Richard helped me certifying few documents before, and it was okay as i only needed it once. That’s why when i first saw these comments, i thought that it is just business competitors. When Richard«the owner of the business» made his«comment», it wasn’t professional at all and his only response was that they are bad competitors, but, unfortunately, i discover that it is all true. Your offices are virtual offices and anyone can easily search google to make sure, unless you think that Google is also one of your«jealous competitors». You change your prices from one site to another, and i don’t talk about just few bucks, as it could vary up to $ 100, and this is unfair for your customers. I think that you should better benefit from these comments to enhance your business, instead of blaming your competitors. Every business has to deal with competition, but the customer experience is what makes the difference. One more thing for Unilocal Admins, why you have filtered such important reviews, it might not be important for me as i just certified a birth certificate and i could have easily issued another copy if it was lost. But if someone has an important document, i think that he has the right to know that his documents will be rotated through mail.

Richard was helpful and responded to my emails and calls timely. I needed to get my cousin’s birth certificate authenticated for Ethiopia — this required few steps(authentication from LA county registrar then from Los Angeles Secretary of state — then it needed to be sent to Washington DC for a couple more authentications from the state and embassy). Spoke to Richard and I was told it will take about ~3 weeks and the charge would be over $ 900… honestly I didn’t mind paying what he’d asked but the time frame was just too long that I needed to find another way :) called another person who recommended I take the document to the Registrar and secretary of State myself(since I live in LA) — I took an afternoon off from work and went to get the authentications done — everything took about two hrs(including the 30 min drive in traffic) –Richard quoted the prices for these two authentications $ 275 and $ 195 — I paid $ 20 for each :) and I’m sure the other two charges will be around the same($ 20-ish) … ending the total cost in less than $ 200 :) there is def a benefit if they do all of the work for you, if your document is not time sensetive and if you live out of the country/state … but if you live in the city that you want to get this done … i suggest you do it yourself …
