My review is about a bone density test. I made an appointment over the telephone from my home. Wrote in my notes that the appointment was for 12/04/2015 at 10:30 a.m. Arrived on time to find out they had my day as 12/11/2015. They were kind enough to fit me in, although they did seem to be «cold» towards me. Very unlike my other visits. Okay, that’s over, move on, right. No… today I get a call confirming my appointment for 12÷11÷15. A very long message… no phone number… just rambling on and on. When I found their phone number and called they confirmed that I had already been there. This is so unlike the Windsong I have known. Something has changed and it’s not an improvement.

Was nervous as it was my first mammogram, but from start to finish every technician, nurse’s assistant, doctor… they were all wonderful!!! The facility is very clean, waiting rooms are comfortable, and the color palette is rather pleasant. I actually won’t mind going again for my annual exam!

On Monday, June 2, 2014, I had a test performed at Windsong Radiology. Before I had this test I felt just fine. The next day I noticed that I had the chills, a fever and a yellowish discharge. By Wednesday I felt even worse. I called my Doctors office and the nurse told me that I should come in. Thursday I went in and was told that I have a n infection. I know that I didn’t have an infection before I went to Windsong. I wonder if the instruments were sterilized properly?

Beautiful waiting room, clearly designed to put you at ease prior to your diagnostic imaging. Overall as pleasant experience as you could hope for.

My experience here was just ok. There are definitely some things that this place needs to improve. I spent over 2 hrs here for a test that took between 20 – 30 minutes. Most of that time was spent waiting to check in. When I walked in the front door I was initially greeted by someone at the main desk who looked at my prescription, entered my name into the computer, and told me to head upstairs, have a seat, and wait to be called to a desk. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I began to wonder if I needed to walk up to the desk and tell someone that I was here. Apparently another patient was wondering the same thing and did ask. She was told to sit and wait to be called. There were 4 other patients in the waiting room and 3 people working at the check in desks. Why were we all waiting to check in? Because the receptionists were busy watering plants, talking, and getting coffee. I had arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment and finally got called up to the desk 30 minutes after my scheduled time. Only one other person checked in during the 45 minutes that I waited. I was called back for my test after another 10 – 15 minute wait. The technologist who performed my test was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. The test itself was slightly uncomfortable at times but not painful. The technologist took a series of images and showed them to the doctor for approval while I waited in the room. She came back and said that the doctor needed another picture using a different setting on the machine. When the test was finished, I asked if the doctor could give me the results and I was taken to another waiting area. I didn’t have to wait too long this time. The doctor was friendly and explained everything well. She even described some treatment options that I could discuss with my primary doctor. I am not sure if I will continue coming here for follow-up care. The doctor and technologist were great, but the check-in process is a joke. If I can find another place that will give me same day results, I will probably go there instead.
