what an absolute blessing to meet Jimmy today. He was really engaging to chat with and helped me find the perfect 24 mm band for my watch :)! he took the time to make sure I liked what I had, and even educated me on how to change my own bands. I could not recommend him any more if I tried! what are you doing? go over there and have an amazing experience!

I am so very late writing this review, and was reminded that I wanted to write one when I stopped by Toluca Watch this weekend to have a battery replaced. Last year, I took an old Timex wind-up watch in to see if they could get it working again. The watch itself isn’t worth any money, but has great sentimental value; it was my first watch and was given to me by my grandmother back in the 70’s when I was about 6. Over the years, the watch went swimming, digging, had it’s share of bubble baths and suffered the general beating of any beloved item owned by a 6 – 10 year old kid; the watch stopped sometime in the 90’s. Toluca Watch was so kind in accepting the job, kept the watch for about a month, watching Ebay for the parts they needed to fix it and, ta-dah– I got my watch back! They didn’t have to retrofit it with battery clock-works, so it still works as a wind up and it works perfectly! While it’s not a fancy watch or really a watch for a grown up, I feel happy whenever I wear it. Thank you Toluca Watch! They clearly have a passion for watches and for taking care of customers.

It is my second time here. I just needed a new battery for my watch. Met the owner Jimmy and he seems nice. Quick and efficient. Will do business again.

I have been in here a few time to have bands replaced and had my wife’s high school watch repaired. The two guys working there have been nothing but perfect. This is the best watch repair in Los Angeles as far as I am concerned. Fair prices and great customer service.

Took my Nixon watch in to get it fixed. One of the links fell out. He took it back, sat down, 2 minutes later the watch is fixed and on my wrist. He tells me don’t worry about it, have a nice day. I say thank you, shook his hand, and left happy.

I came back with my watch because one of the little luminescent, hour markers fell off the face of the watch(!). Thomas was FANTASTIC and had the repair performed in a day! I’m pretty sure as I left, Jimmy was just getting in. I first corresponded with this business through Jimmy via Unilocal and this is the 3rd time this has happened. I wanted to thank him for his being a great owner of a great shop and to tell him that I have recommended Toluca Watch to any relevant person I encounter(even a few folks I overheard discussing watches). Thanks Thomas and Jimmy! P. S.MAKESURETOTAKE A LOOKATTHOMAS’ CUSTOM, USAMADE, LEATHERTRENCHWATCHBANDS! P. P. S. I recently found this 2009 article about them:

Since my uncle will never have Unilocal and still has an sbcglobal email for that matter, I’ve been asked to post this on his behalf because of his very timeless antique 4th generation watch being serviced here. Tommy was professional, passionate, prompt and overall just one of those guys you want to give your business to for the rest of your life. I would call ahead and make sure what you need can be done. We were actually turned down by a couple places in Burbank which landed us here thankfully.

I brought my Swiss Railways Watch for a new battery. The watch had never been opened until Toluca Watch opened it and told me they didn’t carry that battery. Right then the repairman/salesman started aggressively pushing an expensive Israeli copy of a Tag Heauer. He was opening my Swiss watch with a screwdriver, and he became very upset when I told him that I did not want to buy his watch. He fooled around with my watch for a few seconds. So, I took my watch back and left the store. An hour later I brought my watch to another local jeweler for the right battery. They had the right battery, but informed me that the battery contacts had been removed from my watch! Eerie … UPDATE: Jimmy, You clearly have no idea who I am, by your own response. In fact, no one was in the store that day except for me and the aggressive salesman. Please refrain from personal, ad-hominem attacks, especially when you mis-identify a customer.

Full servicing of my vintage Rolex a couple years ago, worked beautifully ever since. They were even able to find a rare vintage original dial in rose gold for me. Wow, what a difference! The original dial is much more elegant, they have a wonderful eye when it comes to timepieces. I had an issue with my crown falling out today, went to the store and they fixed it for me on the spot as a courtesy. They even remembered me and the watch work they did years ago. They are the best, you won’t be disappointed in the care and attention to details. Thank you very much, gentlemen! The very best!

Professional, courteous and quick! I brought in my watches(4 total) to have them resized and batteries replaced. They took care of them while I went and grabbed a coffee across the street and changed the times to the correct time on all 4 watches — I know I could have done that myself, but, it’s the little things that make businesses stand out for me. I will never take my watches anywhere else. Thank you for going the extra mile — I appreciated it very much!

This place is awesome. The guy that runs it is super cool and friendly. He made a great job adjusting and changing the batteries on 3 of my watches, was super polite. I would definitely recommend this place.

Both Jimmy and Thomas are among the most professional and courteous watchmakers and businessmen I have ever met. From the way they answer their phone calls to how they help you out in store and address all your questions with honesty, these guys are really and truly the best around. Highly recommended! Oh and they have a great selection of watch accessories like NATO straps etc. Come check em out

I had four links added to my Nixon watch for $ 15. This took less than five minutes but I felt I was being haggled. The guy said he would change five links for me for $ 15 but then only changed four and still charged me $ 15. I’d go somewhere else next time.

I walked in with five watches, four of them needed batteries. Two of them I tried to open and change myself and thankfully gave up early. One of them hadn’t run in nearly a decade. The fifth was a longshot in need of repair.(The crown broke off…) Four out of five had new batteries and were all set correctly, and under $ 65. Fantastic! The one that needed repair I’ve left with them, but it really sounds like Tom knows exactly what to do. The clown that sold it to me would have epoxied the part back on.(And yes, that shop has *epoxied* metal parts that should have been joined by a screw…) Tom & Jimmy were incredibly nice and forthcoming, and I now have a place to go that I can rely upon for anything watch related. A+++++++!!!

After seeing some stellar reviews on here. I went here looking for a new strap for my watch. I take a second to look over the entire place(there is a lot going on in there) and then ask Jimmy what strap he thinks would look good on it. Now I already knew what I wanted to get, but I wanted to see what he thought. So he grabs(without me telling him) the exact strap I was looking for. He’s gotta be telepathic. Then asks if I’d like to see it on the watch, and in about ten seconds he pops off the old one and slips on the new. He showed me the best way to wear the strap and was even telling me things about my watch that I didn’t even know. It’s very obvious that he has a passion for watches and for running his business. He has around two hundred different watch straps, so if you’re looking for something to change up your look. This is hands down the only place you should ever look. For his customer interaction he is amazing. I was asking him about his favorite watch that he sells. It happens to be the one he was wearing, and he was cool enough to slip it off and show me the case back so I actually see the movement of the watch. When all was done and paid for he even slipped my old watch strap into a small plastic ziploc bag so that I wouldn’t lose it. I’m going to go back and replace the straps on my other watches here, because the quality of the products, service, and knowledge are second to none.

I absolutely love this little store! Great and timely service(lol) and it’s so conveniently located close to work. The place simply reminds me of an art Form that has been almost forgotten in this day and age. I will most certainly frequent this establishment.
