Great«produce bar». Could easily get a 3 course meal just from that. Or you can add it to a meal for 4.99(that’s what I did) I highly recommend trying it out! Staff is friendly and happy. Nice and cool here too. Happy hour 3-close! Oh, make sure you ask for the cheese bread(complimentary) very good and addicting!

Outback Steakhouse is DEADTOUS! The new manager at the 1761 N Victory Pl in Burbank location is disgusting and dirty and a terrible person, in general, and the sleaziest restaurant manager I have ever encountered! Read THAT review here:
The silver lining here — IFTHATOUTBACKLOCATIONHADN’T STARTEDSUCKINGSOBADLY — I would not have found MYNEWFAVORITEPLACE! CLAIMJUMPERON3500WESTOLIVEAVEINBURBANK. We have been going to CLAIMJUMPERON3500WESTOLIVEAVEINBURBANK for the past few months now and IT’S BETTERTHANOUTBACKCOULDEVERTRYTOBE — EVENTHEBESTOUTBACKLOCATIONONITSBESTDAY. Yes, Claim Jumper costs a little more, but you get OHSOMUCH for your money!!! Even the croutons on their salads are SUPERB! Seriously? Croutons? OHYES!!! I never in my life would think I could compliment a CROUTON, but YES! YOUHAVETOTRYTHECROUTONS! And their sides are so much better than any other steakhouse I’ve ever tried. OH, and if you want to splurge and get the Chocolate Motherload Cake(which we did because it was our anniversary and there was no way in hell we were giving Outback another chance!), I PROMISEYOUWILLNOTBEDISAPPOINTED! We had to get the cake to go because we were so stuffed from the best steak meal we had ever had, and the box that they put the cake in was like a large shoe box! This direct quote from their menu is SPOTON: six decadent layers of chocolate cake and rich chocolate fudge icing, topped with walnuts. featured on the food network as one of America’s «top 5 most decadent desserts». As for this location: This is the most beautiful Claim Jumper location I’ve seen so far — the view of the mountains from here is AMAZING and they really got lucky with this location — the building itself is VERYFANCY and the interior does not disappoint. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and CLASSY. There are always at least 2 other people — besides your server — who check on you to make sure you’re being well taken care of. I have to say, everything really does happen for a reason. If this Outback location at 1761 N Victory Pl in Burbank hadn’t tanked in such a huge way, we never would have been forced to look for a real steak elsewhere. So, thank you, Outback! You’ve helped us find the best steak we could ever ask for and SOMUCHMORE! Sorry for you that you’ve lost us — and hopefully others who read this review — to a MUCHMOREDESERVING establishment!

Came here because not much selection close by and Claim Jumpers normally offer a good variety. Bar was a mess, took 10 minutes before anyone noticed a man in a suit at the bar was thirsty. Ordered 1 drink and was thinking about dinner but when they turned up the TV to hear Hillary Clinton’s speech that was it for me!!! Yep, just what most people want: be ignored and pummeled with a political speech.

Nothing here impressed any of us. The food was incredibly mediocre and completely overpriced. Just a 20 minute drive into Hollywood and you could’ve gotten a far superior meal for the same price. It’s an American version of Olive Garden– nothing fancy nothing that stands out. Each meal lacked flavor. I wouldn’t recommend it. The only thing that was decent was the service, and even with that we had to wait for a table simply because the hostess wasn’t at the entrance and she didn’t greet us in the manner that she should have. Our server, however, was above decent.

The place was pretty slow. We showed up at about 5:15PM. We showed up early to beat the Friday night crowd for my wife’s birthday. We approached the reception podium only to be ignored. I said hellooo and got aknowledged without any kind of sense of making us feel welcomed.(the manager was one of them) We got seated promply and that was it. We were forgotten. I finally got up and went to the bar or we were not getting any drinks. My wife made eye contact with a waiter and he figured out we were not happy. He came over and apologized for the poor service. He took over even though it was not his table which was nice but he too lacked attention to his table. We did get a Happy Birthday cake for the wife which was nice but that was a story within itself. We asked for a to go box and got one. No bag but a box. We asked at reception for a bag and once again the manager handed us one and did not as much as make eye contact. The manager was the worst! We will not be back.

