I like their beer battered fish fry the best (4 times now).
Breaded is not consistent (2 times out of 3 good) but I did try their broiled, Cajun & lemon pepper and they all were good. Sides were small but many. Fries were very good.
Rye bread and tartar sauce were great.
The haddock fish size was the biggest around.

Came on st pattys day who could resist all you can eat corned beef and cabbage for 11.95, the place was packed and they were severely understaffed waitress dumped off our food and didn’t bother to ask to fill our drinks or ask if we needed anything with our meals, we had to damn near trip her as she walked by to get her attention as we were dying of thirst. We also ordered a side of «surprise fries» well the surprise was that they were so over cooked that the cheese was basically powder they were so dry you couldn’t even eat them. And all you can eat is a joke because when they don’t ask if you want more and you have to yet again flag down your waitress they bring you out a tiny coffee plate for your second helping that you could eat in ten seconds leaving you yet again searching for service and don’t come thirsty because you won’t get your drinks won’t be dining here again!

Favorite fish fry in Buffalo! And the macaroni salad isn’t half bad either. Their tartar sauce is the BEST!
Haven’t tried much else, but the place seems to be for an older crowd. Pretty dates interior and feel to the place.
Go for the fish fry, you will not be disappointed!

The food is reasonable and good. They always have a creative soup. Not a lot of frills but if you want a good meal at a decent price with friendly staff this is definitely the place to go. The fish frys are among the best in Buffalo.

This place is a true hidden gem of Buffalo. The food is delicious and reasonable. The waitresses are some of the nicest people and it doesn’t take long before they know your name personally. I’d make it a point to get here

The fish frys are my husbands favorite anywhere. This place is very inexpensive… The fish fry is only $ 8.95. My stepson was happy with the wings-​Not his favorite but he liked them.
The service here is very hit and miss. If it were my choice we would never go but alas, gotta give the hubby what he’s craving once in awhile.
I’m personally not a fan of the place. Sure the food is okay, I CAN eat it… but that really doesn’t say much for a place now does it? I’ve tried numerous things on the menu and really haven’t found anything beyond what compares to cafeteria school food. Which I actually liked growing up. yikes.
This place has its place with locals it seems with what I think are regulars. Not the best area. It does stay busy though. Especially during the lent season. I’d advise eating earlier if you can.

When you need some comfort to sooth ur soul come here. Food is wonderful seevice is great. The drinks are cheap and so is the food ! Dont let the outside of the place fool you. This is a hidden gem for sure!
