Hubby and I tried this place out for the first time tonight. We wanted something different than our usual lineup and headed to the Galleria for some smothered fries. The menu here is pretty cool: there is a variety of pre-constructed combinations one can choose from, such as the«716»(chicken, hot sauce, blue cheese) and the«Rocky Balboa»(Philly cheese steak with peppers and onions). Essentially this place is like a Subway– you choose your fries like you choose your bread, and then add any of the toppings you want from the bins in front of you, or you can choose from the combos listed on the menu. Hubby ordered the«Southern Comfort», pulled chicken in sweet BBQ sauce over waffle fries. I had a bite and instantly regretted not ordering the same. The BBQ sauce was very sweet and savory, with a little hint of spice. It was delicious! I ordered the Chili Cheese Fries with waffle fries because it sounded great at the time. I wish I had watched the person make it because I could have told her when to stop with all the cheese and sour cream. Taste-wise, it was very good! But there was just SOOOO much cheese(and it was cheap nacho cheese, not REAL melted cheese) that it overpowered the fries. There could have been more chili in comparison, but also, it was cheap Hormel-out-of-the-can chili, nothing that was specifically made to enhance the fries. My advice to Get Fried: When your entire business model is centered around french fries– don’t smother them to the point that they get lost! I think the company should put a little more effort into its recipes and try making some ingredients from scratch– real cheese, real chili, stuff like that, and it would stand out from the rest of the fast food joints we all know and love. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his BBQ pulled chicken fries and made a shiny plate, er, basket, but I got through ¾ of mine and couldn’t eat any more. The cheese and sour cream had soaked through and made the fries soggy… it was just too much. So now I know what not to get next time, and I advise that if you opt for the same meal as I did, ask for light toppings. For $ 20ish, we got two large fry meals and two drinks. Not cheap considering this is in a fast food court, but you will feel as full as if you had just eaten a meal at a sit-down restaurant. I don’t know if they’re already thinking about it or if it already exists, but this concept would be incredible as a food truck. Next time(and there WILL be a next time) I will try a recipe with less saturating toppings. I am not discouraged from coming back, just smarter about the process and the ingredients now. I suggest you give this place a try– the fries are incredible and the possibilities of toppings are endless!

Slower day but friendly server and HUGE poutine order with steak. Fries fries right in front of me and tons of toppings. Good option if you’re looking for something different, at the mall.

The perfect treat/pick me up — fresh, quick, flavors pair well together and it’s not heavy so I went right back to shopping! I will definitely go again and I highly recommend you try #getfried while you’re at the mall :)

Good concept, topping quality is O.K.(very oily meats, literally the pulled pork is sitting in oil) at best. Fries have been sitting under a heat lamp for however long. Worst part is I get sick(and so do my coworkers) after we eat here every single time. It’s 3 times in total on my part. That’s what made my stars so low.

Well, it is what it is – a poutine-themed fast food place. For the price point($ 5.99 for a small), it is a little steep. We ordered the Texas cheese fries, which are covered in cheese sauce, bacon, and green onion. The fries appear to be a coated frozen food service fry and although hot and crispy, at the price point, somewhat disappointing. It is probably more a personal taste matter that makes us rate the place at two stars. It would be far more special if they made the fries fresh. It would elevate the flavor as well. The owner is very, very friendly, though and one of the higher points.

So, this is basically a poutinerie in the Walden Galleria. If they were smarter, they would actually market themselves that way! So yeah, it’s a mall food court type place, and they serve a number of varieties of fried potatoes, with various toppings. Basically, as I said, a poutinerie. You can choose your type of fry and various toppings. So one con: potatoes are mostly under heatlamp, so if you’re unlucky, you’ll get those. However, they were out of fries so mine were freshly fried. this made it so that the cheese curds(and yes, in my experience, they were curds at the time of my visit) were melted from the heat of the gravy and fresh fries. So I think for the price, it’s not bad, but the service is pretty surly teenager normal, keep that in mind, as well.

