We had a party of 6 and all of us had an AMAZING experience! Our server was the best server we have had in a long time. She was super attentive, friendly, and knowledgable. Everyone throughly enjoyed their food. It was fresh and very tasty! They had a great local beer selection and wine. The prices were great for the quality of food. This is an adorable place and we will definitely be back when we are back in town!

We’ve eaten breakfast here three times in the past year. Love the food. Took my wife there for Mothers Day. Perfect. The atmosphere is quaint, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is great.

Amazing food! Nice people. Cool décor! Definitely want to go back again. Saw a lot of family having brunch there. A good place for friends reunion too. You can have couple of drinks while having little chat with your friend.

Incredible! We went to Bryson City, NC to ride the Polar Express train and stopped in the Cork & Bean to eat dinner after. I had the bacon wrapped filet mignon and it was amazing! It had just the right amount of char to it to add flavor and was so tender in the middle. It’s a bit pricey but well worth it! I highly recommend this place!

While once was the charm we actually had 3 consecutive meals in this Bistro! The Trout and Eggplant for dinner was succulent. Craft beer, superb. Delectable breakfast sandwiches followed up by late lunch burgers after a hike! This was a very pleasant surprise to an impromptu trip to the area.

Last time we came was just for beverages. Tonight was a wonderful dinner. Started with a Caesar salad that was very good, lots of flavor in the dressing, a tad tart, but no overpowering fish taste. The first entrée was T H E B E S T crab cake ever. It was served as a single crab cake over corn, and topped with salmon. The second best entrée was the restaurant’s specialty and regional favorite, mountain trout. This was another sensational dish. Served with a flavored rice and very good baby asparagus. Two of us had the crusted ahi tuna, but were disappointed. There just wasn’t any flavor at all. Either it was a lousy batch of tuna or they just can’t get it fresh in Bryson City. The back dining room has a street view, and no bad seats.

This place is fabulous! I would definitely come back for a meal. I thought it was more of a coffee shop but they have a full menu for meals! All the servers we interacted with were very friendly and attentive. I got the brunch crêpe with eggs, bacon, spinach and cheese. It was delicious and very affordable. It was so large I couldn’t finish it. My husband got the all-American burger as well. Let me add, we ate here right at lunchtime with no wait on a crowded Saturday during peak leaf season. Bonus! We saw as we were leaving, they had a copy of this month’s Southern Living which includes a write-up of the Cork and Bean. Two thumbs up all the way around!

What a Great place! Relax and the food is incredible!!! We have eaten breakfast and dinner 2 days and have been so good. I ate the rise and shine the grits are so good and my husband have the crepes. Dinner the meatloaf was excellent and a big portion. The Cesar salad is to die for. The bison burger was homemade very good. For dessert the walnut pie with melted marshmallows I have ordered two days. Really recommend this place. Everyone is super nice!

Absolutely love this place!!! Great environment and hours! Open early for a bite before the train with a great coffee selection to set you off right! Rustic setting leaves you with the at home feel and DELICIOUS food! Last night had the black and blue burger with potato wedges, these are the hulk of French fries. Wife had rainbow trout with veggies both were amazing!

Made our reservations for 8 pm on a Saturday and they were BUSY when we got there. We wait about 10 min for our table so not bad — Owner was SUPER nice and apologized to me EVERY time we saw him about our table taking too long. The food was actually really good — but took about an hour to get our food. Mine was the Bison Burger w a goat cheese pepper relish and fig jam. It was PRETTY damn good — except that it was cold. You could tell it was sitting there for quite some time. The jam mixture had turned colors. I was so hungry tho I couldn’t send it back and I did eat the whole damn thing. Everyone at my table had the same thing. Their food was COLD, but amazing. I am not sure if our server forgot about our food or if they were so busy it sat in the window not sure but I would come back again — just need to make sure my food it hot. Server was ok – he literally came twice to take our order and bring food. I think someone else brought our check. Oh well! Small town, so gotta take into consideration!

Cute restaurant and coffee house. I had the chicken salad sandwich on a multi grain toasted bread. It was very good and house made. A little too much purple onion for my taste. It came with kettle chips. My husband had a cheeseburger. He said it was very good. It also came with kettle chips. Unfortunately, our waitress was not very attentive. The table next to us had a different waitress and she must of come by 5 times before we ordered and got our drinks. When our food arrived my husband asked for mustard. He was half finished with his burger when she remembered to bring it.

Shocked to find this diamond in the rough! What a relief to find clean food(organic) and clean establishment(100 sanitation grade) in this little community. Delicious and expertly prepared food, the majority of which was organic and/or locally sourced Also organic coffee and wine offerings. We ate dinner and breakfast there so had the opportunity to try many different items. Nice bar area separate from the dining area. Impeccable and super friendly service. I would venture to say it is the best restaurant I have ever experienced in any town, in any state. I am a 55 year old foodie and have been around so this says it all. I hope no one finds out about this place because I want it all to myself!

