Love the special Turkey burger! It’s real rich, juicy, and full with flavors, doesn’t feel like I’m eating greasy burger(not that grease burger is always bad), but it feels like I’m eating real healthy and fresh meal! Special comes with fries, but it can be substituted with sweet potato fries with $ 1.50 extra. They are real friendly and nice service too! I asked to split burger in half and they actually gave us two plates with half burgers! Extra extra browny points for them to have sriracha sauces!!! Ps: this lady named Miranda was real friendly and provided us with great service!

I don’t know how I missed this place… Probably because I’m rarely ever in Burbank. I went to the Grain Lab for lunch. I ordered the tofu bowl with quinoa, a side of sweet potato fries, and a watermelon lemonade to wash it all down. I would have gone for their steak or chicken, but, honestly, none of the pictures on Unilocal made them look particularly juicy and tempting. The tofu was prepped on the griddle, so it had a decent skin on it. They also served grilled veggies(cubed squash and carrots) at the bottom of the bowl. The veggies were grilled lightly, but the carrot still had quite a bit of a bite to it. They drizzled sauce on the bowl(thankfully, they were really light-handed). Overall, it was a hearty meal. The sweet potato fries were nothing special(just your ordinary, run of the mill sweet potato fries)… BUTTHEAVOCADOPESTO!!! So yum… It was creamy and rich thanks to the avocado but with a slight kick and a refreshing aftertaste. So yummy… The watermelon lemonade was a bit too bland… I’m thankful that they didn’t drown it in sugar, but it just didn’t have enough of the watermelon flavor. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in Burbank next, but when I do, I know where I’ll be dining~!! Unless, of course, In n’ Out beckons…

Excellent food and service. Right now I’m eating their steak salad. It is the best steak salad I’ve ever had! Everything that I’ve tried is great. They always want to give you a good experience as such their customer service is perfect. I come here at least once a week and not once have I been disappointed. Food is fresh, ingredients for each meal are appropriately portioned and their recipes are on point. 5⁄5 Eat here!

Amazing spot. I love the Cobb and I add salmon. It’s my favorite soup/salad/sandwich spot because it’s REAL food. The meat is freshly cooked so it’s none of this cold pre-cooked chicken or anything on your salads. It’s basically sit down restaurant quality food for counter-place price. I’m a foodie but a health nut and I live in Burbank, so I go at least twice a week! :)

This is the BESTCAFE I have been to in Burbank… Wow. I am really picky and from the service to the yummy food — I am more than impressed ! I had the turkey burger and OHMYGOD ! The caramelized onions were to die for and the turkey patty itself was a white meat with spices and looked handmade. My boyfriend had the protein wrap although he was skeptical about it being filling — to his surprise — it was very filling and could barley finish the mouth watering sweet potato fries !!!

Unilocal wins again! Looked for a dinner spot within hotel walking distance on a trip to Burbank. Had the Grain Lab Turkey sandwich and sweet potato fries. The fries were piping hot and delicious, and served with an avocado pesto dip good enough to eat with a spoon. The turkey sandwich was equally delicious, as was the side salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Quality ingredients, beautifully prepared. And attentive service, too! Will be back next time I’m in the area.

Yes, parking is a pain in the ass(Park by Tilly’s and cross the street, get some cardio geez). My first time here and I went with the Chicken protein bowl. Chicken was tossed with kale, zucchini, onion and eggplant. Too healthy for my taste lol. I ate the chicken and veggies but warm kale was just not my cup of tea. I added sriracha to give it more flavor. I ordered a side of sweet potato fries which I loved and def going back to try the salads and Ahi bowl. Service was fast, fresh and friendly.

Hope you’re totally with every sandwich coming totally as is, because if you need a modification, not happening! Everything is finely chopped and spliced into each other. Summary of the conversation I’ve just had: «Could I please get the turkey pretzel sandwich, no onions?» «The onions are finally chopped into it, you can’t remove them. But you can’t even notice the onion.» «No, onions make me sick, I can’t eat onions. Could I instead have the protein wrap, no marmalade?» «We can’t remove the marmalade.» And so forth for about two or three more menu items. Why would you build your menu/food like this? This is Los Angeles, people are super picky here and have lots of made-up allergies. This is so stupidly irritating, and my office only wants to order from here. There is one sandwich that I did order, it was… okay. I was looking forward to the side salad, but guess what? It’s literally just a limp handful of old, slimy greens and nothing else. You are the worst, Grain Lab.

Perfect lunch spot. First time there today. The staff was very friendly and the young man helping my mom and I explained how the menu works very well. They are a little pricier that most fast casual restaurants but the food is definitely worth it. There are so many options to choose from on their menu including the drink menu. I recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for something new and different to eat!

Although not a fan of the location(Empire Center) which can be crazy and impossible to park, Grain Lab did not disappoint. I got the ahi tuna bowl, which was flavorful and delicious. In addition I had the sweet potato fries with avocado-basil dipping sauce(a must have). Very quaint and appealing interior, clean and friendly. Would recommend.

