Great fresh Pita bread and a spectacular lunch menu. Just had a «spinach pie» made fresh in house every friday… wow!

Friendly & quick service. Food always taste freshly made and its not super costly. The employees there have no problem with explaining what’s what on the menu if you have a question. I’ve been here quite a FEW times and I haven’t had a bad experience with the service or with the food. Try it out :)

Best food ever! The pita bread is baked in the back. I’m a healthy nut and all the ingredients are so fresh with no preservatives. I always make sure I buy a pack of pita bread and homemade hummus for house. My favorite items are the spinach pockets. There’s a small grocery section of imported organic and Mediterranean goods that I can’t find anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Is this bakery/deli a front for something? Probably. Do I care? Nope. They have fresh and frozen Mediterranean snacks and ingredients at a reasonable price so engage in whatever illegal activity you want as long as you keep selling that delicious Shawarma!

I thought that this Deli was somehow associated with Father Sams, like perhaps a wholesale division. I guess that I thought wrong. This place is tiny. Essentially two sides to a very small store. Frozen side and, for lack of a better term, Deli(?) side. My initial foray into this location — I have visited the other Cedars in Blasdell and have been very happy with products available and pricing — got me a bag of pitas, taboule(in house made, I swear) and hummus. I also picked up a square of baklava, which I intended to share but never did. My deli side products were wonderful! My only critique is that there is no fresh babaganouj(sp). Only canned. The taboule and hummus were essentially the same as what I had previously purchased as the alternate Cedars. The pitas came in a «Cedars» wrap and did not look at all like a Father Sams, which tend to be fat little pockets. Whatever, all was good on the first visit. Second visit involved a deli Sammy/wrap. Very confusing because there is no selection/menu board to speak of. One person behind the counter who remained rather distant from me. Calling out from afar what it was that I wished to order. Fortunately I did grab a menu on my first visit so I had some clue as to the actual offerings. An odd little place. The wrap was good and I’m guessing they do a brisk lunchtime business judging by the trays being set up. Pita chips and a pickle came with the wrap and all was tasty. Just a FYI. Frozen side held bags of pitas and such. It is my understanding that there are no preservatives used so buying frozen is not all that different from buying fresh. The other location is much larger, Abbott and Lake. I will return to try some falafel and dolmades.

What a hidden treasure this place is. Have driven by hundreds of times and never gave it a second thought till today. Wife spotted sandwich sign in a window of a place we thought was just a bakery of Pita bread. We were looking for quick lunch, something different and got it. I had the Gyro Melt sandwich($ 5.49) with pita chips, a pickle, and a dipping sauce. Good size sandwich, great taste. Wife had spinach & chicken wrap. Will be back for more of the menu. It’s Lebanese theme was so refreshing. Worth a look.
