I pay Starbucks $ 6 or more for coffee and if I wanted people to mess up my order I would pay 1⁄3rd of the price at McDonald’s. This Starbucks rarely gets my order right and through the drive through it is nearly always made wrong. This location needs work but then again the majority of restaurants in college station aren’t worth spending money at.

Not pleased… I was standing next in line and some, young blonde, decided I was not the right color to wait on so she acted like I was not there and turned to the older white lady next to me and asked if she needed help. To my surprise the woman told the blonde that I was next not one or two times but four times! After her own co-workers asked what her problem was(the blonde) she fled to the backroom and someone else waited on me. This is terrible customer service and I will not be spending anymore time in this particular starbucks.

I always walk in to offset the issue of getting it wrong… always ask for medium iced vanilla coffee w/lite heavy crème 2 pumps of vanilla syrup and 10 or less pcs of ice… can’t get it… no how… ain’t gonna happen. I actually now like the variety of results and have learned a few things… but with my free refill card I can usually control the second serving as I walk up when not sure line and help walk through process w/person making my refill. not a very tidy store and always full of blinn students drinking water and getting your free air. Staff’s good some, moody some, rude some time and a few always just seem to be pissed at the world= shouldn’t be selling folks $ 4 to $ 5 coffee in my opinion.

Plenty of seating, a couple of comfy leather chairs, prompt service at 5:45AM, and plenty of smiles to go around from the baristas. Now this is how its done! Located next to a small Commerce National Bank branch on the corner of E. Villa Maria and South Texas Avenue, this Starbucks location really helps to get my morning going prior to heading into College Station. The drive-thru seems to move fairly quickly, and this location conveys an appearance of being a much larger venue than most Starbucks locations. Seems to be a pretty chill place to hang out as well. Gig Em’, Starbucks?

In town for the week so of course I camped out at the local Starbucks. It is always interesting seeing the different dynamics between stores and I have to say that a single partner at this location prompted this review. Her name is Mckenzie and she is an absolute delight! She has been here every morning and her cheerful personality is just what one needs in the morning! We need more people like her in this world! Thanks for brightening my day Mckenzie and being adorable! :)

I’m not a huge fan of Starbucks(their coffee is extremely acidic and upsets my stomach and doesn’t taste very good). Unfortunately however, it’s often the only coffee shop nearby. This location is near my house and I come here occasionally to get tea. I’ve attempted to do some mindless studying here sometimes. Every time the music is loud and bad and the teenage staff is even louder. I have no idea why they feel the need to scream their conversations at each other when they’re two feet away from each other, but it’s very obnoxious and distracting. If you want a nice coffee shop vibe, do not come here.

Every time I come to this starbucks, the wait is forever! This morning, I decided to give it another chance and my drink tasted awful! what a disappointment because usually the service is very good at other Starbucks.

Ooo I love this Starbucks! I’ve never had a bad experience here(except when it’s crowded) I don’t know what about this particular starbucks makes it so great. The atmosphere is just somewhat relaxing. The service is great(when you’re not in the drive through) And the people are so nice here.

This is my favorite Starbucks in town. It is larger than most of the others, has a drive through and the most knowledgeable and friendly staff in town. Their service is quicker than any other Starbucks and they are always in a great mood, with new recommendations to try. As a regular they know my normal drink and are happy to get it started for me as I wait. It’s worth going out of your way for the service.

This Starbucks isn’t really close to me but when I’m near I stop by because I love starbucks so much, their drinks are good but I’ve been through the drive through probably 4 times and every time it’s over a 30 min wait when there were like 2 cars in front of me… I don’t get it

The drive thru service here is crap. Only giving it a 2 because getting drinks here takes unreasonably long if going through the drive thru for some reason, and on two different occasions I was given something completely different than what I ordered. Would have been okay if it was something I liked, but no dice. *UPDATE* I WASWRITINGTHISINTHEDRIVETHRUAS I WASWAITINGANDTHEYGOTMYDRINKWRONGAGAIN. WILLNOTBEGOINGHEREANYMORE

There are three Starbucks near my office. This location is the furthest from me, and by far my favorite. I go out of my way just to pick up coffee from this location. The barristas here are so friendly. Their great attitude and efficient flow are impressive. They offer cheerful lines, such as «Have an AWESOME day!» that really do put a little extra pep into my step. And they never get my name wrong when they write it on the cup(I’ve gotten some very interesting interpretations of my name at the other two locations).

Greg calls it cozy, but I call it cramped. Don’t get me wrong I still love the place but seating is not exactly ideal. There are plenty of indoor seats which are usually full, but only two little tables outside. If they are going to offer outdoor seating then maybe Starbucks should add a few more tables. As for the employees and service, every visit but one gets my approval. Today did not. I gave my coffee order at the counter to a guy that just stared blankly at the wall behind me as he requested that I repeat my order two, three, then four times. I’m not sure if he was some hungover college kid or stoned or what– needless to say it was a friendly drive thru girl that correctly completed my order. Typically the service is superb and the beverage ordered to my specifications comes out perfect. I guess every place is entitled to a do-over every now and then. I’ll still be back.

Cozy and fun Starbucks. They must have a cookie on my computer as this morning I saw an Internet banner ad for a new coffee called Blonde Roast. After a particularly awesome lunch at Zand’s I found myself following my wife on foot over here as my brain had already decided I was going to try that. Yes, I fell for an Internet banner ad, go figure? The Barista suggested a shot of vanilla and it perfectly complimented the light but full caffeine roast. I think it was the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted from Starbucks. Yeah, chain of chains but fine with me this time. I’ll give 5 stars for that. Totally enjoyed our visit and the quality.

I read«The Starbucks Experience» about two months ago and I feel like this store definitely embraces what the Starbucks experience is supposed to be. I can’t think of one Starbucks anywhere else where the person taking my drive through order started by asking me how my day is going. And, as a Starbucks Gold Card member, I can say I’ve been to plenty of Starbuckses in the past five years. Since this is a chain, there isn’t much point in commenting on the food and drinks but rather on the service.

This collection of baristas is the most welcoming, exuberant, and professional of any Starbucks in my experience(which includes several in coffee epicenter Seattle). Whether the management carefully choses and trains the staff or whether these baristas naturally have good interpersonal skills, no telling, but it just works. They seem to sense when the customer would enjoy some banter or when they’d rather just get on with the cup of joe. As the first reviewer said, they get to know regular customers and their drinks. On the other hand, baristas show patience and kindness to Starbucks novices. If the music is too loud and the majority of customers are studying, the staff will obligingly turn down the volume. Just an quirky note about the music rotation; never have I been in this Starbucks for more than 30 minutes that some rendition of «Baby It’s Cold Outside» has not been played. The cramped space and resin-chair furniture are the only reason for knocking off one star. My hopes that Starbucks could expand into the adjoining storefront were dashed when First Victoria Bank moved next door.
