There’s not a lot of places left in the New North End, not like Merola’s. The people that I see there are wonderful. When they ask how you are, they will sit there and listen as you tell them. Yeah, they sell liquor. They also make great sandwiches and have some really cool stemware you can get for your hipster friends. I really treasure Merola’s and am grateful for them in the NNE.

Burlington, VT
Merola’s Market is your standard convenience store. I think they have a deli but I’ve never asked for anything. The most important thing to know about this place is that it is also a liquor store. That pretty much sums it all up:)
