Texas Overhead Door

I was in quite a jam and called Texas Overhead Door to help me… I backed out of my garage while my garage door had not quite finished going up all the way and therefore I was stuck in the garage because the door was bent. I called TOD and hey came out immediately and fixed the door. Awesome customer service!

Last week, my car rolled into my garage door. At the time, my garage door was not
working properly. In a hurry to get my car into the garage ahead of an oncoming storm, I
was careless about checking to see if it was in park while running. It was not!!! Enough said
about that.
I went to Texas Overhead Door the next morning to get the mangled garage door replaced. Mike scheduled a visit for that afternoon to temporarily align the door back to secure
the garage until the door could be permanently replaced. He gave me a very fair and reasonable estimate.
Within a few days, Mike was back with a new door that matched my house trim perfectly.
His work was excellent, and he took the time to explain things to me. He also said to let them
know if I had any further questions or should any problems arise. Peace of mind, and a reliable
business that I would certainly recommend to everyone!

Needed a new garage door.
After a very professional estimate from «Mike», few days later as set up, i got a very professional installation by «Mike»! On time, very courteous, impeccable work done by a professional worker proud of his work… That deserves a five stars

Long time 10+ year customer, called Texas Overhead door to replace broken torsion spring. When repairman showed up, he stated the fee was $ 300 for a 1 year warranty and $ 360 for a 3 year warranty for installing the same spring. The price sounded high to me, but he was already there and I told him to go ahead an repair it which took around 30 minutes. After he left I did some shopping around to local business’s and found I could get the same job done for around $ 200 at multiple places. The retail price of the springs is under $ 100 plus the standard service charge of $ 89, total bill should have been below $ 200. Called Texas Overhead Door and spoke to Patti, who told me that pricing had been in effect since Jan and refused to adjust the price. The lesson is that even a long time company you have done business with 10+ years is capable of price gouging, always shop around and ask for a quote ahead of time.

So I started out my Saturday looking for parts for my garage door that decided to act up last night. After much searching I came to the conclusion that I was going to have a door tech come and repair my door.
Collin from Texas Overhead Door was very responsive. I only had to wait about 10 minutes for him to call back after leaving my information with the answering service (we still have those?). He told me when he could be there and what the repair charges would be.
Collin arrived right in time and got right to work. I have to say that I was impressed with the level of service and what I think was a high level of customer care provided by Collin. He made sure that everything was performing as it should in addition to replacing my worn parts.
If this is the level of service provided by all of the techs at Texas Overhead Door then I have to say kudos to the ownership and management of this company. This level of care seems to be very rare these days and I’m happy to provide this review and hand out their business card to people who need their services and want someone who truly cares.

After a horrible experience with another company these guys made everything right! Friendly staff with prompt and knowledgable technicians. Unlike my prior experience, these guys do not make unnecessary recommendations. The prices were reasonable. Although they are only open on weekdays from 8 – 5, they are well worth it!
I highly recommend them!
