I used them to make post cards to send out as thank yous for my wedding gifts. I was thrilled with the price (about $ 50 for 75 cards — cheaper than anywhere I had found). But when I got them, they were nothing like what I had expected. First, they are not normal «postcard» size. They are 5“x7″ — which looks huge when its a close up of us. But besides them being extra large & weird looking, I just got back from the post office to get stamps for them, & I had to get regular stamps. I couldn’t get postcard stamps (32 cents vs. the usual 44 cents) because they are too large. They also do not feel like postcard paper, they have a glossy back that makes it hard to write without smearing. It is basically just a 5×7 photo, which I could have had made at Costco for half the price.
I am very frustrated, & would have expected a printing store to give me normal 4×6 postcards when I said «postcards.» The look is not wanted, & now the price is not as great a deal as I thought it would be originally.
If you choose them, make sure you know exactly what you’re getting, & try to get a sample before the bulk of them.