I would love to give this restaurant five stars because the food was magnificent but service is a big part of the dining experience and their service was subpar. I dined at lunch. It wasn’t quite lunch yet but close. Restaurant had maybe 12 people disbursed among the 2 dining rooms. The restaurant is a bit dark but that is only because of the gorgeous hardwood décor. The windows in the front are the best seats in the house because you can watch people as they mill about town. I was seated by either the owner or house manager. He was kind enough. My server appeared rushed and I’m not sure why. She was managing four tables of one each. The coffee was super strong. Heads up! The remedy to too strong coffee was to give me another cup but to water it down. Lol I had a glass of water and could easily go that myself. I ordered eggs Benedict. It was fabulous. I have not had that dish for over 20 years. Cork and Beans Eggs Benedict made that hiatus totally worth it! The hollandaise was creamy, the eggs popped perfectly over the muffins and the bacon was crisp and salted to perfection. I would dine here again because I must try the trout that everyone raves about.

A great place to go and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with friends, or if you prefer they have a full bat… something for everyone! Dinner was delicious for all; I had the homemade meatloaf mashed potatoes, and green beans and was a very happy girl. Let’s not forget dessert… crème brûlée was second to none… mmm good!

I have a very soft spot for chalkboard menus of all kinds. Coffee. Craft Beer. Food. Wine. Cork and Bean has regular menus for food, but chalkboards display beverage offerings of the coffee, wine and craft beer variety. Beer was from area breweries in North Carolina and there was a very nice selection. Full disclosure, we only had dessert and coffee or beer here, but if the Nutella Crêpe and Bread Pudding were anything to judge by, you are in good hands for more substantial menu options. Coffee drinks were very well done. The space is beautiful with comfortable seating and the service was friendly and efficient. I also enjoyed the music playing in the background. Mellow indie pop style and completely suited to the experience. I wish we had been able to visit more often during our trip.

I have spent a great deal of time in the Bryson City area, over 20 years for holidays and weekends away. I grew up having brunch and wine at the Cork and Bean. This latest visit was with a group of friends for the Fourth of July, everything ordered was absolutely delicious; interesting combinations and fresh flavors. The rise and shine, with the grits was amazing and the locally sourced sausage was out of this world. The waffles come with fresh fruit and are light and fluffy. Oh and don’t let me forget the coffee, Velvet Hammer is the roast they use and its some of the best coffee in town. I even bought a pound or 2 to take back to Atlanta with me. Also the coffee beverages are amazing one in our party had the Chai latte and said it was one of the best she had ever had. The ambiance is great, nice high ceilings in both the dinning and bar area. I have eaten in both areas and enjoyed the experience in each. The wait staff attentive and professional while still coming across as casual and welcoming. The décor is rustic/trendy and was quite pleasant. Looking forward to return visits in the future. Shout out to the management for allowing us to take over the bar with their, lets have some fun attitude. Its a stop for me every single time I am in town and will continue to be for many visits to come.

After trekking all day in snow on designated trails and really none of us in the mood to cook, consensus was to eat in town. The men decided this was spot, and with that said, the experience started. Attentive service, welcoming suggestions and openness made you feel you been there forever. Food was absolutely wonderful, no qualms from 6 patrons who were happy as can be with there entrée & adult beverage selection. When all is quiet, chatter missing, you know contentment of fullness will be elated. Compliments to the staff & chef, or chefs, job well done and we will be back with more hungry appetites.

Weekend away with some friends found us wanting a fun local meal. Stumbled upon The Cork and Bean in a guide we picked up. Gave it a try and we were not disappointed. Sweet Potato fries to start along with some local craft beer hit the spot. They were out of the Nantahala blonde ale, but figured we could catch it at the brewery later. We all decided on the crepes. Tasty with great flavor. Anything with avocado is a hit. Two choices: one with chicken and the other was turkey. Prices were reasonable and the service was good. For a late afternoon lunch, they were busy on a rainy day. Will definitely stop here again.

Stopped in for coffee after a long weekend stay in a cabin in the middle of no where. We weren’t too hungry after eating our own homemade breakfasts at the cabin, so we decided to grab a coffee, chill, then head out. I ordered a latte at the register while others hung out at the plentiful tables in the café. Some were eating full brunch entrees(smaller groups) while larger groups were ushered into the back part of the restaurant that we couldn’t see. The full bar behind the register was intriguing but also highly unavailable since it was not yet noon on a Sunday. Unfortunate, since a chalkboard advertised some interesting local drafts I wanted to sample. The coffee took a lot longer than it should to make, but in the end, the coffee art was beautiful and just what I needed as a pick me up for the end of my vacay.