Worst experience nothing is like the pictures taking everything was cold and soggy. My pepperoni had to be expired because it was discolored. I don’t know what else to say except I wish I didn’t pay for it. Could be way better not what they promoting at pics tell a thousands word and this right was not what in the pics on their menu screen

Pretty standard French fries. I had the medium w sweet baby rays bbq sauce. It was great that they made them fresh for me but I didn’t think they were anything out of the ordinary. I also felt like I was standing in a vat of grease when I was ordering due to how close the fry oil was to the counter. The staff was friendly enough, but I don’t think it’s worth a second trip.

Okay so here goes. First off I did not expect the worlds greatest poutine but I was very disappointed. The gravy was packaged and the curds went on cold. My wife had the waffle fries with bacon, nacho cheese, and ground beef. No that’s what was up. They were so good I threw away the so so poutine and got an order for myself. They were so good I actually hurt myself eating them. Had it not been for the cold cheese curd and packaged gravy on the poutine it would have been a five star review. If you do get adventurous and order the poutine don’t order with waffle fries. The fries soak up the gravy so fast they get extremely soggy.

Do you like French fries? Do you like cheese on your fries? How about bacon? How about steak? Heck, how about almost anything you want on your fries? If so, #getfried is the place for you. #getfried is a new food court option at the Galleria Mall. Let’s start with the fries themselves — terrific. Crunchy and seasoned well. The toppings themselves are decent too. I ordered the Rocky Balboa. This is basically a Philly Cheesesteak(minus the roll) on your fries. Really good. One thing to remember though — This is a PHILLY Cheesesteak and not a Steak and Cheese. As such this means it’s done the Philly way — with Cheese Whiz. I personally prefer melted provolone on steak subs but if you order this the standard way it’s done correctly — for better or worse. Everything here is a single price so if you’d prefer to substitute you can do so. So are these the best fries on the planet? No, not at all. However, considering it’s a food court option, they’re good. So if you’re tired of Subway, the Chinese place, etc, I would recommend giving #getfried a try. A welcome addition to an otherwise lackluster food court.

Do NOT waste your time on the poutine. First off, they don’t use real cheese curds. Its some cheap, flavorless cheese product. The gravy comes from a bag. Second, the menu says«melted cheese curds.» The girl making my fries told me they don’t melt the cheese anymore because the cheese was«exploding» on them??? So you’re stuck with a basket of gravy covered fries and ice cold chunks of cheese. If you like real, authentic poutine, this doesn’t come close. Also tried the pizza fries, they were okay, but the sauce was on the very sweet side. A weird combination, though. I personally don’t think pizza toppings and french fries vibe too well. I really don’t like the fact that not many of the ingredients are fresh. The fries seem like frozen fries; very bland. The cheese sauce is a bright yellow, bagged nacho cheese. The bacon bits are very obviously loaded with chemicals and the chives are dried. An interesting addition to the food court, but they definitely need to make some improvements.

Upon walking up I looked at the idea of a big basket of fries customized to my choosing… a deep breath… Daddy’s home! Although I was a little surprised to see pans with Pre cooked fries under heat lamps, a little disappointed to find out my fries wouldn’t be cooked to order… BUT…They ran out of the lamp fries… so mine were cooked fresh. Holla! Anywho, back to the potatoes. The fries are really good. What I call«Carnival Style» taste really fresh, crispy, right amount of salt. I got«The Brit» AKA Fish & Chips. Pretty good, lacked a sauce. Also they were out of Lemon… absurd! The Tatar sauce and The fish itself was pretty average. Can’t be bad. My buddy got the traditional«Oh, Canada». white curds and brown gravy. He said he liked it. But he’s a real Canadian. So he gave it «7 out of 10» I’ll trust his opinion. Though pretty average. The idea is great. Customizable poutine with plenty of innovative template list. It’s awesome. Defiantly stands out in the Mall as far as a food court in concerned. Defiantly don’t overlook!

