The women that work in this store are helpful and interested in what you are sewing. They have beautiful fabrics and they are well organized by color as well as groupings to help you choose. I took three different quilting classes with Nancy and I was pleased with all of them.

This shop has it all. From quilting, to sewing, to embroidery. Georgia Sewing & Quilting is one of my FAVORITE quilt shops! Jeanne is so friendly and her staff are the most helpful ladies I’ve ever met! Plus, I’m always greeted with a warm smile and cheerful faces. Now, about the fabric… she stocks my favorite shadow play blender fabric and the best selection of children’s panels and books in the area. You’ll also find a great selection of the most recent fabric collections — brights, contemporary, traditional, flannels, seasonal etc., all from major designers featured in current quilting magazines. The other great thing about the shop is that Jeanne sells both sewing and long-​arm quilting machines. And she offers classes in both. They will also quilt your UFO’s too! They’ve recently moved to a sweet little building so check their website for directions. You’ll be very impressed, guaranteed!
