3.5 Stars but I can round up. For a chain pizza place, they actually make a pretty decent pie. The reason I came here was that I had a gathering of 20 some people at my house and figured one of their huge pizzas would likely be enough food. It was, and it was really big! In fact, I wasn’t really able to fit it through a doorway at my house so I had to angle it(which the pizza sorta slid around and became a bit of a mess) It was a crowd pleaser though and everyone enjoyed the pizza. Plus we had a more leftovers than I anticipated. This pizza makes great leftovers. It heats up and tastes pretty good even 3 days later! Ingredients were fresh(I saw them make the pizza from scratch — more on that later) and they had a great amount of cheese on the pizza. Not overwhelming, but I feel like a lot of places skimp out on cheese. The sauce(or gravy as they say in Italy) on the pizza is also pretty good. The two beefs I had with my experience here that lower it to 3.5: 1. When i called the order in, the woman on the other end wasn’t really the sharpest tool in the shed. I had to repeat things several times. Then she told me I was breaking up and asked if I could call back from a landline. I was on a landline. In fact, I was on a Cisco IP Phone. 2. When I came to get my order at the time we agreed to: no pizza. Somehow the order was overlooked. I ordered their biggest pizza. That’s quite the oversight. They profusely apologized and got the pie going right away, but I had planned the pickup of the pizza as the event was starting and had a bunch of hungry people waiting for me. They also compensated me for their mistake and it was very generous. Back to number one, while I was waiting for my pizza to be made, the same woman was on the phone with a customer and told them they were breaking up. Just guessing… maybe it’s time for a new phone?! I’ll be getting more pizza from here.

Simply the best pizza in the town. They’re very busy so make sure to order before you walk in for pickups. For dinning in the wait is normal. Also try their gandolas. Tastyyyyyyy.

My wife and I were craving Italian food and found this place on line. The workers here(Mesrop, Artin and Hasmik) were very friendly, inviting and patient with us while we decided exactly what we wanted. We ultimately decided on the spaghetti and meatballs, which was exceptionally delicious!!! They even put the sauce on the side for my wife! The portions were huge, but the food was so delicious that we all but licked the plate! I was also able to order a glass of cabernet sauvignon which was excellent! We’ll be back real soon!

This is by far the BEST pizza in Southern California. Crispy crust, fresh ingredients. It is mouth watering. I have been eating at Big Mammas in Burbank for close to 15 years. My dad is from New York and he knows good pizza and he loves it here when he’s in town. They also have a large selection of beers.

Great food good quality and ambiance for everyone … I would normally give a 5 star review but this time I will give only 4 because they have remodeled the seats and to be honest they are very cold and uncomfortable plus the service yesterday was not how normally is: good or amazing … I hope to comeback with a different answer soon.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for a long time, I’ve been a customer since they first opened here. I live right around the corner so it is convenient to grab a pizza and beer and watch a game. The quality of the pizza has really declined over the last year or two, and the service is really bad. We like to order and eat in the bar, and the staff all have really poor manners. They act like they don’t want anyone sitting in their bar. So we quit going. We finally started going to Rico’s, which is right up the street. The pizza is delicious and the service is good. In fact, I wrote them a nice review and someone responded right away to say thank you. That’s what prompted me to write this review. So go to Rico’s instead! All around better deal.

Big Mamas Papas Pizzeria is close to my house, so often go there. Very tasty cooked, especially recommend the gondola with two eggs for Adjara. I recommend for those who like to eat is not really thinking about the little things not related to culinary matters. Bön Appetit!!!

I had a wonderful experience ordering a few 36-inchers for a party and was very much helped and appreciated by manager Albert, who took the time to go over everything with me and provide EXCELLENT customer service. Businesses should take a lesson from Albert because he made me feel so appreciated and valued I was singing Big Mama’s & Papa’s all night! The delivery driver was also super helpful and friendly! What a wonderful establishment. Thank you! I will be back!

I don’t know why I always give this spot my business. The last time I ordered from here I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for pizza that was definitely NOT worth the price. That’s a description of most of my experiences with this place. Yet, I decided to call again. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes. Always a waste of time. Now I’m hungry & cranky.

Got delivery locally in Burbank for Oscar night. Look, the place is expensive. And it’s just not worth it. The pizza was cooked in an oven that is too hot so the cheese separates and becomes super greasy and chewy. The steak sandwich my friend got was apparently OK but not worth $ 12. His side of fries had 7 in it, which is probably for the better. Expensive is OK if it’s delicious. $ 40 for 13″ 1-topping pizza, a sandwich, and a 6-pack of cans(delivered) is expensive. But this wasn’t delicious. Go to Rico’s down the street.