Absolutely disgusting. How do you mess up French fries?! We were excited that the galleria finally got a French fry place, like many malls do. The design is nice and the menu looks good. But once we got in line I began to get nervous. As I was waiting I watched a guy pull out a plastic bag of gravy, walk over to the line and pour it into the warmer to be served. It looked gross. Next, out came a box and a plastic bag of chili. Come on. I understand it’s fast food but seriously everything here is prepackaged, frozen crap. So I went as light as possible to avoid the processed garbage. I couldn’t get much cheese because it was nacho liquid cheese. Yuck. So I got some chives that were dried. Not even fresh chives?! Literally nothing fresh at all. How disappointing. When I finally made it through the line of pre packaged junk, the fries weren’t even good. Barely crispy. What a joke. Come on buffalo, get with it.

I was so excited for this place to open. My boyfriend and I LOVE poutine and have tried it from every place within 50 miles. Granted, we knew this wasn’t going to be some legit duck confit and curds stuff but wow… it was bad. The fries in themselves were very bland. They kind of just threw stuff on like a Subway for loaded fries. It’s not even worth the time to actually write a full review. It was just bad.

I wish everything was a little warmer. Maybe a little fresher. A great concept and I could taste the goodness but it just didn’t hit a homerun. So many choices but the staff was great in helping me make a decision. But again a little more warmer and a little more fresher.

I was rather excited to get poutine for the first time in forever but now I may not be able to eat it ever again. It looked a lot better than it tasted. It was average. However, only a few hours later, the food came back up. I vomited for 8 hours. I couldn’t go into work the next day because I was still uneasy for a full 24 hours. The food doesn’t have a guard over it so any employee can sneeze, cough, or drool all over your food. I’m not sure what got into mine, but you can be sure I will never eat there again.

I love fries. Like, I have an unhealthy attachment to fries. So of course I had to check this place out! If you’re someone who loves fries, and loves a lot of random stuff on your fries, this place is perfect. The fries were freshly fried and perfectly crispy(nothing worse than soggy fries with lots of toppings). I ordered the 716: waffle fries(you can choose from straight, tater-tots, waffle sweet potato, or curly!) topped with shredded chicken, wing sauce, and blue cheese. It was divine. My friend built her own, starting with the sweet potato fries and she was very happy with hers. Refreshing change from the normal mall fare. And they’re local!

Came here yesterday with Brad after a long day at the mall. I was excited to try #GetFried. I have seen them all over Twitter and Instagram. One thing I thought was weird though is they never post pictures of their food… I ordered the 716 and Brad ordered the Oh Canada. While ordering, I noticed the fries were freshly fried, since someone kept bring batches of them. Something odd is they didn’t use fresh cut fries. Just fries from a bag. Down a star in my book. Five Guys in the mall even uses fresh cut fries. I also noticed the queso and nacho cheese were clearly from a bag. Eating the poutine, you can tell the gravy is from a can too. Down another star. The 716 was as expected. Didn’t blow my mind, but this is a mall food court. Something I did wish was that the fries were seasoned. Or they should at least have salt and pepper there to season them yourselves. That would have helped with the gravy too. Down another star. All-in-all, it was eh, okay. I probably wouldn’t be back because I tend to eat healthier than this. The pricing seemed very expensive for what you get, although the portions were a good size for a mid day snack. The service was good though, although it is Chipotle-style assembly line, which I am not a fan of anyways. With more unique branding(rather than using slogans that have been on Tumblr/Pinterest for years), different products, and actual seasoning, I think #GetFried could be a lot better.

I don’t know why but I was expecting it to be more like duck frites, but its just normal French fries considering all the hype. Yes the fries were very good, and my daughter wanted the Chili cheese fries and I ruined my diet by eating them with her. They were beyond good. But probably will stay away from that area of the mall when I’m there, just so I Dont get fat.

I paid for items they didn’t even have… the items I did pay for were cold and the food quality was mediocre. Very disappointed! Looks can be deceiving! I’m sure the good reviews on here are from those who work there or are related those who own this establishment.