I am a patron of Claim Jumper in Burbank, CA. When I found out it was an umbrella of restaurants that included McCormick & Schmicks in Seattle, I finally joined the Landry’s Select Rewards Club. And I’ve made some good memories there. Yesterday, I wanted a nice dinner. So I went to Claim Jumpers. The new manager was insistent on me having Happy Hour instead of a regular dinner. He made made me seat myself and gave me the regular menu too. Where’s Justin? I was glad to see two familiar faces: waitress and server. Everyone else on the staff appeared new to me. They did their job, however… the service lacked friendliness. Okay, I ordered from the Happy Hour Menu. I sipped on a screwdriver and lemon water. The waitress forget the lemon for my water and balanced lemon wedges on a toothpick from the bar to my lounge table. I’m still laughing. Anyways, the beer-battered onion rings with ranch dressing was simply amazing. The steak chili with cheese was not American chili topped with cheese. I was disappointed to see a small bowl of melted cheese mixed with a few bits of tomato-pepper and swirled with a watery chili sauce served with nachos. Culture shock on me: people love this… What!!! And so, I added an order of the grilled fish street tacos. It was al fresco. I liked it. Then, I think… I came here for a good old American dinner. What am I consuming!!! Claim Jumper has always been a five-star dining experience even on the HH Menu. And then, I try their happy hour this Wednesday night. It was cheaper than dinner and filling, however, not satisfying. I had a tummy-ache afterwards. My recommendations on the HH Menu includes holding parties with it. Also eating wise… I recommend: artichoke dip, lemon-pepper zucchini, pretzels, coconut shrimp, burger, any of the drinks.

We arrived 40 minutes before closing to be told they are no longer seating guests for the night .we drove 25 miles to celebrate our sons birthday here, we later called and asked the manager why they stop seating so early, he replied they would seat us until 10 no problem. I guess the people at the front desk decide at their own discretion when they will stop serving people. Not acceptable for a big chain restaurant like this needless to say we won’t be returning

This place is nothing special. I’ve been to other Claim Jumpers that were much better. We sat in the bar section for drinks and appetizers. The drinks were watered down and the food was just ok. The service was ok as well. Not great, but not terrible either. I’m pretty sure I will not be returning to this location. Nothing to really recommend about it.

Found this place on a happy hour app that I can’t remember using the iPhone. The first time I came here, we were waited on by Ashley. I highly recommend that you ask for her because she was extremely polite, had a positive attitude when we inquired about their menu, and checked on us Inna timely manner. She needs a promotion because she exceeded my customer service expectations. Great first impression here. Oh and the place looks amazing with their setup and HAPPYHOURDURINGTHEWEEKBEGINSAT3ALLYHEWAYUNTILPAST10P. YOUCANTBEATIT! I’ve returned about 5 times now and they have other locations in the LA surrounding areas. I went to the one in Northridge and it was great as well. Highly recommend this place and what a first impression.

If you are looking for a place with something on the menu that everyone can enjoy, or a good happy hour spot, this place is a great choice. There is an underground parking garage right next to this building, and they will validate your ticket so your parking should only be $ 2. When you walk in the place is very spacious with high ceilings, and there is open seating in the bar area, which is where I sat both times I’ve come here. If you’re coming for Happy Hour, it’s only served in the bar area. One of the best parts about this place is their affordable happy hour menu with plenty of choices and — it goes from 3pm until close! Items on the menu are anywhere from $ 2-$ 10. The service has been very friendly and timely both times I’ve dined here. I’ve only been here for happy hour(and for good reason, the prices are just awesome!). I have ordered their Small Caesar Salad($ 3) The Loaded Skins($ 5), and the Happy Hour Sampler($ 10) which is Buffalo Wings, Three Cheese Potatocakes, Loaded Skins & Mozzarella Sticks. There is nothing particularly special about any of the food. It’s what you would expect from a place like this. Sort of like an Applebee’s. But, if you need a place to go with a group for drinks ad apps it’s a great choice. Drink wise I’ve tried some of their wines and a moscow mule. Nothing too memorable, but again it’s more about the great prices. Check it out for happy hour! I also hear they have a brunch which I will eventually check out as well.

Disappointing. Up-charges on substitutions. Manager didn’t accommodate ANYTHING on prices, even when I asked. AND they were under renovation which looked like crap. Food was good but in LA you go out for ambiance just as much as food:)

My wife and I haven’t been in a Claim Jumper in so many years ago last time we were in a Claims Jumper was in the city of Industry it be closed for a long time. We went to the Claim Jumper in Burbank company a good friend we know and her friend for dinner. I haven’t this part of Burbank in so many years so many changes especially. Claim Jumper it have dramatically change since we dine at Claim Jumper, the big portions are the same and also their classic dishes. One thing is gone is the Western theme I remember but they kept some to blend in the new and classic décor. We order the Lemon zucchin and my wife order the chicken fried chicken and I order the Widow Maker burger. My friend and her friend both order the ribeye steak. The server brought us the Lemon zucchini it was really good we enjoy it and then they brought my Widow Maker burger with fries. The Widow Maker was incredible good so many flavors it was hard to describe but was so good. The fries very good with great flavors I really enjoy it. My wife enjoy her chicken fried chicken it was so delicious tender and juicy. I gotta to the chicken it was good but my wife and I agree the batter was little bit salty overall chicken was delicious. My friend and her friend enjoy their ribeye steak.

