We do not live in Eagles Bluff but are social members. We absolutely love being members. They have so much to offer, even if you are not golfers. Really enjoy the Friday nights with live music and Thursday bingo nights. And tonight was absolutely one of the best meals ever! Love the new ownership that took over the end of last year. The staff is friendly and do a wonderful job. Thank you Eagles Bluff.

Eagles Bluff Country Club is a private club. All homeowners are members of the club. Additional members are drawn mostly from nearby communities. I have been both a homeowner and member here for the past seven years. When we moved here I would have given the club and course a 5 star rating, but under new ownership that occurred approximate five years ago the club and course degraded badly. It hit an all time low in June of 2014. At this time my rating would have been at best a 1 star. It was so bad that we decided to put our house for sale and move. Fortunately several members banded together in August of 2014 and bought the club. They have invested considerable funds in both renovation of the club and revamping of the golf course. This has not been an overnight process, but has made steady progress. Eagles Bluff has once again become a vibrant community with wonderful neighbors and club members. Today I would rate the club as a 4-star moving back to 5 stars.

The exterior is absolutely beautiful, the interior is very outdated, the staff is so unorganized(mostly paperwork) and unprofessional(especially Jay), the food is good and the golf course is in bad shape. Both of our families have traveled the world, we know great service and this country club will not successfully grow without major changes.

Pros: extensive, mature trees on all streets Pink lighted street lamps Quiet Clean Beautiful pool Nice enough golf course Good looking black steel yard gating Guard at the gate Leash law Nice looking country club-not outstanding Dish network/high speed internet. Satellite dishes allowed Gym next to pool . Houses all have attached double garages with most having attached golf cart garages. School bus pickup to good school system. Cons: Cutbacks include: No more free lemonade brought to you at pool by employees; no free July 4 buffet by pool; No more lunch menu handed to you at pool. Pool employees mostly gone now. Limited lunch/dinner menu. Fairly secluded, three miles to grocery store and Sonic and NO other places to eat /shop at that distance; Tap water is the worst I’ve ever had in my life. Had to buy an under sink water purifier=even for our dog. It even smells bad. No wood burning fireplaces allowed of any kind. No garage sales permitted. No clotheslines permitted. No gasoline golf carts allowed; only electric. Gym too hot in summer.
