Some family members wanted to go check out this buffet so I decided to tag along since I’ve never been here before. It was Saturday night, which meant all-you-can-eat seafood night for $ 16.99, not including a beverage. I liked the décor of the restaurant but I was not a fan of the set-up. I thought they could’ve been more efficient with the area where the food was, since it seemed like it lacked a lot of typical Chinese buffet offerings. Granted it was seafood night so they had more seafood than a typical night. Even though, it seemed like they didn’t offer a lot of that either. It was a little hard to tell what they had since not all the food items had names listed by it. Of the foods I tried, it lacked flavor, even the sushi. Overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back.

was just there friday evening with some family members(party of 12). we didn’t realize it was seafood night as it was our first time there. it was $ 16.99 per person. we weren’t expecting to pay that much but found out a few miles before we got there from another family member. my husband and i got a few minutes late so when we got there, we walked right in to find our party. the food selection was alright. lots of seafood given it was seafood night. i thought the food i had grabbed was very flavorful unlike other buffet places i’ve been to. the calamari/squid was very tough though. the dumplings were AMAZING as well as the fried rice(i didn’t even have to add soy sauce to it). the steamed buns with a custard like filling inside from the dim sum area was very delicious. the same with the mai fun noodles, the coconut shrimp, some chicken and beef dishes as well(i forget what i got). i can’t forget the hot and sour soup. that was light and good. too bad i didn’t get to try the sushi as i heard they have sashimi also nor did i get a chance to get any phở or try the hibachi bar. what i found very tacky is that the food was on a foil pan versus a hotel pan. that didn’t help much. it makes me think if they even made the food fresh or if they just warmed it up from it being frozen or something. the one thing that annoyed the hell out of me was when the waitress brought our drinks, she just sat it down on the table and told us to pass it to whoever had it. also, when i was about halfway done with my first plate, the waitress brought our bills out already. when she was done handing it out, she waited and asked if anyone wanted to pay it right now. annoyed as we all were, one or two people gave payment but the rest waited as we were still eating! smh! once again, we weren’t even done eating and some were just about to get their second plate when she came back again to check if we were ready to pay again. my husband told me that we should just give payment now so i did. she came back with our slips and took off. i left my slip on the table while i was finishing up eating. not just that but the family was still talking and trying to have a good time. and what do you know. the waitress came back for the third time. she even had the nerve to ask if i signed the credit card slip yet. i told her in a stern voice, no! i’m still eating. still eating! then she walked away. i eventually signed it a few minutes after and definitely didn’t eave a tip(mind you i always leave a tip regardless but not today). why is she even rushing us? i didn’t even want to eat anymore. to think, another party came way before we did and they got their bill after we did. plus they weren’t bothered at all. *sigh* overall, i enjoyed the food but boy, our waitress sucks! makes it hard to decide if i would come back or not just because of that.

Buffet equals cheap and quick when I think of Chinese. I never get my hopes up because you just never know with quality. I have had quite a few people rave about this place on selection especially seafood on the weekends. If you want crab legs go on Friday or Saturday and price is $ 16.99. If you want lobster go on Wednesday or Sunday for $ 20.99. Restaurant is clean me spacious. Located in a small strip mall next to Salvation Army. We were seated right away, less busy than expected on a Sunday but keep in mind we went on a day with below zero temps! They seat you and take your drink order right a way. It goes in a u– shape, starting on your right side is sushi station, dim sum, your regular Chinese buffet dishes, seafood, more seafood, more Chinese fare, phở station, hibachi station and then your fruits sides and desserts. In the middle is your soup area featuring miso, wonton, egg drop, and hot and sour. My main goal was to eat as much seafood as possible. My favorite was the salt and pepper crab, miss my grandma’s version. This wasn’t close but will do when I crave it. Lobster were good sizes, you are allowed one per trip. Some pieces were good, some weren’t. Other seafood options include crawfish(don’t like eating it at buffets), escargot, big clams in no sauce, smaller clams in black bean, crab in sauce, mussels, calamari and the list goes on. My kids loved the food, buffets are such food options for the kids will at least find one item each one will eat! Sushi area had sashimi, sushi and rolls. The ones I tried tasted like any other buffet, if you want sushi please don’t go to a buffet, if you do and complain that is your own fault. Everyone who told me to try this place raved about the seafood options, which is decent but nothing spectacular, however how can you beat that price? Overall, okay I won’t be rushing to make the 30 minute drive down to Burnsville for it though

I came in the place, it’s very nice and open. We may have came in the wrong night I don’t know, but we’re given old food. Sushi was old, everything was hard. Everything tasted old, even I can cook better food. Women’s bathroom stalls was mostly broken. Three was only available. Never go to this place you’ll regret it.