My husband and I drove were driving around town to look for a place to eat and this place looked pretty decent so we decided to have lunch here with the kids. The workers here were very friendly and inviting. The cashier warned us that the pizza slices came in big portions which was nice of her. I got the Margarita pizza slice and it was amazing. It came with fresh tomatoes, basil, and ricotta cheese in a thin crust. The slice was huge that they had to cut it in 4 pieces. We also got the meatballs for appetizer and it was absolutely amazing. I can’t speak for the pizza that my husband had since I didn’t taste it but he claims it was the best pizza he’s ever had. They also had a big selection of beer on tap.

I was hungry. It was pouring rain. This place was close. It’s not expensive. I’m in! It’s serviceable. The counter staff is super friendly and helpful while wading through the huge menu.

Good pizza, lousy service! I love the pizza and the location — great food and tons of seating. Service is awful. I was the only person waiting and it took ~4 minutes for a cashier to acknowledge me. Then I ordered a single slice of pizza, which took ~20 minutes. Maybe this kind of place isn’t made for dining in, but how slow the process was was very disappointing.

Came here to watch the Super Bowl. Thankfully plenty of tables open. Philly cheesesteak & curly fries average, buy nicely prepared & hot though. Semi-friendly service. And nobody came to my table to clear dirty plates.

Ordered delivery for lunch. We were in the mood for room temperature cold pizza with congealed oil on it, and this place delivered the goods! That’s sarcasm. Delivery was 20 min late, and it was obvious our food was the last to be delivered. What a waste of money and cheese.

We have ordered from this location in the past and have always had decent service however this most recent order experience was a disaster. We placed a large order $ 200+ for a major studio. We placed the order extra early 10:15am to ensure that it would be ready on time. We were given a delivery window of 11:45am-12:00pm which worked for us considering the half hour lunch break of the studio employees was to begin at 12 noon. The delivery was 15 min late meaning many employees were not able to eat and those that did eat, were not able to enjoy their food. We called twice to check on the status of our order and both times we were treated rudely. The second time we called we explained that the employees were missing their lunch break and we were told«we have other orders too» which was exceptionally rude. We also noticed that many of the items on the to go menu are no longer available. We also noticed that many of the employees seemed indifferent and the operation as a whole looked unorganized. Now I understand why they were so adamant that I tip in advance on the credit card slip… Lesson learned.

Pros: + Cool delivery guy + They have a cool pizza challenge with a cash prize Cons: — Pizza wasn’t very good The pizza was alright. Nothing special about the cheese, crust or toppings. We wanted to test and see how tasty it was because we were thinking about doing their huge pizza challenge. Based on the photos posted here it seems that there are very inconsistent. Our pizza was a bit dry and almost burned and I saw a few photos posted that looked similar to what we got and then saw other photos were the pizza looked amazing and nothing like the one we got! I kind of want to try going to the actual location instead of ordering delivery and see if I can get my hands on one of those tastier looking ones! They also have an egg gondola pizza that looks tasty. They supposedly also have the largest deliverable pizza(in the US?). This place seems like it is mostly known for its gimmicks rather than its food.

I was somewhat surprised when I saw that this location only had 3 stars. The pizza was excellent and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Maybe this had to do with the time of day that I went… I showed up with my wife and a friend at about 10:00pm and the lady behind the counter was wide awake and 100% ready to help us. We ended up getting a large pizza(half bbq chicken and half veggie). The BBQ chicken was amazing, and in hindsight I wish we would have had the entire pizza as BBQ chicken. It was covered in big pieces of chicken and fresh cilantro, and the dough was perfectly«foldable.» I haven’t tried the thin or thick crust, and I don’t think I will. The regular crust was perfect. This definitely seems like a great place to come with some friends, and I’ll be more than happy to try it again.

I am not sure why this place gets only 3 stars other than they hve a lot of haters!!! I almost never go to a pizza place and order a salad but I had to today! I was having major cravings for their Greek salad, which I had for the first time yesterday. There was a meter parking right in front today so I had to stop! The dressing has to be made with crack and feta and the dried tomatoes add such a nice flavor to the whole salad. This is hands down the best Greek salad I have ever had, the lettuce is so fresh and crispy and the olives have the right amount of tang and don’t get me started on the crispy red peppers wow!!! The Pizza here is also excellent I have had their slices and their regular ones. If you ever have a party their giant size is ideal!!! Their kapochori(egg gondolas) are also AMAZING! ESPECIALLYAFTER A NIGHTOFDRINKING. Don’t believe the bad reviews this place is good and their prices are reasonable.
