Borracho Tacos

I called Borracho days before my event because I found out I was really being overcharged by another company. They were very responsive, great food, nice presentation, timely and friendly. Order the homemade tortillas for sure.
I would hire them again for my next event in a heartbeat.
My only grip is that the hot salsa should be marked with a sign for guests, a serious warning sign. :) After, I ended up thinking it was something else in my freezer, and lets say I was crying for a few hours lol — not spaghetti sauce.

I recently had a birthday celebration. I was in need of a taco vendor and was recommended Borracho Tacos. It was last minute and they were able to accommodate on such short notice. The night of, the two servers set up and had everything ready on time. My guests were complimenting all the meats (chicken/​carne asada/​el pastor); they couldn’t get enough. On top of the the tacos, the quesadillas were a hit. My mom; who is very picky, said they were excellent. The two servers were friendly and very professional. Definitely keeping them on my list for future events. From beginning to end; the initial start, the follow up, to the point of sale, and after the event; Borracho Tacos gave excellent customer service.

We had Borracho Tacos cater, my special needs daughter’s Quinceneara, she is special needs as well as all 14 members of her court, the servers were patient with all of them! Their Horchata Aqua Fresca was DELICIOUS! The food was as my Daughter says was AWESOME! I could not think of anything they could have done better, they made my DAUGHTER’S QUINCENEARA PERFECT!!!

George and his assistant came today for my sons’ birthday party! They were awesome! Super courteous and friendly! They really cared about the food and the service. Tacos were bomb! We’ve had them before at another party and had to get their card. We will definitely be calling them again for the next event. We have so many left overs!!!

We live in Newport Beach and we have a Boat Parade Party every year. We have had various Taco Vendors in the past, which have just been «OK», until we found Borracho Tacos! They are FIVE STARS across the board. We wish that we could give them 10 STARS! One of the company’s representative’s, Alex was so accommodating and polite and knowledgable about how to cater to our exact needs. The ease of navigating throughout their various packages on their website is fantastic. We went with the three meat package, Carne Asada, Pollo, and Al Pastor served with rice, beans and chips and three different delicious salsas. We did order the «El Diablo» sauce and the gilled onions and jalapeños on the side for free of charge! The El Diablo sauce is not for amateurs! Now for the actual food, absolutely fresh and delicious and seasoned to perfection! We are always in search of the perfect Taco from Los Angeles to San Diego and to think that we actually had the perfect taco come to our house says volumes about Borracho Tacos! We had the nicest two gentlemen servers that went above our guests expectations, by making certain that everyone had all the tacos and food that they wanted, as well as, explaining the differences in the meats and salsas. We also tacked on the 40 quesadilla package for the children at our party. After 75 people, we still had left overs that went to our housekeeper and her family after the party. The servers were on time and they set up & cleaned up & packed up effortlessly. Their prices are way beyond reasonable too! Our guests are still raving about Borracho Tacos! Fantastic, Over the Top and Delicious… It doesn’t get any better than than Borracho Tacos folks! Thank you for making our boat parade party an absolute «Hit It Out Of The Park» Fiesta Olé!

Just had our first taco event on Saturday. Their service was professional, our taco man George called before he arrive. We had asada, chicken, and al pastor. Everything was amazing! My favorite was al pastor because they put pineapple in there. Limonada and their homemade tortilla was delicious too. Will definitely have them again in the future.

My friend had her Dirty 30 and had them cater her party. The food was so good. I didn’t try the potato but everyone loved them, the tacos with the fresh pressed tortillas were bomb as was the quesadilla. Warning, be careful with the Diablo salsa! It is super good but brought tears to my eyes and I felt like I needed a shirt that said «I survived the Diablo». The Aqua frescas were delicious too! Would totally recommend them! And will recommend to any clients that want catering

Food and service were so, so good! Especially loved the cucumber lime-​aid! Glad I got to try them at a special event. Hope to bump into them again! But not too soon, though, because it’s easy to put on like 10 pounds! I can say «no» to others, but these tacos are dangerously good.

Hired this catering company for my brother’s birthday party. Their tacos and customer service were great! Our guests enjoyed and my brother was happy! Thanks Borracho Tacos!

My wife & I were attending a baby shower and the food was catered by this awesome taco team that cooked and prepared all the delicious food from chicken and shrimp tacos to Quesadillas.
I am full, but I also got food to go and stored away in my car for later. They are that GOOD!

Ordered food for 30, and there was just enough.
The taste is good, but compared to other friends/​family experiences usually the caterers bring a lot more meat and there are a lot of leftovers. Guests did not eat that much, and still there wasn’t much left over.
The cook seemed like he was in a rush to leave, and seemed to be hiding the good meat when I asked him if there was any Asada left.

My second time using Borracho Tacos and they didn’t disappoint. This time around I ordered enough hand made tortillas for my entire party of 75 people. All my guests were happy. You can’t go wrong with this crew. Pleasant, courteous, and delicious!

Friendly guys who make delicious tacos! Not particularly into tortillas, but my hats off to their homemade, freshly pressed tortillas. I especially loved the pork loaded with tons of onion, cilantro and their red sauce.
The best catered tacos I ever had!

I had them for my baby shower back in January! It was a gloomy day and was sprinkling and drizzling a little bad. They brought their own canopy and set up under it. They came an hour early to set up and start cooking. I ordered for about 50 people. I had a little less than that but my friends can eat and what can I say they ate the whole order ! The pastor is to dieeeeee for you. I will be having them again for my daughters first birthday next year ! Along with other things but they were a must have and I loved it. Communication was great I talked to the wife who emailed me back promptly and constantly. Love love love them. (: I didn’t get to talk to my cooks much as I was so busy and upset already about the rain but I heard no complaints (:

Went to a party a couple weeks ago and Borracho Tacos was catering there. They were great.
We just had them come to our business today and the service and food was great again.
The server worked very hard and had a great attitude.

