This restaurant is horrible. Our table was the only cleared table in a section of 6 tables. There were flies all over the dirty dishes on the tables. There were at least 6 employees hanging around the hostess table paying no attention to the mess on the tables. The place is dirty so I suspect the kitchen is too. I did not see a manager the whole time we were there. The food was bad too.

Unauthorized charge on my card from this location! A couple of friends and I went here several months ago, and the server changed my check to give himself a $ 20.00 tip! Yes, you read that right. The food was mediocre, and he never came back to our table to check on us. He only shouted from 3 tables away and asked us if we were okay maybe once the whole time we were there. We were so dissatisfied with his effort that we decided not to leave a tip. I check my account a week later and I realize he wrote in $ 20 for his tip because the charge was $ 20 dollars more than I authorized! I called the store manager when I found out. They refunded my money, but I will never come here again.

DONOT come here. Horrible service. Food was less than mediocre and overpriced. Waited over an hour for horrible food. I had to ask the bartender for my food and drinks. Our waiter visited us twice, to take our order and bring us the check. The food had no taste to it and it was cold to room temperature. You’re better off going to Mc Donald’s across the street. The location was poorly kept as well. Waste of time and money. 0 stars if possible.

First review on Unilocal whilst visiting from the UK, piled into here starving after exiting knotts berry farm. Wish I had checked Unilocal first! DONOT waste your time. I ordered Parmesan crusted chicken, when it came I cut into the chicken and ate a bite and it was barely warm. You touched the chicken with your finger and it was not hot at all. So I complained, they scraped my chicken off my plate, left me with the pasta, and just got me a «fresh» piece of chicken. When the new chicken came, same again cut it open and it was barely warm. By then my pasta was cold too so I sent the whole thing back and didn’t eat. The staff weren’t even courteous or apologetic. My daughter ate her Mac and cheese but probably only because she was starving. Also my small draught bud light was flat as anything and not enjoyable, nearly $ 10 too! What a waste of time and money!!!

Made a mistake thinking there’s no crowd on Mother’s Day Another mistake is to stop at TGIF run by Knotts directly I sat down and watched that bartender Chrispy working for 1 min after he noticed me sitting down very obviously I greeted him before he did I gave him compliment about his name He gave me an answer seriously«it’s just my name.» I still smiled and said that’s my daughter’s name without a «p»! I was given a receipt after I ordered corona extra because it’s cheapest $ 8/bottle I called the manager Mirium and she gave me the regular speech from Knotts trainers: that is our company policy to give bar customers who sit on the rim the receipts immediately after drinks were delivered beside a lot of customers just walked out without paying I said: just because 10% or 30% of your customers did that so you treated all of us like that? Why that popular newest restaurant across street didn’t have the same practice?“ Mirium: «I’ll let the management know.» I: «once you gave me those words such as policy, management, customers will not help you any more.» The only happy server was that raisin bread clerk who asked, «do you need me to cut this bread for you?» You, the public, be the judge, is Knotts service better than that popular amusement park in Anaheim or not? It’s my home town so I kept my tax dollars here. Shall I go across the street? After I finished my review, I noticed that there’s no straw provided. I had to ask 2nd server to give me a straw. Does a new customer deserve this kind of treatment? It’s a Mother’s Day today and I looked like a mother. At age 60, I realized that I should have pick up beer from market and drink at home.

Unilocal100 review challenge 40⁄100 Loved loved loved my 1st experience at TGI Fridays. I came in a Saturday afternoon for lunch. After a long morning at Knotts Berry Farm, we were all pooped and ready for something yummy. My brother ordered a blue raspberry lemonade which he didn’t like much. He regretted ordering it but drank anyways. I mentioned to waitress half way through his drink, and she was willing to bring something else out. She was a total doll her name was Gina. But, bro settled for a water. We ordered the green fingers aka«Crispy Green Bean Fries.» The green fingers were too oily for me. We ordered two appetizer bbq chicken pizzas without chicken. A lovely big fat hamburger for bestie that came with a huge side of fries. All I can say is my bbq chicken pizza without meat was bomb. I shared one slice with bestie and the rest was gobbled. I loved that it was thin crust, the combo of the bbq flavor, cheese, onions, and cilantro was insane. I loved loved loved the interior décor. They played 80s best! The service was super friendly. We left happy and hyper! Ready to take on the rest of Knotts Berry Farm! Ps-clean restrooms.

