We watched a rat run out of their kitchen tonight! It ran out of the kitchen up to the reception desk and when new customers came in it ran back to the kitchen. WTF?! Needless to say we decided not to eat the food we had ordered. It was grey and about five inches of body.

My wife and I came in for lunch, we were not impressed, ordered the steak and fries? My wife received double the amount of fries as I did, and they weren’t hot? Warm at best, the steaks had nice flavor but there wasn’t much steak on our plates, we were disappointed for sure, not enough good restaurants in skagit county!

Over priced for what you get. Clam chowder over spiced with pepper. Fish was over cooked and oily my meatball sandwich was ok, everything was over spiced and not in a good way. Fries were excellent hot and crisp. 3 different people brought out food etc and orders came out delayed. Not worth a return trip.

Came here the last time in town, and it was very good. Back in town so we stopped by late night, for a quick bite. Very disappointed. Service was fine, nothing extraordinary, but nothing bad either. Drinks were good, I had a beer, bride had blueberry lemon drop martini. The martini came in a personal shaker, that my bride could pour herself. Nice touch. Food was awful. We ordered 2 appetizers; New York cheese bread and pulled pork nachos. NY cheese bread was good, marinara sauce it was served with was good. Nachos were terrible. We got a bunch of bottom of the bag broken chips, maybe 2 oz of pork, and cheese that hardened before the dish made it to our table. It was quite literally $ 12 for broken chips. No salsa, we asked and we were told all they had was pico de gallo(mostly just onions). We asked for jalapeños to be added, so we got a touch of flavor. Complete opposite from our previous experience… huge let down.

Yup!!! This place is awesome, huge beer selection, great burgers, and good service. I had the black and blu burger and couldn’t be more satisfied, my wife had the American burger and agrees.

I would have given them 5, however there app is broken, and when you do sign up for the VIP club you get one coupon but get emailed another coupon for the same item but more requirements. Other than that the food is great, the service is great, and it is definitely worth the money!

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the veggie pizza. Have been there for lunch and happy hour. It’s a large place so you don’t really have to worry about finding a seat. Service was ok. Access to the parking lot was a headache. The kicker is really the view of the seedy motel next door from the bar… Especially in the summer when the windows are open.

Lots of room for a Christmas party. Eric our server was very attentive and did a great job. The nachos were huge.

Having experienced the Bellingham location several times, I decided to try the Burlington outlet after waiting in traffic for too long. The on tap beer choice had some good dark options and the lunch menu was extensive. The bartender had a cheerful hello and provided quick service. My pizza was well presented — arugula and prosciutto is a favorite combination. I can´t stop off too often, but it NYP will be another good option in Skagit Valley.

Not sure why only three stars. We were headed somewhere else but concerned we couldn’t make it there before they were done with dinner, so we saw the full parking lot at NYP and decided to take a chance. So glad we did! The food was really tasty(I had the John Wayne Burger(w/fries) and a caesar salad, my wife had the flat iron steak and fries) and the service was good(though a little slow — mind you, it was pretty busy and the server was very friendly). All in all if in the area again, we will be back!

Bathroom review: The hallway to the bathrooms are very dark(extraordinarily dark), and not well marked, leading to confusion. Inside, my first impression was that it felt like an office, with an interesting unmarked door first thing in view. The stalls looked nice from the outside, and the two urinals had dividers between them, which I appreciate, and also mats on the floor below, for better or worse. The radio is playing overhead inside, which is cool for sports, since the Seahawks game was on(that’s why we were there). The sink was laid out well, with two adjacent sinks and manual operation soap dispensers. The faucet got HOT, which was surprising, and kind of frustrating, since it required me to use both faucets so not to burn my hands(literally). The paper towel dispenser is motion activated, which is nice, but it was empty, with a giant paper towel roll left between the sinks on the table for us to navigate ourselves. Not my favorite thing. Overall, it was clean, though, and I appreciated its quality, despite a few frustrating points.

Happy Hour menu prices makes this well worth it. Huge drink and food menu to choose from. Service is getting better and more organized. Their food is tasty!

5 star Bar and Grill. Been three times and each time the food, service and drinks were great. Love the steak salad. The Happy Hour burger was awesome too.