I’ve had Borracho Tacos at two separate events and each time they were great!
I booked them for my birthday party a couple weeks ago and they were awesome. During a busy season with graduations every weekend, they were incredibly helpful in booking for my party. Showed up on time, were incredibly helpful and professional and the food was delicious! I ordered carne asada, pastor and chicken as well as the watermelons and cucumber limonada agua frescas. Everything was gone by the end of the party and everyone at the party loved the food as well.
If you’re ever in need of a taco man, call Borracho tacos. I’ll never use a different taco catering company.

I hired Borracho Tacos for my brother’s birthday party and they were amazing! I was referred Borracho Tacos from my boss and after reading their Unilocal reviews, I decided to give them a try. I called and left a message (less than 2 weeks before the event) and received a call back within the hour. Christian explained to me that emailing with the details of what I wanted would be the best way to correspond. After I contacted them, I received a confirmation email the very next day. When I sent them my deposit for the event, I got an invoice once they received my check with all of their tips for the day of the event and verifying everything that I had requested for the event.
I had originally asked that they come at 5:45pm (to start serving at 6:30pm), but because of some unexpected rain, everything was pushed back. I called at 5pm and asked if they’d be able to come at 6:30pm instead (to start serving at 7:15) and Christian was extremely accommodating and told me that it wouldn’t be a problem.
Richard (I think that was his name) came to the event promptly at 6:30pm, extremely friendly with a smile on his face the entire time. The food was all brought raw and cooked on site which really showed the freshness of the cooked food. I’ve hired some taco men who have brought pre-​cooked food to the event and the meat was all dried out and tasted as if it had been cooked hours prior.
Our event was only 30 people and we had chicken, carne asada, and al pastor. The food was all incredible!!! We had nothing but great comments from our guests about the food and Richard was so friendly and had great customer service skills! The salsas all tasted fresh (one of the red ones was killer spicy, but in that amazing ‘clear all my sinus’ kind of way), the chips were some of the best tortilla chips I’ve ever had, and there were still plenty of leftovers after everyone had their fill of food.
I am definitely saving their number because I will never use any other taco services in the future. Thank you Borracho Tacos!!!

We threw a wedding party for 45 people and found food trucks too expensive. I looked into 5 or 6 different taco catering companies and decided to go with Borracho tacos. I am so glad I did!

1. Great quality meat. We eat tacos VERY often. These were very good, got the Asada, Pastor and portabella&zucchini which is a great vegan option. Guacamole was delicious and quesadillas saved the night because, even though we end up being 37 pax, we finished the food. I told you the tacos were very good, plan accordingly!
2. Hand-​made tortillas. They offer them as an extra, $ 1 per pax. GO FOR IT, it DOES make the difference. People will keep telling you how good the tacos are.
3. Is true that Christian is not the best answering the phone. Send him an email and be patient, the guy delivers.
4. They have a wide offer (can’t wait to try the shrimp!), very versatile and the price is very competitive, keep it like that Borracho!
5. Pedro and Erica were our chefs, and they are a GREAT team. As soon as they arrive you know you are in good hands. They have a great vibe, they were fun, took care of business and lighted up the party. I am sure they all are great people, but I will definitely recommend Erica and Pedro!
Everybody had a blast and we saved the budget for a live band!

I hired Borracho Tacos for my dad’s surprise 60^th birthday party over this past weekend and I was so incredibly happy with my catering choice.
1. The food was amazing, all my guests were raving about it. All the meat was excellent, the salsas perfect and homemade tortillas amazing.
2. The two people that came to cook for us were so nice and accomodating. They made sure my dad was taken care of all night and all our guests were going on about how nice they were.
3. They were clean, professional and well priced.
What more could you ask for!

Thursday night at 9pm I began to panic because my food plans for the birthday party on Saturday didn’t work out. I did a mad search for «best OC taco cart caterers» and found Borracho. After watching their taco wars YouTube videos I decided to contact them. I was thrilled because by 10:30pm that night we were confirmed for the party.
Communication via email was great. They arrived on time on Saturday morning and were ready to Rock and roll with their grill and easy up. What a great feeling not having to worry about setting up and preparing food. Within about 20 minutes of their arrival the delicious smells of grilled pastor permeated the park. We ordered pastor, asada and chicken and upgraded with guacamole and homemade tortillas. Let’s just say I received multiple text messages after the party telling me the food was awesome. All three meats had intense delicious flavor and the quality was great. It was hard to pick but my favorite was the pastor. All three salsas had great depth of flavor and heat just the way I like it. And the homemade tortillas… a must!!! Quesadillas were included with any custom combination and was a big hit for the kiddos. (Ask for their secret menu!!!)
Upon end of service I had my containers ready for them and they filled them all up with leftovers enough to feed my family for another few weeks. Easy peasy.
Price: reasonably priced amongst competitors (trust me I contacted all of them in OC. $ 330-​$ 400 for 30 guests depending on upgrades.
Communication: A for awesome. No issues booking them and receiving invoice via email
Quality of food: the most important factor… I love my tacos and Borracho is LEGIT. Everything fresh and homemade… can’t ask for more.
Quality of service: friendly and professional
Would I use them again? Definitely!!! They made the party a hit and made my life so much easier.
