I like this Shipley better than the one on Villa Maria. People are nice and the donut is delicious as always. I was worried a bit if everything was sold out but they had plenty of them left here, not like the other location. The other locaion seems to make less donuts than this one does. I didnt go thru the drive thru since there were comments about slow drive thru. Walk-ins are super quick. Just park for a sec and you’ll get your donuts super quick.

The donuts are good. but the holes are really tiny and the kolaches are just«meh». Very long line and not the best customer service either. Also, they really need to have a menu up through the drive thru. it would probably take care of some of the long wait.

Stopped by this morning and asked for a pink glazed with sprinkles. The lady at the window asked me if I wanted a pink and a glazed. I told her no, I want a pink glazed with sprinkles. She then asked again if I wanted a pink sprinkles and a glazed. I explained I only want one donut with pink icing and sprinkles. In my past experience if I don’t specify glazed they’ve given me a cake donut which my kid will not eat. So the lady turns to the girl behind her with the window open and in front of me and explains that I was making it too complicated and difficult. I told her never mind I’ll go somewhere else and left after waiting in line for 15 minutes. I think customer service is as important as the food. Shirley’s might be the largest donut shop in Bryan College Station but NOT the only one. Donald’s Donuts and others are not to far away and service is much better.

The donuts are fantastic. There’s no question about it. Pretty cheap too. But the drive through is so slow! Expect a 10 minute wait. Also, they close at 1. I would love to get donuts past that time.

hard to beat their gooey goodness — if it’s bad for you then it must be good so this place is really bad!
