Went here with the hubs because the fish fry sign caught our attention. The bar and dining area are what you would expect from a decades old joint. Think a step up from a card table and fold-​up chairs. No biggie to me really though, I was in the ultimate casual dining mood.
The good/​decent: I got the beer battered fish fry with a side order of fried shrimp. The fried shrimp was delicious!!! The cocktail sauce had just enough kick. The fish fry came with fries, tuna mac salad and coleslaw. The tuna mac salad was OK, definitely homemade. The coleslaw was also OK, the hubs liked this a lot better than I did. The fish of the fry dish was very good, not as good as other places on my Fish Fry list however, but not a bad dish at all for a total of $ 13.50.
The bad: The bathroom was dirty, like it hasn’t been cleaned in awhile and has been used by a million people. Ewwww… The service was atrocious! The waitress didn’t take a drink order when we were seated. And even though we were clearly ready to order (menus closed, pushed to the side, we were making obvious gestures that we were ready), she took other people’s orders before us. I had to chase her down for a drink order. (She left with my hubs’ order and then started to leave the table. Who takes just one person’s drink order at a table and not the other person’s???) She dropped off our food and then we never saw her again. She checked on the other tables etc. She still wasn’t even an acceptable waitress though.
Oh and the place was not busy. When we were there three other people were actively needing food orders or drink orders. The other 5 people were already eating, drinking and were on their way out.
I purposely left her a 8% tip. I always tip 20% that’s how annoyed I was at her.
I’ll NEVER come here for anything again.

Had a great fish fry-​super reasonable drinks and really nice folks!
. Fish fry comes with all the works fries, slaw mac and potato salad, and there are dinner specials– Lasagna– but we went for the fish. Generous portions.
Added some fried mushrooms and onion rings for the full fat Friday experience!
Menu also includes appetizers, burgers and other seafood offerings. Fish available beer battered, broiled or cajun. Food is also served during Bingo !
