Hello Unilocalers! Me here, your friendly neighborhood Unilocaler. While exploring my future home in Buena Park, I stumbled into this noodle house. Clean and simple, the interior is welcoming and comfortable. I entered the packed restaurant with a big«Welcome», «how many?», «have a seat», and«take your time and I’ll be back in a minute to get your order». Right from the start service was excellent and a constant smile was given by both waitresses. Yes, two waitresses for the entire restaurant and they were doing a fantastic job! Water was served immediately to quench my thirst. I ordered the cold noodles soup made from arrowroot and dumplings. I didn’t wait long for both to come out and boy I haven’t had a good clean Korean meal like this in a long time. This tasted on point to Korean cuisine in Seoul. The dumplings were steamed to perfection and packed with meat. The noodles were perfectly cooked, not too soft or too hard, and the broth was clean, tasty and refreshing! The meal was VERY satisfying. Pros: 1) Cold noodles made with arrowroot. 2) Meat dumplings. 3) Kimchee was fresh and made with quality red pepper powder. 4) Staff was prompt, helpful, and friendly. 5) Interior is clean and simple. Cons: 1) Small dining. Stay cool Unilocalers!

It is so good!!! I am an expert at korean food and really don’t like fusion style korean food. The dumpling sujebi is on point!!! It is so good. When you eat it with kimchi it is perfection. My mom and I come here and we just order two dumpling sujebi. Even though I can’t finish it, we always have to order two because one is not enough. :) I don’t know about the other foods because I haven’t tried them, but I highly recommend the dumpling sujebi.

Thursday evening. Not busy at all. Clean environment with accurate on. It feels comfortable and nice. Got two tv’s on korean channel. Lady server always has a smile and readiness to serve. Menu is noodles or dumplings. Around $ 9-$ 10/dish. Kimchi kalgooksoo. $ 10.75 with tax. Im normally not a fan of this dish, but I tried it and it ain’t too bad. I liked my meal and it got me full. Very large quantity. I wished they gave more potatos though. Only got three thumb-size pieces. Noodles are good even if left in bowl for a while. Side dishes are kimchi and radish kimchi. It is a little sour, but it goes great with the noodles. I like the side dishes compared to the others in this area(except the suh lung tang house bas the best). I want to try and come again for the dumplings. Friend says it was one of the best in this four cornered korean area.

Noodle was cooked too long. Only 2 side dishes; kimchee & radish kimchee. They were both sour. Not recommended :/ …

I was very happy with my kalgooksu + mandoo soup. My family was too. They got the dough flake + mandoo soup. It did take a little long for the food to come out considering this is what their whole menu consists of, but it was worth it. This was much better than Myung Dong Gyo Ja in BP. I’m not a fan of Korean dumplings but my mom and sister really liked it.

I have been here a coupe times and I have mixed feelings about this place. The first time I came here with my family, everyone liked what they ordered. Second time I visited with my family again, the food was just okay… definitely not what we had few weeks earlier. Some days are better than others, and I just wouldn’t risk coming here on those«other days»

Food takes forever… I asked for no cucumbers in my noodles, but they said they can’t do that kind of stuff??? Then I got my food and proceeded to take out the cucumbers. A different worker then rudely told me to ask to take out cucumbers next time when I order. I told her that I did and another worker told me no. She said«oh» and didn’t even apologize.

Noodles! I love noodles! Given that the name of this place is suggestive of noodles, their noodles here are definitely better than their dumplings, which were mediocre at best. We had the bibim and mul nengmyun and kalgooksoo and all three were pretty good although not great. Decent noodle option in the area.

I had a late lunch here with my mom because she said that she’d been to this restaurant before(at another location) and that the food was really good. Let’s just say it really wasn’t all that good. We ordered the Chik Bibim Naengmyeon and Kimchi Soojaebi and both dishes were pretty disappointing. The Naengmyeon was not very flavorful and the Soojaebi broth tasted like kimchi water. Neither of us got even close to finishing our meals. We asked the waitress if the owner had changed from the previous location but she said no. So maybe we just went on an off day? I don’t know. but I definitely won’t be back anytime in the near future. I know this location just opened up so maybe they just need some time to get the hang of things.

Bad service(very slow and unorganized). Ordered mul nangmyun and was that a mistake. Broth is bland and wasn’t even cold. The dumplings were dry and again bland. Waitress brought our food to two different tables before realizing that it was ours. Mind you this place isn’t that big(maybe 12 tables). Would definitely not recommend. Take your money and taste palate elsewhere.

If you like home cook meals and fresh food, this is the spot. The atmosphere is extremely local, nothing fancy. The food is very good… The sujebi and the dumpling soup was awesome. In fact my kids ate so much we had to order a second plate of fried dumplings. Price is extremely reasonable. Food is extra good. Atmosphere is comfy.

We tried the Mulmandu(boiled dumplings), Gunmandu(fried dumplings), Naengmyeon(cold noodle soup) and Bibim Guksu(spicy vegetables and noodles). My favorite dishes are their Gunmandu and Naengmyeon. The Bibim Guksu and Mulmandu were also very good but not my favorites. Gunmandu are deep fried meat and vegetable filled dumplings that I prefer to eat without any of the dipping sauces. Theirs were very good. Crispy, bite sized morsels of yumminess. Naengmyeon is a traditional Korean dish. It’s made with long, thin buckwheat noodles and it’s served in an iced broth with julienned cucumbers, Korean pear, spicy mustard and vineagar. This is the perfect dish for a hot summer day! Service was ok. It was hot as Hades when we were there, maybe 95 degrees outside, and they served us these little metal cups for water. They’re about the size of the cup your dentist gives you to rinse your mouth after a cleaning. Anyway, our party of five drank up the 1-liter of water with PSY’s face on the side before we were finished eating but the staff didn’t notice. The staff seemed to be busy stuffing chopsticks inside napkins and hustling around in the back to notice that we were all out. I don’t know what they were doing because there were only two other tables being served. This is typical at Korean restaurants though. They want you to drink PSY flavored soju or soda or something — not water. So, no star deductions. Good food, average service. We’ll be back for more Naengmyeon and Gunmandu this summer.
