Best Buy

So I preordered the Star Wars battlefront with the Star Wars ps4 here. On the night of the release I went up there and the chick that originally rang up my order didn’t have what I asked for on the receipts. They were kind enough to fix the mistake. Now when you preorder this game you get a code to download extra stuffs week prior to the release and the code is on your receipts. Well since they had to exchange/​fix the issue I didn’t get the code to download the new maps to play as I was supposed to. So here I sit after taking a days vacation to play these new maps early and have a good time, I find out due to mistakes the employees made I wasted a day of pto and don’t get to play these maps as I’m supposed to have access to. I doubt I will go to this Best Buy again due to employees it knowing what they are doing. Which is too bad because there’s not as many of these stores as there used to be, but perhaps this is why…

I really want to still like best buy. I brought my computer to get worked on to geek squad. No body in line but I was told 20min wait. I just wanted to drop my computer off. I didn’t have to wait at apple valley when I brought it there. They took 3 days longer to fix than they said and when I came to pick it up I was told it was going to be a 20 min wait! Lol, I just want to pick it up!

Location is terrible. Went in to buy a laptop. Showed employee the price Amazon had and he priced matched it. I was happy and on my out with a good experience… so I thought.
Then some other employee stepped in and started checking online prices and said wasn’t the same but a refurbished price.
I checked again and found another site selling a new model exactly the same, even cheaper than the price I thought was good!
They said they could not price match it even though it showed it was not refurbished and NEW! (They both seemed shocked at the online price). So I was already there and offered them to price match the Amazon price but the guy who made it his business to butt in said they couldn’t price match it or the other site that had the better deal. So I guess they don’t online match if it’s not to their liking.
I should be thanking them. I walked out and went home and just placed my order for the same laptop (exactly the same specs to a «T»).
Thank you for the horrible customer service Best Buy, you saved me an extra $ 200 by being, well Best Buy! It’s no wonder you business model is done for and frankly so am I.

New location that is hard to access. Better lay out then most. It’s a Best Buy what else can I say.
