We were referred to Serena by a friend who just moved to the Burlingame area. Serena did an excellent job at explaining the home buying process which was important to us as first time home buyers. She is incredibly responsive, night and day and helped us through some difficult «offer» situations. Most importantly, we appreciated her availability as we went into contract over the holidays. She goes above and beyond to help in any way possible and is excellent at keeping communication with all interested parties during the contract process (i.e. listing agent, loan officer, title company etc). Serena was a great partner for us in our home buying process. Anyone who’s transacted or even browsed in the Bay Area real estate market over the past few years knows that it is very competitive. With the best homes sitting on the market for only a few days, knowing when inventory is going to hit and then being available to show homes at a moments notice are key. Deep knowledge about the neighborhoods, recent comps and having a pulse on current buyer demand are all important to determine quickly if and what to offer. Serena really knows the recent market dynamics well and was always available with answers to our questions or willing to do the quick research to gather the data points we needed to make informed decisions. It was great to have her as a sounding board for our negotiations and it was refreshing that she never pressured us to offer anything outside of our comfort zone. In the end it took us the better part of 6 months but we ended up with a wonderful home in our ideal neighborhood.
