The title is fitting, as this restaurant is literally overhanging the river. I go white water rafting every year, and always stop by this place. They have pretty good pizza as well as funnel cake. Its a great place to recharge after being in the cold water for a few hours. They also have a dart board which makes waiting for your food way more fun.

Referred to by the locals as PBR, my family and I always celebrate a successful rafting trip with a pie. The anticipation starts on the rafting trip when the smells of cheese and crust over flow the river’s bank and invade our rafting party. Let’s be clear, this isn’t the authentic New York pizza experience. The pizza is pretty basic, in fact this place should work on having a better product, but let’s not forget that PBR is more than a tiny shack in the wilderness. PBR is more than basic pizza, it’s a rafting institution where rafters, river guides, and river rats commingle over a game of corn hole or darts, while feeding pizza crust to the ducks.

A rafting guide recommended we eat here after our trip. We bought our guide a 7 inch pizza and everyone else had pizza by the slice. It did take a while to get the custom order, but it was made fresh so we understood. Well worth the wait. Kids wanted second helpings. Highly recommend for hungry travelers who appreciate local establishments.

Nothing to say about this place other than the pizza is bland at best and over priced.

3 hours on the river… man was I hungry. This pizza spot rocks. I got the 7″ pie with 5 toppings and it was made to order in less than 15 minutes and I ate by the river while guys were setting up for some live music and having a little fire going. If you are used to the«city» style nice restaurants, this is not the place, but if you want bad-ass pizza and like the«campy» scene. This is the place for you!

We ate here after a long rafting trip. The pizza does take a long time to bake because its fresh! The owners made us some free bread sticks while we wait which I recommend you get even if you have to pay because they are amazing!