They charge $ 21+ per person when they have lobster in their buffet. But they don’t bring out the lobster until after 6:30pm. So if you go there for an early dinner, say at 5pm, you don’t get lobster. But you pay for it. Sooooo NNNNNNOOOOTTTTCOOOLLLLL!!! Will never go back!

Like many reviewers, I feel a mix of things about this place. Usually for buffets, I look for reasons to keep my tummy happy. Good quality? .Let’s be honest, is not our top priority at buffets but needless to say it needs to hit the spot in the dear old gut but not necessarily needed to go beyond the gut, if you know what I mean.(Oops sorry NSFWS aka NSF-weak stomach). Miyavi had a wide selection of items for a place that looks rather small on the outside. They do seafood buffet on Wednesday and Sunday’s for $ 20.99(a hefty price that I didn’t realize until someone in my party went up and grabbed a plate before I could ask for cost). For the price tag, you do get a wide variety of seafood from crayfish to blue shelled crab to fish and calamari. Freshness of the seafood however? Mmm I found them to be subpar. They had a tendency to stir fry every seafood item in a heavily seasoned, thick cornstarch-y coating and that’s a great indicator that they’re trying to mask their not-so-fresh taste.(My tummy has learned to stay clear of those items). They also have a phở bar which is not phở-me and dim sum that has been sitting over the steamer bar for quite some time– also not for me. So I guess I can’t say I can give this place an accurate review cause I avoid the things that were a bit fishy to be eaten, but overall I had a full belly on the things I did like. Their fried calamari bomb, their stir-fried green beans bomb, their sushi selection pretty close to being bomb. My tummy left satisfied, but I wouldn’t return seafood night again to pay that price.

Horrible service. If you don’t mind never getting your water refill, then I guess it’s a good place for you. This place is expensive too. My bf and I went around 8pm(they close at 9pm). Around 8:40, one of the waitress finally comes to ask if we wanted refills(note: it was a Tuesday night, bot busy at all). As soon as she got us our refills, she gave us our check and asked us to pay immediately. As I was pulling out my purse, I let her knew that the food was cold. She said«Thats because you came late». ??? Really???

I made the mistake of having to go to the bathroom when we first arrived. It was not clean at all. The inside of the restaurant is very large and all the food is against the back wall which I liked. They have a good assortment of sea food here and if that’s what your after you’ll probably be satisfied. We went on a Sunday night when they had all you can eat lobster. This sounds great at first until you find out that it’s deep fried and covered in a thick sticky sauce and you’re not allowed to dish it up yourself so you’re stuck with whatever the server gives you. They also serve various other Chinese dishes with sushi and a small selection of dim-sung. I found the food to be about average with the other Chinese buffets in the area other than it having a larger selection of seafood.

We did come here again… and I’m taking this place from a 3 star, like I voted last time when I came here, to a 1 star. If you read my last review, I wrote that the plates and the forks seemed sticky. 1 year later… they’re still sticky. I also wrote on last review that it seemed really messy behind the counter. Well, my friends, that’s still the case. My mom also officially does not like this place anymore… something that changed from last time. Now that she doesn’t like the place, we will NOT be coming here again. Ever.

I don’t understand how this place only has 2 ½ stars this place is amazing! We went here on a Saturday and it is all you can eat crab!!! Can’t beat that!!! They where very friendly!!! The only thing that is stupid about this place is if you waste a bunch of food they will charge you! But if you just get the right amount of food you be fine! Can’t wait to go back!!! Best Buffett we have found and it’s not too expensive!!! We would definitely be going back!!!

This place has a huge section of seafood. However quality is not superb, but what do you expect from a buffet. The sushi is good but the soy sauce they use is not made for sushi. It is just regular Chinese soy sauce. Service is ok. The girls working here work pretty hard. We went on a Saturday night and there was plenty of food along with phở. I have heard this place can be hit or miss; not consistent with bringing out the food and quality. I still give it 4 stars because I do enjoy eating here.

Service was good, service refilled out drinks regularly and removed our plates whenever we’re done with it. However, the food was not so great. Typical buffets: quantity over quality. They had a huge selection of sushi; however, the sashimi wasn’t fresh and the rice wasn’t soft enough. Hot and sour soup tasted quite saltier than average. Should I keep going on?

