Terrible customer service!
The lady doing my eyebrows was on her phone the whole time and then took a chunk out of one of my eyebrows and made it way too thin! And when I brought this up to her she proceeded to argue with me about it, saying that section was missing when I walked in! I will never be back and recomend you all do the same!

The eyebrow stylists rush in doing your eyebrows and do your shape how they please. I asked for a certain look and didn’t get it. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have someone constantly look over the work to ensure the shape you want.

When will I ever learn??? Let me just say, you get what you pay for. I had an interview in the next couple hours and I knew I couldn’t walk in with these werewolf brows I’ve been purposely been growing out for the last 6 months. I’d recieved a few quotes from some reputable brow artists in the area, but I just wasn’t in a position to pay $ 30 to have my brows shaped (now I wish that I had). In a rush decision I went to the closest brow place I could find, boy was that a mistake! I showed a picture of what I wanted to the lady doing my brows and I explained to her that I’d been growing them out because I wanted thick brows, and she acknowledged that she understood. In about 3 minutes she handed me a mirror and told me that she was done. Much to my shock, half of my eyebrows were gone and I was left with pencil brows, exactly what I didn’t want. Guess I’ll be growing them out for the next year and a half. Maybe it’s just not meant for me to have nice brows. My advice, do your research and if it costs more for someone who actually knows what they are doing, chalk it up and pay it.

I would give it 5 stars but when I got home I had to pluck quite a few that didn’t come off and as much as I know that Browns are sisters not twins I still would have had them at least the same shape one was round and the other pointy BUT that is how my brows grow so I still love it. Super fast, not painful, super cute, and super cheap! $ 10! Plus the $ 6 tip but they do work on your brow! The focal point of your face! Don’t mess it up! But my girl was Reena she will be me to-​go gal from now until forever!

I love this place and found my new eyebrow/​lip threading place. I found this place on Unilocal and I was in the area so decided to stop by. They are located near belk entrance to the mall. The ladies who work there are very nice, they do a good job, and fast! The price is good to at $ 10 for eyebrow and lip (but I get this waxed) for $ 8. This is my new go-​to eyebrow place and highly recommend.

Not reviewing the place, but the lady that works there. This last time I went, the lady cut off literally the whole front part of my eyebrow and when I asked her what she had done, she replied «she was making them even.» My eyebrows were «even» when I came in, so I didn’t understand. I showed her the big gaps she left in both of my eyebrows and she said nothing. I was almost in tears at the fact that my eyebrows had been chopped off. She asked me if everything was okay, when clearly it was not. She still made me pay and she said nothing to me as I was doing so. She offered no remorse and didn’t even apologize for the horrific job she had done. Another customer there saw my eyebrows and she was literally in aw at what the lady did. If you ever go here, do not go to a lady named Mitsuben. I am going to keep on going there, but never ever will I ever go to Mitsuben again. I recommend yall do not go to her unless you want her to make your eyebrows «even.»
***UPDATE: I recently went back and the ladies took care of me very well! They apologized for the bad service I received and even gave me my visit on them! I was very happy! I’m updating my review because I don’t want people thinking I gave them one star, when that is not the case at all! I love going there! It was just that lady that gave me horrible service. So please when you read my review do not think that this place is bad, because that is not the case at all.****

Got my eyebrows threaded here for the first time and I love this place. The lady was very polite and attentive. I just moved to buford and needed to find a new place and this is a great spot!

I love this threading lounge! I’ve been going here for a year and I won’t go anywhere else. Even when it’s busy they do a great job at getting everyone in and out. Please give Menal a visit! The entire is amazing as well.

For $ 10 dollars, you’ll get beautiful eyebrows with NO pressure of buying packages or additional services. Five stars!

Having just moved to the area, I was looking for a new place to get my eyebrows done. I used to get them waxed but I have very sensitive skin and get irritated easily. Since I moved close to the mall, I was looking for a new alternative and found The Arches. They are located on the second level next to Belk.
I had never tried threading before walking in.
I walked in and one of the girls acknowledged me, didn’t say anything but kind of smiled at me. I told her I was there to get my eyebrows done and after looking at me with a «duh» expression, just told me to wait. A couple of minutes later, another girl motioned me toward her chair to sit down. She didn’t say anything, just told me to hold my lid closed and my eyebrow taught. She then began the threading. It stung a bit. It is definitely not painless but not too painful either. It just hurts a little more than waxing since it is a repetitive motion, but it doesn’t leave the sting that waxing does after. It took a total of maybe 4 minutes for her to finish my brows. Then she showed me how they looked in a mirror and took me to the register to pay.
Overall, a good experience with the actual process. My brows were red for just half an hour, which is a huge improvement to my usual outbreak and redness for a few days with waxing. The girl I had was very good at it and my brows look great. I just wish they were a little more social. At least a proper greeting at the door would have been nice and maybe an explanation of the service. They don’t even ask you if you’ve done it before. All in all, I got what I paid for (which at $ 10 was a great price!) and my brows look great and I didn’t break out or stay red for hours. The pain is very tolerable and I would definitely try it again!

I normally get my eyebrows waxed and have done threating before. My GF and I were at the mall and I saw the place and decided to test it out. They were very fast and my eyebrows were very clean after i left. It took less than 5 minutes. Definately recommened this place.

So I wanted to try threading for my upcoming wedding. Waxing leaves me red and breaks out my skin. Process was quick, but those who say this is not painful either have a very high tolerance to pain or had a better tech than I did. Waxing is much less painful in my opinion. This is sharper pain and lasts longer as it takes them a while to do it. This is not something I would do if I had somewhere to go as I still have redness a few hours later. She barely said a word. Her only question was «Just a clean up?». I said yes and that was it. It was $ 10.00 for the brow. She did try to sell me on the lip as well, but I don’t need it so I said no. I guess can’t blame the gal for trying. The shape is very nice and looks clean. We will see if I get any breakouts like I do from waxing. If not, I will do it again.

This was a quick and painless alternative to waxing! The lady did a very nice job, although she was short on conversation — and beware she will try to sell you a ‘brow thickening oil’, it was relatively cheap ($ 15 for lip and eyebrows). There was no wait and I came in around 8:30 on a Monday evening.

I wanted to have beautiful eyebrows for my trip to Chicago, so I hit up The Arches while I was doing some mall shopping. I used to get my brows threaded all the time when I lived in DC, but it had been a while, so it hurt like hell — BUT, I feel like the process goes much faster than waxing, it doesn’t irritate my skin, and the results are much better and longer lasting. Brows and lip done for $ 15 and in less than 10 minutes — can’t beat it!

I’ve always wanted to try threading but have had a hard time finding a place in my area. So when I saw this place on a recent trip to the MOG, I HAD to try it! For $ 10 Saleema shaped my brows and made them so pretty! Husband was with me and was absolutely fascinated by the whole process. Does it hurt yes, but no more than waxing and it’s definitely more precise! I will definitely be going back!!!
