Very knowledgble and helpful staff. They don’t have glock 34 in stock at the time of my visit, they ordered it for me and got it in 3 days. Great customer service.

Hands down the best gun store in the Bay Area. They beat everyone’s price by over $ 100 and there was no attitude involved. If you are looking for a new firearm and don’t want to drive to Sacramento to save money(their prices are very close), this is the spot. Thanks for the great service

Great find. Came in today looking for some magpul parts. They had a good selection. They also got a decent selection of rifles, shotguns and pistols. Vincent greeted me, answered my questions and rang me up. Turns out they also install sights and can work on your rifle. I will definitely consider it next time. They didn’t have the hand guard I was looking for but they offered to order it and not charge me for shipping. I will come back again when I’m in the market for some new pistols. I ended up buying a flip up rear sight. They’ve been in business since last year, it’s always good to have more gun stores in the area especially during the recent events going on in the country.

This is the best gun store on the Peninsula. Since I have discovered this store, I go nowhere else. Scott and his staff are very knowledgeable. The selection is varied and reasonably priced. On a side note… Last week I jammed up my Glock and Scott fixed it at no charge! It pays to be a repeat customer!

My initial thought of the place when I walked in the store was Wow this store is great. They had plenty of items and I was greeted instantly upon entering. My purpose when I came to the store was to purchase a tool to remove the stock rail off of my AR so that I could attach my new Noveske NSR Rail. Scott was the individual that helped me and told me that they did not have it but he would be willing to remove my old rail and attach the new one for me for $ 75 for the labor and I had to buy a new gas block for $ 79. I’m new to the AR world and did not have much knowledge but all I knew was that I wanted my new rail attached to it and that the cost didn’t matter so I did it. I came back 3 hrs later because he told me it normally takes that long but when I came back my AR looked amazing and he did a fabulous job. The next day I came and purchased a RADD lock to put on my AR. I went home and couldn’t do it on my own so I thought hey let me see if Scott could do it. Sure enough he responded that he could but it would take a few hours and that I would have to come back but again it would cost me another $ 75 for labor. The second time around I thought man this is a ridiculous price just to install a RADD lock. He gave me some story about Noveske rifles welding on the bullet buttons on ARs that why it cost so much and why it was going to take so long. This time around I was a lot smarter and called another gun store. I called Triple A Gun Store in Vallejo and I live in San Francisco. The guy told me to come in and he would look at it. Just as I suspected the guy Scott tried to get over on me by charging me $ 75 just to install the RADD lever. The guy at Triple A Guns installed it in less than 15 minutes and didn’t even wanna charge me. However, I insisted he take my $ 20 for tip and his honesty. The moral of the story here is to know your stuff first. Because the people at Coyote Point Armory were knowledgeable they tried taking advantage of me because I was less knowledgeable and looked like an easy target for them to get over on. If that’s one thing I hate about shopping at places it’s dis-honest business owners and now I see why they don’t get business in their store. So if your looking for a place with lots of product you’ll definitely find that here but the prices are a little higher and the workers might just try to pull a fast one on you if you don’t quite know your stuff.

The best Gun Shop in Northern California, period! Huge inventory, very knowledgeable, great prices. I’ve shopped at all the Bay Area gun broker, dealers — large and small, but the folks at Coyote Point Armory are AWESOME. I went in looking for a new sub compact 9 mm after tons of Internet research. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, but they«objectively» showed me alternative and we spoke about the trade offs. Other shops talk down to customers, other shops expect you to know everything. Not Coyote, these guys are not selling you, they simply enjoy what they do. These guys will talk you out of over spending on wrong product. As far as price goes — They have prices equal to anything I found on Gunbroker. The MRSP retail was $ 810, I paid $ 550. And I now have a shop that will stand behind the product if I have any issue. Or just consign it, if I change my mind. You will not save anything buying online. Maybe you can save 20 – 40 bucks, and then you have no local shop to support you. Where ever you are — spend the time and drive to Coyote Point Armory. (yup, 101 sucks, oh well) 100% Satisfied, Charles B in Belmont, Ca

First experience with Coyote Point Armory. Very helpful and friendly group. Scott and the other gentlemen was able to assist me in finding 2 rifles other firearms dealer couldn’t locate. Placed the order and will back in 1 – 2 weeks to DROS. They offer competitive pricing and great customer service. They won me over as my to go store from this point on.

