Toys R Us

The Burnsville store is a mess, poorly stocked, toys worn out with ripped boxes — a real hole. Workers only available to take money and displays in disarray with product placed over the wrong price placards.
Worse than this however is the Toys R Us website. BEWARE before you fill your cart. Check the first item to see if it’s in stock!
A continuous FAIL is Ship To Store. You pick your store, start to shop and all items will show in stock at your selected store. The fun starts when you click checkout– the site again asks you to pick a store for each carted item. Then you find out most/​none of your items, especially popular items, are out of stock even though it showed it as available when placed in cart. There goes an hour. This store and the website both need some tough love.

I feel like a kid when I go in here. So much has changed since I was young. If only it were acceptable for adults to still play with toys, I might have bought some. I wish I had a barking pet toy to go with my GI Joes and Barbie dolls as an 8 year old. There are many toys that involve technology, but the old classics are still around. I was looking for a Cabbage Patch Kid doll, and found half the isle was full of them.
The store was arranged by girl and boy toy isles, electronics and others. It was pretty easy to find what I was looking for. The staff were friendly and helpful when I had a few questions. There was a lot of sales going on and the shelves were clearly marked with the deal prices. While the selections were large, many items sell out quick. I just wish they had a large floor piano so I could play chopsticks!

They’ve gotten better. Yes, it is a bit like a zoo in this store. I got lost in the Lego aisle looking for La La Loopsies. However, they do have a lot of toys. Duh! Toys R Us.
Witty (?) humor aside, they are competitive with the likes of Target and a lot of online stores. Better yet, they price match. Better than that, they price matched a toy I looked up using one of the bar code scanning aps. Now that’s A-​OK!
I would give them a 4-​star. It’s just that they are getting kind of run down looking and could do with some shelf organizing. Product was not where it was labeled and was a bit confusing at times on getting correct price.
