Laila

I’ve been coming to Laila for eyebrow threading for close to 5 months now. She does a wonderful job every single time, and I’ll continue to come back to her. Her current price for threading is extremely reasonable at just $ 6, which you really can’t beat. At other places in the past, I’ve generally paid around $ 14 for threading, so on price alone she wins. And needless to say again, her work is extremely professional and I always leave looking great. I believe she only takes appointments, so be sure to call in advance (I’ve never had trouble getting an appointment day of). The place can be a little difficult to find the first time. She works out of the Headzzup Hair Salon & Spa, which is tucked into the back of a small plaza.

No longer with the Chelmsford establishment where we first met, she has moved onward and upward and has partnered up with Priya in their new Burlington location. I suppose it was inevitable that she would branch out on this joint venture. Her kind of talent can’t be contained. As her clientele grew, so did her desire to run her own show. She brings with her not only years of experience, but an innate, natural gift of hair styling, blow outs, threading, and so much more!
Because Chelmsford is such a trek for me, I tried again to find someone closer to home who could do the job. Some were decent, but most paled in comparison. I was becoming desperate and decided I just had to make the timely slog to Chelmsford once again. Imagine my distraught when I called to make an appointment and heard Laila was no longer there (and no forwarding information forthcoming!). Fortunately, a quick and simple Google search (Laila, Hair, Massachusetts) provided the answer I sought. There was her (with Priya’s) picture on Facebook. I was thrilled to reunite with Laila just the other day. After the hugs and catching up on her life the past few months, she handily set about the task of, not just a hair cut, but, in truth, a correction cut due to the sad attempts I’d endured recently. After the cut came the blow out — this is where she really shines when it comes to my hair :) In a little over an hour, she had everything back to normal (just a little shorter this time, at my request, so it will last longer!).
Of course, a great cut and blow out is its own reward, but there is no denying the added bonuses; 1) Burlington is 15 minutes CLOSER to home for me and 2) Her prices are WAY better than before. True, they don’t take credit cards — yet, but I’m sure in time, as their business grows, that will become a payment option.