After my first plate here, I knew immediately that I would not be able to eat enough to get my money’s worth. The food was old, dry, and obviously reheated or whatever they did to it. The phở is here is a joke. The food made me sad! I walked out of here with a very sad tummy. If you’re someone that doesn’t care about the quality of your food, then I suggest this place for you.

It was a crisp and rainy spring Saturday when we arrived, endampened, to join a party of eight for a family dinner. In the entryway I paused, caught between the pleasing visual of a birch-tree-lined wall display and the olfactory bitchslap of creatures far, far and long away from their salty homelands. One bound lobster tapped soulfully at the wall of its murky aquarium, as if to say, «Why? why?» Alas, we would later exit with no better answer for the mournful crustacean. Our 14-year-old niece who had selected the place was more than satisfied, her plate adorned with oysters and sushi and other video game characters including a terrified-looking miniature octopus. And the sister ten years her junior seemed happy playing with lo mein noodles and a stale chocolate chip cookie. But in the adults corner, the situation was dire. Tried and rejected: sushi, miso soup, lobster, roast duck, egg roll, coconut shrimp, chicken foot, chicken and broccoli, beef and mushroom, lo mein, red melon, dessert trifle squares, sesame balls. My husband later remarked, «I think I ate more than usual, just trying to find something good.» The Miyavi accomplished an unexpected feat in hitting the top of my worst list for Chinese buffets. On the other hand, those little warm sugared donuts common to every Chinese buffet were fresh and delicious, so if you live or work nearby, just think of this as your neighborhood weird-smelling, one-trick-pony bakery and go nuts.

I first heard about this place on some local advertisements. After seeing that they have raw oysters on a buffet for around $ 14 per person, I was tempted into trying this place out. From my knowledge, the only other place that has raw oysters on the buffet is the Seafood Buffet on Wednesday nights at Mystic, and that costs $ 30 per person. The restaurant itself was decorated and furnished very well — nice, open spaces with flashy decors; however, the food was alright. The raw oysters were very small and does not appear to be fresh at all. I ate one, and I felt like I may get sick if I eat the other one I grabbed. They have the typical Chinese dishes at a buffet, but none really stood out to me. They did have a big seafood selection though none of it was memorable or fresh for me. The sushi was alright. I was surprised to see that they have salmon nirigi and etc, but again this was not fresh, and I would not advise you to consume it. After eating here, I felt a little sick/lightheaded when I got home, similar to the feeling of consuming too much MSG. I probably won’t be back. My suggestions — go to Super Moon in St. Louis Park, Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet in Fridley, or at the least, Teppayanki in Midway.

Your typical Chinese buffet. It’s very nice and clean inside. The food selection was very small. Tons of people because they serve seafood on the weekends along with lobster. Not a big selection. Food was bland. I will say this place was pretty spacious. Not much to say about the food. They have sushi, dim sum, phở, & your basic Chinese buffet dishes. The phở was pretty good. Lots of flavor. The sushi was blah. You can tell it’s been sitting out. They have tip jars all over. Not worth the drive to Burnsville.

Prices of course have changed weekends and holidays charging more, they also have a hit or miss on food quality depending on the night. Go during busier nights the food will be more fresh. I do love all of the seafood options except the oysters they don’t look fresh a stomach ache waiting to happen. Not the best but descent when craving a Asian buffet

Alright, many things to say about this place. 1. I love the seafood here. The clams are huge, they have a variety of seafood. 2. They also have other things like Dim Sum, Sushi, fruit, Ph and american fried food. 3. The service is delightful and fast. 4. Ice cream comes in a foam cup. I don’t mind it actually, it brings back some nostalgia of my younger days. Lastly, they do serve the lobster all you can eat. Only on certain days though, and its my favorite, ginger scallion. Now, my review may be bias because I really only eat seafood whenever I come to this place, and honestly the last time I was there I was sick with a cold and I couldn’t even taste much except the clams. But their seafood is probably one of the best that you can get for the price and quality of food. They also sometimes have snail which is delicious! Though the snails are small and you struggle to get it out with a toothpick, the sauce that they are cooked in is quite good. I didn’t have the Ph because honestly, I am quite accommodated to grandma’s Ph. But my mother did try it out. She said that it was a bit on the more sweet side. My father did have a taste and he did state that Grandma’s Ph wins hands down. Point is: My review is pretty much only on the seafood that I eat there. I enjoy it and I have honestly haven’t had much else other than the seafood there. Clams, lobster, snails and mussles.
