Stopped here on a whim, this food truck is really cute! I like that you can drive up if you don’t want to get out of the car. The snowcones are huge! I had a cherry and cola mix and it was pretty good. The snowcones come in these unique looking cups that allow a ton of ice to be stacked on top without spilling everywhere.

The BEST snow cone place in all of B/CS! Excellent prices. Super Clean. Friendly. Drive thru or walk up service. Plenty of parking. Great flavors. Great serving dishes that are mess-free. Will never go anywhere else. I love the whole theme and effort this guy has put into his business. THIS is how you run a business!

We stopped by Sno Monkey after being too impatient to wait in a 20+ deep line at JJs that hadn’t budged in 5 minutes. The whole place is rad looking, the old car, the trailer, the pretty paint job, and the guy running it was dressed like an old timey soda guy. You can drive up or walk up, which is nice. I liked waiting in my air-conditioned car for a cone! They come in smaller cups with a huge shallow bowl on top, something I’ve never seen before. The ice is so soft and fluffy! I guess I’ve only really ever had snow cone snow cones, not shaved ice. It was nice because you didn’t get those bigger crunchy ice pieces and everything melts once it hits your tongue. You can mix different flavors in a single cone, get cream on top, or a scoop of ice cream in the bottom(which was awesome, it turned into [insert snow cone flavor here] flavored ice cream). The guy running it was really friendly, too! Just driving down Briarcrest, I saw a few other snow cone trailers, and not a single one of them looked anywhere as nice as this one! The only thing I think I could want would be a couple of sugar free flavors, because I’m a girl, and I’m lame about sugar and calories.

We caught this new sno cone trailer when driving down Briercrest. It was first at Heb and later outside village foods. It really catches your eye with the restored travel trailer being pulled by an old Willis wagon. The sno cones came in really fun cups that let the ice pile up into huge mounds. It stayed light and fluffy the entire time. Great flavors are available and the owner is adding more constantly. The owner was dressed as an old soda jerk. It really matched the décor of the trailer with its old signs and great paintwork. I am glad to see more of these types of businesses coming to town. These were great snow cones and we will be visiting the snow monkey again.
