Well hailey when some old lady is rude to a three year old for no reason I will always have a problem with it. Hope that clarifies things for you.

Punzels is a wonderful place to wander. What a cute little cottage packed with scandinavian culture, tucked in the woods. The owner, Judy is always friendly, and my family always look forward to going to this darling little store… I don’t know what«Jeffs» problem is, but the help there is never rude. They are laid back and accomidating. No, they don’t take credit cards, because they are a tiny little family business who can’t afford to process them(They accept cash and checks). My experience in this store is always great. Must check out for the little treasureS you can find inside.

What can I say about a place that really needs to be seen? This is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Author and illustrator Judy Hauser has transformed her property south of Traverse City into an homage to Scandinavian culture, complete with sculptures, water features, and vignettes from her fairytale stories. Step inside and immerse yourself in the fun, funky, and sometimes funny merchandise — a troll collection that will make your heart stop, Dala horses and pigs, stickers, stationary, Christmas decorations, aprons and napkin rings. Even whole sections devoted to children’s clothes, toys, books, and kitchen items… and all from Scandinavia. Not to mention Judy’s own books. Perhaps it speaks to me, and my boyfriend’s family, because of our heritage, but I really think that anybody can find enjoyment here in one form or other. Especially given the fact that Judy and her staff will, with a reservation($ 16 per person), host a gourmet lunch that looks like wood elves and fairies prepared it. Everything edible, even the flowers. While you’re digesting, walk the grounds and see the wood elf houses, the pond, the troll cave(with seating) and waterfall… seriously. Judy herself is a character; sweet, imposing, and no-doubt eccentric, but that just adds to the charm of Punzel, an epic adventure.