We were In the neighborhood so we went to this Claim Jumper. It was getting late, but it is open till 9pm. Got lucky with parking on the street right at the front door. Not too many patrons inside. We got seated and were served immediately. We kind of knew the CJ menu and I will just describe what I ordered. I opted for the favorite Chopped Steak with tomato and cheese topping and a dollop of the Mashed potato. I was given the choice of one trip thru the salad bar or soup. The salad bar was the way to go, but I better hurry cause they are starting to pack things up and cleaning the restaurant. Was it that late… the chopped steak was unfortunately well done and had grilled onions under the cheese… I specifically decided against the onions… oh well, since the mashed potato came DRY(no gravy), I used the onions to wetten the potato. Thank goodness for the salad bar. It was actually my best meal for the night. I have to admit that the lady that served us was pleasant and a big Angels baseball fan. She kept us entertained with lots of historical knowledge about the game. The check came quickly as we decided to skip dessert and after payment didn’t see any waitstaff or bartenders. It was time to go as in the other section of the restaurant the chairs were already placed on the table. Edwardo was the last man there and he wished us a good night as we were escorted out to the front door. A so so experience because of the late night visit.

I know it’s a chain, and being such you know what to expect, but I won’t lie. I REALLY like it! Good food(made from scratch every day they say), good drinks, great service every time, and awesome desserts make this one of my favorites. Let’s not forget pleasant music & atmosphere also help, and the fact they are all so nice to my son is right up there. So I like chain restaurants, there’s worse thing on this earth…

In love with their Happy Hour menu. I had never gone to Claim Jumpers before working in the area. Their Happy Hour, which starts at 3PM and ends at closing, has a great selection of well drinks, beers and wines, as well as food items. It ranges from $ 3-$ 8! I came with some coworkers after work and we ordered the steak nachos, the Burger(With delicious shoestring fries) and a few beers. Will definitely be coming back to wait out the traffic when it gets too bad.

Typical claim jumper food. This time around, I got the meatloaf and one trip to the salad bar. For the table, we started off with the fried zucchini and their complimentary cheese bread. The cheese bread was so good. I wanted to ask for more, but decided against it. The fried zucchini was delicious. The batter was light and crispy. Claim jumper, as many already know, has big portions. After my one trip to the salad bar, I could not even touch my meatloaf. The salad bar surprisingly had a good amount of options to choose from including pasta, jello(I think), and more. When I finally had the chance to eat the meatloaf, it was moist and flavorful. The garlic mashed potatoes were well seasoned and fluffy. Our server, Nancy, was excellent. She checked up on us often and refilled our drinks. She was very witty and funny.

Well, to be honest if you’ve been to one Claim Jumper you pretty know what to expect quality of food wise that is. Service is harder for a corporate restaurant to control, but fortunately I’ve never been disappointed with a Claim Jumper visit. Their portions are huge and their food is cooked well, with affordable, prices. Weekdays they have lunch specials for about $ 10 – 12 that always leave me stuffed. It’s very similar to TGIF’s except I find Claim Jumper better in food and tastiness. I usually get the chicken pot pie or the grilled tenderloin tips, and they never disappoint. They also have a decent happy hour menu, which has different prices on the food, varying from $ 5-$ 6 items like Wings, Nachos, Coconut Shrimp, and Calamari. They also serve a fully loaded«Widow Maker» Burger with shoestring fries for $ 10 though I haven’t tried that yet and don’t know if I will. Overall, a great place for lunch or happy hour if there’s one in your area. Pro-TIP: They have free WiFi. Just ask for the password, which looks to be standard across all the Claim Jumpers.

I found this place on a humbug looking for a decent chicken pot-pie. This pot-pie is MASSIVE. It has very good flavor and very hearty. The crust has just the right amount of thickness to be filling but not«bready» at the same time. I would NOT suggest you eat this by yourself and if you do opt-in to do so you probably wanna save some of this for lunch… Thats how filling it is. Only thing that I dislike about this pot-pie is the price. This chicken potpie will cost you $ 18 and some change but does come with a cup of fruit(usually melon, cantaloupe, grapes) and your choice of a salad or soup.

Went for my cousin’s baby shower and celebrated in a private room. The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful, they were on point and professional. There were a few hick ups in the bill, for instance, we weren’t charged happy hour prices, but we pointed that out and they changed that right away! I love their Chinese Chicken Salad, it’s actually one of the best I’ve had in a while. I’d compare it to Chin Chin’s Chinese Chicken Salad in Beverly Hills, except this one didn’t have mandarin oranges, which I didn’t mind. The Widow Maker burger is also good. I’m not crazy about their shoestring fries, they’re a little too salty for my taste and too thin. The grilled chicken breast was a little too over burnt and dry… Parking is available on the street, as always read the signs carefully, and validated parking in the underground garage.

The Service: Bartender, Jack, is fantastic! Super nice and sweet~ Very attentive too! Excellent customer service! Great place to watch sports at the bar. Lots of seating. The Food: Spinach salad — Salad dressing is a little too much, especially olive oil. Food portion is ok. Artichoke dip — Lots of chips, the dip is very creamy. Will definitely order again. The Parking: Street parking(free)
