Nice local place to shop. I always enjoy the smells and the colors of the place. The staff is very helpful, the selection good. The prices on the jewelry are a little too much, but the selection is good.

Well this store is just plain neat. Very well organized and made me feel like I was in a store in a Harry Potter movie. Noticed a friend of mine named Amber wear a new piece of Amber hand made jewelry recently and ask where she got it. Earth Art she said. Well, I knew the name well, did a quick check to see if I ever Unilocal reviewed it and sure enough, nope. Was sure I had been in here before. Nope, would have remembered it. They do in fact have a wonderful selection of Amber(which I collect) but what really got my attention were the hand made unique kites. They do have lay-a-way but the kites are already reasonably priced and I do have my eye on one in particular. In retrospect I now wish I had bought it today. If it’s still there next weekend, I’ll get it. Fun place with really nice friendly service. Clerk showed us how to operate a «signing bell» which my wife nor I had ever seen in our lives. I feel this should also be listed in the category of «gifts» so I will have Unilocal update to reflect that. It would be real easy to find a wonderfully unique gift here.

I love this place. There is good energy there, so I love to get my crystals there. The shop owner is very nice, personable, and knowledgeable. There is beautiful, unique jewelry that appeals to everyone.

You can walk in, blindfold yourself, turn around 4 times, and then touch the first object your hand finds. What your hand lands on will likely be a serviceable gift for your Sister, Mother, wife, etc. If you need a quick gift for X occasion this place is a life saver.

Earth Art is one of the best stores in Bryan, TX and is a must see when downtown. When you enter the store, the smell of sandalwood completely engulfs the senses. There is a little bit of everything from different cultures: bags, clothes, tapestries, carvings, jewelry, incense, garden décor. They do layaway for the jewelry if you see something you must have.

I hadn’t realized they moved until recently. I think I visited the old location in ’07. I noticed the new store is much smaller, but the façade is nicer, part of the ongoing downtown revitalization. A lot of the trinkets I saw last time are gone. They still have a few Buddhas, but they don’t have any of the Taoist stuff, like the yin-yang stuff, and the little mirrors. I once saw a mandala at the old store, but no more. The incense selection is smaller too, with selections of the parent brand of Nag Champa, and one other brand.

I love supporting local businesses. I love supporting businesses that are unique and trying to add a little culture to a cultural dead-zone. Earthart does this. The most memorable thing about the place is the smell. It smells exactly like you would expect it to. A mixture of incense, and sandalwood. They offer everything from unique jewelry from around the world, to tapestries, wood carvings, colorful bags, and some of the coolest butterfly and dragonfly 3D ceiling hangings(I wish I could explain this better, but you just have to see for yourself). This place is always a stop for me when I’m in Downtown Bryan. It’s worth a look around even if you don’t think you want to buy anything. Verdict: Come to support local business, leave with a cool little statue of the Buddha.