Once you got over how incredibly difficult it is to find this place amid all the other restaurants and department stores in the shopping center, you’ll be happy you stopped by. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and will answer all your questions. I tried the special of the day which was beef bowl with sautéed vegetables and brown rice. The beef was SO good I’m drooling just thinking of it. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Tried and true lunch spot for the Burbank area, I would come here every day if it wasn’t such a bank account drain(delicious, but just a tad on the pricey side). My favorite go-tos are definitely the Pork Belly Bowl(I tend to think this portion is big enough for two lunches in a row as long as I have a granola bar/handful of goldfish in the afternoon), and the Combo where you can pick(almost) any ½ sandwich and any side/soup to go with it. Has made me try lots of different menu items and I’ve never been disappointed. The restaurant itself is generally pretty cramped during the lunch rush(not a lot of waiting room for pickup orders), but I’ve always been able to get a table if I wanted one. A handful of outdoor options as well. Free cucumber water at the drink station is not to be missed! I’m also thoroughly impressed with their mobile app. Seamless order & payment process and it’s always ready in the quoted time.

Really decent fast healthier food. Love the fresh juices and salad options. Wasn’t totally blown away by the food but it’s somewhere I wouldn’t mind eating again. I got the kale salad with lemon olive oil dressing and ended up needing more lemon and the person I was with got the sweet potato burger and sweet potato fries. The pesto avocado dip makes those fries. That was so yummy. Didn’t have a terrible time parking but it took a few minutes of driving around.

We came here for lunch the other day. It’s one of the few healthier restaurant options located at the Empire Center. The inside is nice and clean and the people working there are nice and take their time to make recommendations. I ordered their seared ahi tuna bowl. It was delicious. My boyfriend got the steak salad, while the steak was on the drier side, he enjoyed the salad. It was a nice satisfying, full meal without over-splurging on calories. I will be back!

Good healthy options which is a plus, but the food is just not as satisfying as other healthy options. FOOD: Chicken Protein Bowl(3 stars): Didn’t have as much chicken as I expected. I forgot how many ounces of chicken they told me was in it but I remember measuring it and it was under. The flavor of this just wasn’t that great. Lentil soup(4 stars): Good soup. Lots of lentils and a little kick of spice. Protein Wrap(3 stars): The good thing about this is all the protein you get. Problem was that my wrap fell apart so easily! Tried to pick it up and everything fell out. They put way too much sauce or marinade in it so you only taste that 1 flavor. PARKING: Hate parking in this area. Gets so busy, especially at lunch time! Call ahead to order if you’re in a rush cause it takes awhile.

I love this health freak fast food joint! Like what my mother describes it, «McDonald’s health conscious food.» Today I have tried their protein bowl. It’s basically the traditional bowl specifically kale salad and your choice of protein. I decided to do chicken and add tofu and the tofu was on point. The chicken was a bit bland but a mixture of both protein balances the flavor. I also got a free side of my choice and I got the sweet potato fries with avocado pesto dip and that was delicious. Thanks for my birthday month and member of the five star rewards for the free side of my choice! In the past I have tried the chicken pesto sandwich, kale salad, and the bbq sandwich. All entrees are oh so delicious! Oh and don’t forget to try their fresh juices. It’s a must try every now and then aside from your fresh water.

So we’ve all been there. You’re not an L.A. local, you walk by a place and it’s called… «Health Nut,» or «Body Factory,» or «Life as a Vegetable,» or «Beach Bodies Unite,» or «Gluten Free Forever,» or «Ooo La Los Angeles,» or «Green Roads,» or «Come Here to Avoid GMO,» or «Grain Lab»… And you’re like… Yuck! That is SO L.A. And I thought that when I saw this place… But I was wrong! Or I mean… I was right, but in the best way! It’s healthy! It’s delicious! It’s what people in the Middle East don’t realize they’re missing when they go to Waffle Hut!(Review pending) The protein wrap is amazing. I’m addicted. It’s my post gym go to meal and it’s so savory and yummy. I recently tried the buffalo chicken(made into a wrap) and that was sooooo good! Many awesome people work there, one young lady in particular, Jasmine, is a delight. She was fun and helpful and so kind to my friend and I! Everyone I’ve met working here is eager to please; the food is great, they have almond water and watermelon juice!!! Yum! Love it! Love it s’much! 5 stars! 10 points! 60 giggles!

O M G. Do NOT order the ahi tuna bowl. I should have known when it said«experimental» special of the week. Was it and experiment to give people disgusting fish and see how many asked for their money back? It’s grey people! Grey tuna! It was fishy, totally not fresh. The worst part is I specifically asked the guys at the register and they said«oh no it’s good you will like it.» YIKES!!! I wish I could have gone back with this bowl but I was already back at work when I opened it. Ugh. So gross. Money down the drain.
