P & C Laundromat

I absolutely despise traveling with dirty laundry after vacationing so we Unilocaled a few nearby laundromats and were on our way.
The laundromat we were originally going to utilize was across the street from where we planned on eating, but we found this cozy laundromat on the way. Peeking in, we noticed that nearly every machine was in use and only two people were inside.
A small Asian lady quickly motioned us to an available washer and we tossed our laundry inside. Looking around, there were no soap dispensers like most laundromats offer. I asked the lady if we could purchase soap and she told me it was $ 1 as she picked up her jug of Tide.
She made sure we inserted 6 quarters into the machine before she poured the laundry soap and then told us it would be 25 minutes.
We were free to run around for 25 minutes! We walked down the street and had breakfast. I read the paper (which I don’t even do at home) and we walked back just in time to put our clothing in the dryer. Although our clothing had been done for a minute or two, she was kind and patient.
It was obvious that we were not from the area. She stood by and told us that since we had jeans in our load we should utilize the high setting for at least 30 minutes.
We left again, taking a walk and perusing a few nearby shops for souvenirs to take to friends and family back home. We came back and folded our laundry and went about our day.
Although this laundromat looks like any other, this small woman is running the joint. She’s very efficient and quite helpful, pushing a cart basket your way between loads. Having to do your laundry at a laundromat can be a pain in the ass sometimes but this one is super convenient if you need to run an errand or grab a bite because you can leave your items unattended. I highly recommend it!