Overpriced food and drinks. Horrible service. If you like paying over 10 bucks for a domestic beer and waiting over a hour for you’re food then this is you’re place. If you want awesome food, ice cold beer, and not being ripped off then you should visit Rock and Brews less then a block north on Beach Blvd. Amazing food, better beer selection, and lower prices.

Wow! What a dump! Still waiting game for the kids’ orders to come in… Not impressed. Would of gotten a better deal and service at the all you can eat… Not justified for the prices.

I’ll start with asking you to look at all my previous reviews. You will see that I don’t really give bad ones I only let people know about the good ones but this place deserves a negative rating. 1– star is too much. I’m the easiest and kindest most respectful customer to a restaurant because I own one and I know how it goes. First, they sat us on a table that was dirty and was not even cleared all the way. It took the server 15min to clean it up and it was a 4– seater. She took our drink order and rushed to leave. It was slow by the way… Then came back to take our order 20min later. She forgot the 1– beer we ordered but remembered the waters that where served in a dirty glass. Our food was sent out scattered and still no silver ware or plates for us to dig in. I was there with my sister my 5– year old son and 9 year old nephew. Every one of us where starving. My son watched his already cold Mac and cheese get colder and we did the same on everything else. The spinach dip came out with dry crust around the edges like it was sitting there for an hour or so. I sent that back and said just give me the bill. I had to ask 3 – 4 other waitresses to assist because ours never came by. 52 bucks later with only 3-appetizer ordered and 1−½ wait I was just so mad but stayed calm. There is more but I’m getting pist off just thinking about it. Service sucked, Food sucked, Place was dirty, And way too expensive and I’m a spender when I want to eat. I did not order food because the appetizers took wayyyyy toooo looong to come out. I assure you I will never enter this TGIF or any other location. These guys need to regroup and figure their restaurant out. No wonder they are a 2– star facility. I’m done!

I ate lunch at this TGI Friday’s in Buena Park, CA on 3÷8÷2016. It was my 1st time there. We were planning to eat at Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant across the street but it was closed for renovation. We had the fried mozzarella appetizer($ 9.29), I had the bourbon barrel chicken with spinach plus macaroni & cheese($ 18.79), while my companion had salmon wiping spinach and broccoli($ 17.29). My iced tea was $ 4.00, while coffee was $ 2.60. Our server, Ashana, did a fine job. In fact, the whole staff was friendly and helpful. Plus, I took photos.

Clean place, quick service, good food… Just what we were looking for. We’ve had bad experiences at other location, as far as service. But here, not at all. See if Justin’s working when you come in, he was very welcoming and friendly.

Wow. Where do I start? Let me first say this is my 2nd(possibly 3rd review) in the many, many years that I use Unilocal.I have one policy when it comes to reviews: the experience has to be so rare that it deserves mentioning. It can be good, but in this case it is most certainly bad. Let us start with the service or severe lack thereof. We came at around 2PM on a Saturday while at Knotts. We wanted something with more substance(ha!) and the 3 hostesses showed us to our table. It took 25+ minutes for the server to arrive at our table. My friend had to tell the waiter we were here first when he went to the table next to ours. About 45 minutes into our experience, we finally order. I received my food(Jack Daniels Sliders) about 5 minutes after ordering. It was cold and the quality was very low. I have never in my life asked for food to be taken back. It was that bad. That evening I got severely ill. I cannot necessarily blame this on the food as I did go on roller coasters afterwards, but I am an experienced theme park visitor and have never encountered this issue. The only thing different about the typical day — TGI’s «food.» At the end of the day, I ended up splitting the bill with 3 other friends and paying $ 40 for 2 beers. I hate this place. My first(and last) TGI Fridays experience. If you want to throw up during your trip to Knotts Berry Farm and don’t like roller coasters… I suggest eating at TGI Fridays. Stick with Chicken Dinner.

DON’T WASTEYOURMONEY. I ordered the French dip for $ 13 dollars and some change. I asked for cheddar instead of Swiss and apparently cheddar comes at a premium at this place cause they charged me extra. Shame on you Knotts and Shame on you Friday’s. There’s no need to gouge people like that. And to charge over 4 dollars for a Diet Coke is ridiculous. Just because you can overcharge doesn’t mean you should. We come here to get away form the typical«theme» park prices. I’ve eaten here in the past and never paid $ 60 dollars(including tip) for 2 meals, one kids meal, and one appetizer. I know your business will do fine with out us, but I’ll never eat at your restaurant again.

