Carolina Furniture

Here’s an open letter that I sent to Dale, the owner of Carolina Furniture about a product that he sells. It’s been a week & not a single phone call from him or his people. Take the money & run, sell cheap furniture, don’t back it up, have your sales reps lie & screw the customer.
Hi Dale,
I purchased $ 5,144 worth of furniture from Gordon & took delivery in late August of 2015 of all furniture. At the time we had some issues that were corrected after speaking to you & Nicole. Today 2÷6÷16 I had Dennis from the service department out to look at 2 pieces, a love seat & sofa made by Cheers. When you sit on the sofa you sink in a lot, which was not the case when I purchased it or even when I made my decision while «testing» it out in your store. Dennis suggested that more foam be added but I’m kind of leery with that idea. It’s only 5 months old & needs additional foam, what’s gonna happen another 6 months from now or even years down the line? If I wanted cheap furniture I would of gone with Value City furniture & saved myself a lot of money. I also want to reconfirm with you that when Gordon sold me these 2 pieces I was told that they were American made which is not the truth. I need something done. $ 2,400 for 2 pieces is a lot of money to anyone & knowing that this furniture isn’t gonna be good for anything but the trash a few years down the road isn’t acceptable. I spent almost $ 1,500 back in 1999 on furniture from your store that is still in great shape & solid so that is why we decided to shop with you again. I would like you to stand behind your product & do something to satisfy my wife & I.
