This church sits on Parker near Hertel. Its also tied to St Marks on Amherst and Woodward. While they have separate parishes, they work together and are sharing resources.
St Marks was founded in 1908. The current church opened in 1914 and the school opened in 1921. ** edited as I found out the school closed. However, its still a used facility as I see things happening there all the time.
St Rose of Lima opened in 1925 to service the rapidly growing area on the other side of Hertel. The school opened in 1926, closed in the 2000’s.
As you walk the neighborhood near Shoshone Park and the former Holy Angels school you may come across this church and the grounds. Its beautiful, if well hidden, gardens are a delight to come across.
