So after talking to Hertz on social media they refunded half of my rental cost. I am updating my review to reflect that.

I’m giving a big fat 1 star because there is no option for 0. And my star is based on the quality of their products, in this case their Cars. I would rate them higher if it was solely based on customer service I would rate them higher… The issue started at the airport when I rented a Mazda 6. I did not realize until I got to the hotel that the key-fob was non functional. And also noticed a note on the key-fob that said«front side tire goes flat»(why would you have such car on the lot?). I went to the nearest location on Satellite and swapped cars!(The guys at the counter was helpful and eager to help). Once I got in my «new» rental I notice that the seats were all wet… I guess the previous customer left the windows open so the seats got soaked. So I switched again to a new car and it was fine for the first day and next thing I know, the engine light comes up, a few minutes later the change oil sign shows up. At this point my image of Hertz its going down the drain. So took the car in and they sent me to another location where they had more cars. Hopefully the 4th will be the one. The only good thing(seriously) were the people working for them since each time the transition from one car to another was smooth and they did not give me any problems. My advise to Hertz is that your company needs to keep an eye on the products that are put out there for their clients, or they(«me») will not come back. That’s it for now.

The employees there were great. My issue was they required 300 deposit to rent a car. Thats absurd. And when i made my reservation online i wasn’t told about that so was not prepared. Enterprise charges 50 which is a lot more reasonable. However, i was able to get a 20% off ABN discount which saved me almost 20 bucks.
