Pizza by Evan

Have been ordering from Evans for almost 18 years! Consistently good pizza and we love their Greek salad with the house dressing. Also very friendly owners and employees!

We ordered pizza from Pizza by Evan last night and were very pleasantly surprised. E haven’t really found good pizza on the Cape. The guy who took our order on the phone was very pleasant, delivery was quick, and the pizza itself had a lot of flavor. Really enjoyed it!

Just moved to the area and decided to try them out. The food was great and the staff was incredibly friendly and fast! I would recommend the gyro!

I was staying in the area so we decided to try a pizza here. We ordered the Greek pizza with sliced tomatoes, olives, spinach and feta. We ordered the large. When we got it we couldn’t believe how small it was for $ 16. Got it home opened the box only to be further disappointed. The crust was like a frozen pizza flat with little flavor. The olives were like Lindsey olives right out of the can. The tomatoes were so thin and barely ripe. I have never written a review for Unilocal but I had to express my disappointment that this restaurant was rated with 4 stars. Are you kidding me? I have used Unilocal all around the country and it has guided me to fabulous meals I never would have known, but this pizza by Evan was not one of them.

Clean, friendly, huge menu, fast service, nice atmosphere. Had lunch there a few weeks ago and enjoyed a buffalo chicken salad. I heard the pizza is good as well, will have to try that next. Serves Beer on tap too!

First thing that caught my attention is that the place was empty on a Friday around 5pm. Though there was much seating and many menu options, I can’t say I was overly impressed with my first visit. We ordered garlic bread, a small barbecue chicken and a couple Michelob Ultras (the beer menu was far from exciting). We started with the garlic bread which I found to be sub par, so we asked for a cup of marinara to add a bit of flavor. Timing was good and the pizza arrived not long after but was nothing to write home about for a barbecue chicken, especially for the price. Would like to give Evans a second chance but won’t be rushing back.

Best pizza around! Subs are also good. Everything tastes fresh. Wish Evans was in my local area.

FOOD.
Consistently good pizza. I always have it delivered and it gets to my home HOT and still fresh. (which is great for delivery) Eggplant parm is great and comes on a great sub roll.
I would suggest this pizza to anyone who wants a good pizza and one that will always taste the same every time, great!
SERVICE.
Delivery driver is polite and is on time.

Great subs, great service, great people. They’re really nice here and they know their customers. Anything you order is ready in 10 minutes. Pick up and delivery are their specialities. Subs are top notch. Definitely give them a call.

Great service and food. Have been coming here for years. Greek salad, chicken parm, and veggie pizza all favorites. Big fan!

I love Pizza by Evan. I could live off the Tuna Sub toasted with onions and provolone cheese. If I have had the tuna sub too many times in one week I go with the onion pizza or the steak and cheese calzone (with peppercorn parm dressing). Pizzas have the perfect ratio of cheese, sauce and delicious crust (only pizza I eat the crust with). The key to the pizza is to let it cool just enough to let the cheese solidify. I’ve been going here for about 15 years now, probably around when it opened.
Only con, when the family goes on vacation for a week or two in the winter I have to stock my freezer with pizzas and calzones so I don’t get withdrawals.
