We found this local treasure on Unilocal and decided to give it a try based on all of the positive reviews. All five members of our party thoroughly enjoyed every part of their meal! The blackened chicken nachos were incredible… perfectly seasoned and dressed with just enough queso and jalapeños!

Great little local hang out can’t believe it wasn’t busier than it was. Real good service and fresh good food always hits the spot, home made union ring sauce and what appeared to be home made pepperjack cheese on my fresh Angus burger and fresh bun. Bartender room the explain the fresh food and best items on the menu to the point I thought he was the owner.

Really disappointed to learn after we had ordered and had eaten that the restaurant chose to charge a $ 2 service fee. This was for splitting a sandwich. An additional side was ordered. We are locals and feel that even though the waiter claimed the statement was in the menu, he should have said it. I believe that most customers do not study the menu and feel that it should be the waiter’s job to disclose that information when patrons are ordering.

Awesome industrial feel place. I highly recommend the blackened chicken nachos… They have queso and it will not disappoint. By far the best nachos I’ve ever had!

Wow, saw the good reviews and wanted to like this place… food was fine, but the service was painfully slow. After 30 minutes waiting to have our order taken, and another 45mins waiting for our food, we asked after our missing food. The waitress argued that we’d only been waiting for food for 30mins. In all, 90 minutes from sitting down to getting food. Waaaaaay too long for bar fare!!! We missed the festival we’d come downtown to see!

This is your burger destination! In our vacation we visited it twice. Which is saying a lot since we prefer to try new places. The burgers were cooked perfect, they are so juicy and not to be gross, but none of that gristle junk you find in other burgers. And the Blackened Chicken Nachos — oh my word! But the best thing about Tipsy’s is the staff! Hands down the best we encountered. On both trips we had Lindsay. She remembered us and even remembered what our daughter ate! She was friendly and knowledgeable. Truly amazing, all around. I would give more stars if I could.

Ok, I must be honest, I have visited this burger bar only on a couple of occasions, but I have never been disappointed. I have the Tipsy Burger every time I visit, just because it is that darn good. This seems to be a great place, just judging by the number of locals that are always there. The inside of the bar is nice and well lit(dimly in a good way). For those wanting a little fresh air with their dinner, there are a couple of nice tables out front of the building facing the street. Now the Burger and Fries… I have the Tipsy Burger and love it!!! Yes, I order the same thing every time I come here, because once I find something I really, really like, I return to try it again and again. The burger chefs must have a magic recipe or something, because it is always cooked exactly how I want it and the flavor is always… perfect! The French fries are perfectly greasy. Not soggy, not too hard, but just right! But, don’t come just for the burgers. The beer selection is excellent, and the beer goes great with a plate of the Chicken Nachos! MMMM-MMMMM!

Great food, wonderful«skillet cookie» dessert, and friendly/fast/cute waitresses. Only complaint is the live music is WAY too loud for this size venue. We wound up moving to a sidewalk table outside, and it was still plenty loud enough to appreciate. Turn it down!

This place made me one of the best burgers I have ever enjoyed. Perfect! I want to take them home with me. The onion rings were super too.

Walked in for lunch and a drink last week. Immediately greeted and felt welcomed. So far so good… then ordered the veggie falafel burger: holy **** that was good… house made(not typical frozen patty) with choice of side. Loved it so much we went back for lunch the next day and I ordered it again. This time we got an app though and I must say that the jalapeño garlic chicken wings were some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had wings just about everywhere! Happy hour specials are priced awesome too. Oh, and the bartender Davis is a real pro. Would have gone there for dinner and night out too if the place was not on the opposite side of town from our hotel. Will definitely go back if I ever find myself back in Brunswick.

If you’re in Brunswick looking for the best food and atmosphere in town, this is the place. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Good beers, great food, outstanding servers and bad ass bartender Davis made this establishment one of the highlights of the trip. Very well deserved 5 stars from this guy.

Stopped in on our way to the car for a drink or two on a Saturday night. Wasn’t overly busy at the bar. The owner immediately greeted us at the bar and told us about a new drink special that night called a «pain killer» that I ordered and it was the best mixed drink I’ve ever had. My friend had a couple beers and we had a shot, and I had two pain killers and the bill was only 25. What a great deal for a Saturday. Food looked delicious but we had already eaten. Bartender and the owner really took this place to the next level in service. Kudos to you and we will come back next time we’re in town!

Walked into Tipsy McSways on a whim due to hanrgyness after visiting Jekyll Island. We were immediately greeted by Jason behind the bar. Unfortunately, they did not have the kitchen open any longer(Monday at 10pm), however, Jason made it worth our while. Armed with good conversation and an outstandingly friendly nature, he corralled us into some drinks and a leftover soft pretzel. Delicious and soft croissant like, we munched and had a good laugh with the other patrons while we finished our drinks. Will DEFINITELY return for libations in the hopefully soon future!

Two of us stopped in for lunch last week. The food was good but not extraordinary so. We have some concerns that the guacamole was not very fresh. They have a number of tasty beers on tap and the service was good. We had avoided coming to this place for some time due to the curious name of the place.(Side note: We still miss the Brunswick Station Café which once occupied the same premises.) The other person in our small group thinks she’d not want to return; I’m ambivalent. I guess that suggests a rating of «3.»

Lucked out here, they have happy hour every day from 3 to 6. Lucky us they had Angry Orchard on tap for $ 3 and 2 seats at the bar. Davis did a great job bartending. Service was really good. The bar was crowded when we got there and the restaurant filled up while we were there. Had burgers with cheddar, bacon and an onion ring on top. Get to choose your side for $ 11. You can add whatever you want on your burger, so load it up. Burgers were good and so were the fries and onion rings. Join their VIP club by texting tipsy to 57711 and get a free appetizer or drink. Good place to stop if you are ever in downtown Brunswick. Friendly service and good food. Give it a try.

Brunswick doesn’t have a lot of options for decent pubs. This might be the only one, in fact. That said, Tipsy McSway’s would be a good choice even in a healthier town. I stopped in while passing through. My touchstone for pubs — the beer list — was a little weaker than I expected. No decent craft IPA on draft, for example. But there were other acceptable beers available. Food menu is about what you’d expect. Based on Unilocaler recommendations, I did try the fried goat cheese balls. Very tasty, with just the right amount of decadence. Along with the cheese, I settled on wings. Unfortunately, Tipsy doesn’t offer a spicy version(the closest I could discern was the house ‘Tipsy’ sauce, which was described as sweet & spicy, something I suspected leaned more towards the sweet than I would have liked) so I went with regular Buffalo wings. Just OK. Well cooked but could have used some more flavor, any flavor. Perhaps I should have gambled on the Tipsy sauce. Service was just fine and the space is reasonably inviting. Not sure it would have been once the band cranks up, but you have a different dining experience at places with live music, don’t you? A bigger bar would be nice, too. That’s where I wanted to sit but no seats were available.