I was somewhat surprised to have a good experience here after reading the other reviews. We were seated quickly and attended the whole meal by a very friendly and helpful waitress. Granted, the appetizer plates were dirty(we chose not to use them) and the manager seemed to be talking loudly about her life philosophies to various tables. But the food was great, and I have to say the Fried Shrimp meal I had here was the best I’ve had at a TGI Friday’s.

You know when you’re at a tourist spot, they’ve got you by the balls and you’re stuck eating wherever is close, since you’ve already paid for parking. So, you dive in and hope for the best. Well, 40 minutes after sitting in the bar area and ordering drinks and food, we finally got our drinks. 10 minutes later, after complaining to there manager, we got our food… ANDNOPLATES! Now, over an hour in, after asking to speak to the manager twice, she has yet to come over. Avoid this place at all costs. This is ridiculous!

Really bad service. They have a million people working and yet everything takes forever to get. Server forgot my salad dressing. The burger came out cold and over cooked. The server(a tall chubby guy with glasses) was wearing his black work shirt that looked like he rolled around in cat hair. The steak was super fatty and bland in flavor considering the price was $ 25 half the steak was well done the other half medium. The steak tasted like ground hamburger meat with no seasoning. The appetizer the bacon wrapped stuff jalapeños looked like they were stuffed with cat food. Worst Friday’s ever. My stomach is starting to hurt as I type this. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy!

Unilocal challenge 2015. 86⁄365. *update* TGIF…AKA Thank God I forgot that I don’t like TGIF, or I would of insisted of going somewhere else. The thing about Fridays is, Its a chain. And we all know chain food is inconsistent and never looks like the picture. Call me spoiled but I have perfected chicken and steak in my kitchen. I am usually disappointed when I order it off a menu because I can do better. This, was no exception, to the food tonight either. I am also not a big drinker so the extended faucets of booze here never entice me at TGIF. Service was attentive tonight. Our waitress was sweet and delivered our meal to our table quickly and was on top of our drink refills. She had her area packed with a few large parties, and she never forgot us little folk. Price wise, dinner for 2, without any appetizers was about $ 40. Which to me is kind of pricey for what I had. My chicken and cheese was about $ 17.00 and cost about $ 3.00 to make. My thin pieces of chicken were dry and unflavored, cheese was burnt on the skillet and the mashed potatoes were instant. It was just okay. The Rueban the hubsters said was decent, but could of used more meat. His sweet potato fries were frozen to the fryer and not very crispy. Parking here is a major Pain in the Bootie. You have to rely on the traffic guards to let you enter the lot at Knotts and you have watch for the zillion million tourists that flock in the lot, who don’t pay attention where they walk. Lalalalalala. The restaurant does not validate, but your receipt is proof enough for the gate keepers, and then its free to park for a couple of hours. TGIF, is just okay. Maybe its another story during Happy Hour. If you have a large party they can accommodate you easily. I am not a fan of Fridays. I have no problem paying for good food, but the $ 40 bill tonight was not worth it. I am not a fan of TGIFs.

Well this is an occasion that I wish I had taken the time to read the Unilocal reviews before deciding to leave Knotts for a bite across the street at TGI Friday’s. Unilocal says it’s a 2 star experience and I have to agree. The main reason we chose to leave Knotts was that we wanted to find a cheaper beer than the $ 11 option in the park. We did succeed on this part of the mission as the beers were cheaper at TGI Friday’s. Unfortunately, the food was very mediocre. We ordered the beer cheese pretzels and two side salads. The salads were quite tiny and topped with a few tomatoes, cucumbers and croutons. The salad dressing was drizzled across the top and I had to ask for an extra side of ranch, which was just okay in flavor. At first we thought we had ordered the dinner salads, which were priced at $ 8 and we were super disappointed but when the bill came it turns out we had side salads at $ 4 instead so it wasn’t quite as bad. We forgot to order the beer cheese pretzels without the bacon topping(my guy is a vegetarian and I don’t eat pig) so we had to scoop that bacon off the top. Not sure if the slight bacon flavor tainted our experience with the cheese dip or if it just has a strange smoky flavor to begin with but we weren’t very impressed. The quantity is also lacking and we ran out of dip before finishing our pretzels. Basically, I’d only return here for drinks.
