A true rip off of an operation. To be avoided. Demanded $ 170.00 in cash, at 11:00 PM, after being phone quoted less then $ 50.00. While discussing the matter he asked if i was Jewish. I am about to report them to the police. I had a bad feeling yesterday when the operator told me they would only charge $ 19 for a MEDECO lock, but I was rushing to find someone, so I made an appointment. The «technician» called immediately and began hedging on the amount (of course, the bid was ridiculously low) and said it would «depend on the condition of my door» etc, etc. I checked Unilocal and based on the other reviews, I called back the «technician» and cancelled the service appt right away. I immediately had six calls from the operator from the 800 number. Then this morning, they started again — ten calls in the last hour and two other messages from someone else from the service calling from another number telling me that I had an appointment this morning. I did NOT make another appointment. This is not business. This is extortion. I am so glad I cancelled. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST!

My phone quote was less than $ 60, but when they arrived and AFTER installing a new lock AND door nob they charged me $ 400, but shadier is that he said he’ll take $ 300 cash. Don’t go with these guys. The quote on the phone is bogus.
After voicing my disgust to them, there was no attempt at resolving the fact that I was screwed.

This place is shady. Avoid at all cost. I wish I could give it no stars. I am planning on reporting them to the BBB. I wished I had looked them up on Unilocal first but I didn’t and used stupid Angie’s list instead.
The phone quote was $ 29 for a visit, and $ 19 per lock. When the locksmith showed up, he tried to charge me over $ 200. Then, he had the audacity to try to charge me the service fee when I told him nicely to get the hell out.
