Tree broke in half and the part still standing was ready to fall in neighbors house. Owner Frank came right over and gave a great price. They finished after only two hous and even cleaned it all up. When they left there was nothing for me to do. Great price, friendly workers, timely, and cleaned it all up. Easy 5 stars, 6 stars(******) for taking the stress away quickly.

We called Advanced Tree Services after a couple of really rough storms ripped one of our Hackberry trees in half. This tree was about 55+ feet tall, and as you can imagine, it made quite a mess in our back lot. We had no idea when the rest of it would fall, or if it might fall on someone or an animal. Frank, the owner, came out to give us a free estimate. While he was here he explained to me what a Hackberry tree is(I was clueless) and pointed out its evil twin right behind our house. He gave us a few options/quotes to handle the situation, but we ultimately decided to have both trees removed and hauled off. Frank and his crew arrived as scheduled in spite of recent rains and sketchy weather. They immediately got to work and didn’t mind at all that my husband and I hung out in the back yard as they worked. This just isn’t something you see every day, so I have to admit I was kinda pumped about it. I was dying to see how they’d go about cutting down such a big, tall tree SOCLOSE to our house without destroying the roof. They’re insured… relax.
Along with the guys came a wood chipper, a few trucks and trailers, a bobcat(or something like that) and more chainsaws than I’d normally be comfortable seeing in my yard. All of a sudden this dude scales our tree like Spiderman and gets to work. The guy is swinging this chainsaw around and cutting limbs with one hand. Think John Wayne with a chainsaw. Then another guy climbs up and gets to work, the guys on the ground are shoving the fallen limbs into the wood chipper. Long story short, it was awesome to watch them work. They were efficient and skilled. I can’t even describe the complex rope/pully system they used to ensure that no branches hit the house, shed or fence. They worked quickly to clean up the mess after they were done and even leveled out the dirt again. They were nice enough to get rid of our existing brush pile which had nothing to do with the Hackberry trees and was apparently home to a family of garden snakes(omg-omg-i-hate-snakes). Before they left I had a couple of questions for Frank regarding another tree situation we have and I got to meet some of the crew. This is a family business which is a bonus in my book and I cannot say enough good things about how nice they all were, or the work they do. These guys know their craft, Frank could probably teach classes on this topic at A&M and his love for this job comes through when he talks to you and educates you about your plants/trees. The rates are quite good for the stellar service they offer, they are insured, they work quickly, clean up after themselves and they were honestly fun to watch and hang out with for an afternoon. No rushing, no pretense, no short cuts and no rip off. Call them for your tree services! We are going to use them again for all tree issues in the future, and I recommend them for yours.