Decent selection with a nice store layout, but the customer service is lacking. I’ve been in the shop a few times now and never felt welcomed. Prices are on par with all the other Bay Area gun shops, but given their poor/offensive customer service the last two visits, I passed and took my business elsewhere. Both times, I had my checkbook and paperwork in hand eager to spend money. It’s a shame since this shop is the closest to my workplace. I was present for their«Grand Opening BBQ» and a lot of questionable things occurred with their raffle(and the rest of the advertised promos that day). That was the final straw and I haven’t been back since. I’ll politely put my money where my mouth is and vote with my dollars. Your experience may vary.

These guys are great! I went to their grand opening and wasn’t as busy as I’d have thought but there were still about 10 customers in there, they handled each person with respect and took their time with each customer to give their input and feedback about their products. I went back 10 days later(because I purchased a firearm) and was still impressed. Their pricing on firearms is great to fair. Bought a Tavor for about 15% less than what everyone else charged in the bay area. Their pricing on ammo, namely .22lr, wasn’t gouging pricing at all, was in fact a lot cheaper than internet pricing AND they have it in stock with no limit(at the time). I asked about some add on products and I was given an answer on whether or not they could get it and the price and about how long it’d take. Their accessories were fairly priced as well. Internet pricing or slightly below. This place and the people there make you feel like a «valued customer», something which a lot of shops are missing now. Definitely check them out, it’s a bit of a drive for me but will gladly make it again.

Well I’m super stoked to have a premier gun shop on the peninsula that doesn’t just cater to Black Rifle. Don’t get me wrong you can walk in and get pretty much anything you need to finish an AR build, but on the other hand there is a nice selection of hunting shotguns and hunting rifles. John was great and helped me get my versa max ordered and Scott got me my long sought after Milspec 5r Remington 700. Both dudes are super patient and will make sure your comfortable on what you are purchasing.

I am a new customer and huge fan of this gun store! I live over in the East Bay and normally frequent the shops there, but when I tried buying my ARJP rifle through my «regular friendly Russian guys» all I got was excuses of previous customers problems and a solid ’ Nyeyt’. Flash forward to talking with Scott at Coyote about rifles and rifles builds… I was stunned! Forty five minutes of conversation later about all things AR and I knew this was the place. I arrived at CPA on a Friday and Scott walked me through 3-gun, zombie hoards, and any other crazy crap I could think of about owning an AR. I ordered my gun, Scott helped me through optics and went with his rec on that too. It took a few weeks for the JP guys to get the gun together and Scott mounted the scope and even bore sighted it! Come on! The rifle Is perfect: a thing of beauty and a joy forever. Psyched? You bet. Returning customer? Oh yea. Now just studying a little Russian to say, «Thanks comrade, but most of my rubles will be going to CPA for gun purchases from now on.»

Called Coyote Point Armory a couple of times to inquire about availability, and Scott was very cordial and professional. Unlike some other stores, he didn’t sound annoyed. Prices are excellent for handguns as they do NOT price gouge. This shop treats firearm-veterans and first time gun buyers with the same level of courtesy and respect. This is a hidden gem which I look forward to conducting business with again. Highly recommended!

They know their stuff. Will spend an hr to educate you and walk you through your options. I’ve seen them do that with customer each time I was here. I also had a good long chat with the owner Scott and the other guy regarding scopes. Very knowledgeable guys there at Coyote Point. Selection wise, they are not fully stocked yet, but, they will be having a HUGE selection of high end and ultra high end stuff you won’t see anywhere else. Of course on top of the regular stuff that is. Firearms, parts, scopes/optics, ammo, and reloading stuff supposedly. Best of all, price is very reasonable. Comparable or cheaper than other shops. Example of their awesome prices. They sell a brick of 22s for UNDER $ 30, after tax. Definitely comparable to online prices. They also offer full gunsmith services. Including machining and etc. don’t think they got the machines set up to do some machine work yet. Great guys, great selection, great prices, great shop. Would visit again.

not much inventory there yet, but I was able to score some ammo at a decent price, when they could have easily gouged. So props to them. Very knowledgeable. They carry a pretty nice selection of good long and short distance scopes. No S&B’s, but plenty of good Leupold glass.