Tried this place out late last Friday. I know going to a place late can be a bad idea and not indicative of the normal quality, but it wasn’t busy and there were plenty of people still there, and the kitchen was open for another hour so I’m writing this review anyway. My folks and I stopped in. We had the calamari off the happy hour menu for an appetizer. Perhaps the worst calamari I’ve had in my life. It was chewy, bland, and tasted like it had either been sitting in the window for 10 minutes(wouldn’t be surprised, service was very slow), or it had been sitting the basket and was fried again to bring it back to life. Either way, I’m from Montana so I’m used to sub par calamari, but this was hands down the worst I’ve ever had. It was supposed to come with dipping sauce, and when we noticed it didn’t have any, the lady said they were out. Well fine tell us that in advance so we can choose another sauce! We tried another sauce, the southwest aioli, and it was over the top spicy. Not even edible. Somebody had a heavy hand on the spice in the prep room. My burger and fries were actually really good. Fries had a nice seasoning on them, were hot and fresh, and the burger was hand-pressed and the toppings good. This, and the meatball appetizer my mom had(sauce very good, meatball just pretty good) were the only reason this place even gets 2 stars from me. My dad had the fish taco, it was swimming in a different but equally indelibly spicy aioli sauce. He couldn’t even finish it. I couldn’t believe how much was on there, especially for how hot it was. Imagine putting so much Sriracha sauce in ground beef it turned blood red. That’s about the same thing here. It would have been gross even if the sauce wasn’t so spicy. The ambiance is not good. We were in the dining room adjacent to the bar area, and it was very loud. The bar looked fairly full, but people weren’t yelling or anything, there is just nothing to deaden the sound in the whole place, it just reverberates straight into your eardrum. The wait was slow, the server inattentive, food hit or miss. Can’t say I have any desire to try this place again. As a guy who doesn’t get to eat out much anymore with a new family and a budget, I’ll be using my rare occasions to do so somewhere else.

I was looking for something new in the Burlington area and noticed this place and decided to give it a try. It’s right off of I5 which was convenient but at first glance I almost turned away. The outside of the building is pretty blah, and the parking lot is super cramped. I’m really glad I gave it a shot though, the inside doesn’t match the outside at all. Inside everything is very new. In the bar area where I had dinner it had a nice higher end sports bar feel, with large tv’s in every direction and a large garage door that was opened so we could enjoy one of the last few remaining days of summer. There were a lot of cool details in the bar like a tv that showed what they had on draft along with how much was left which was pretty cool. They had a fairly good selection of drinks as well so definitely a good place to watch the game. The staff were great and super quick to help. The food was super bad for you I’m sure but really good with lots of options for dipping sauces. I ended up with the aloha burger and fries which were both delicious. Overall a great experience, don’t let the outside turn you away!

I’m super bummed out with both the food and the service. I put an online order in tonight for the first time. The website didn’t send them the info apparently, the girl at the front was so cranky before we even said anything, we waited around 20min for an order to be ready that should have been ready, a manager came out and looked at the online receipt that was emailed to me and apologized(which I appreciated) but didn’t offer anything for our trouble. I was pressed for time which is why I ordered online and when you call NYP it specifically suggests you order online. At the end of it all the grumpy girl handed me a receipt, I handed her cash, and she informed me that they«Don’t handle change over here» and that she’d «try to get me my 44 cents» and waited for me to respond for a bit until I encouraged her that I wanted my change. A sweet waitress(one who had actually made small talk with me and SMILED) gave me change and I got my food and left. Last but definitely not least, the clam chowder was good but my sweet potato fries were terrible. So so so much salt and so wet and mushy — I started to eat them immediately so they weren’t sitting around but stopped after eating a few of them. Which is why I wrote a review — I was disappointed with the two things that restaurants are supposed to do well. I will not be back.

Had lunch at NYP last week and it’s just okay… nothing special. The décor is kind of dated and blah, especially considering they just opened. I had the Margarita pizza which I thought would be good since they seem to specialize in pizza. But the crust was tasteless, the tomatoes weren’t cooked, and the cheese was really rubbery. My friend had the soup and salad and she seemed okay with it. Won’t be rushing back here anytime soon though!

I came here unexpectedly when one of my tires popped and I was getting it repaired at the local Les Schwab. I think it was the first weekend they were open, so I am going to cut the wait staff some slack and not account for their service in this review. When you walk in, the restaurant is very fresh and modern. I find this hilarious considering it’s surrounded by some run down hotels and is in the unexciting city of Burlington. The waitress asked for our drink orders and my stepdad ordered an Irish coffee. They brought him coffee with Bailey’s in it. The bartender clearly had no experience and no idea what a real Irish coffee is but they did their best to fix the problem. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado Club and it was surprisingly tasty! I did not have high expectations for this place but the flavor and quality of the sandwich was pretty good. My other family members were happy with their meals as well. While I would stop in here again if I was in the area, I wouldn’t go out of my way.

They are brand new restaurant so naturally everyone in the valley wants to go try it out. They don’t have a good flow down yet so they come across unorganized and very slow. We went for happy hour at 5:30. They didn’t get drunk orders until 15 min after we sat. And came right at 6 to get food orders so we couldn’t get happy hour. Our food was decent, it wasn’t bad, but way too over priced for the valley. Also their menu is so hard to read and no photos. They have a lot to fix in order to be successful but probably won’t last in that location. The parking lot is so small and they have only one way in and one way out. I won’t be disappointed if I never go back.
