Tacos al pastor and cold draft dos equis amber. That is all ye need know. You can order off the«gringo» menu on the back — crispy tacos with cheese on them. But if you like that, you might as well go to taco bell. That ain’t Mexican.

If you are like me. …visiting Brunswick and you are looking for great authentic mexican food, then this is the place. The carnitas are fantastic along with their al pastor. I have also tried and enjoyed the pollo mexicana. If you need some extra spice ask for a side of the red salsa. Great place and highly recommend.

Great tasting authentic Mexican food; however, the portion sizes for the tacos are just too small. Order a minimum of three to four tacos. Otherwise, portion sizes for the rest of the menu items are good. The prices are good. Oh, and the staff is very attentive.

We were looking for Moe’s which has closed. Instead we found this little jewel. Fresh food, freshly cooked, great friendly service. A wonderful experience. Oh, yes, and priced just right. Highly recommended. We would definitely come back to it, if we weren’t driving through.

Best Mexican food in town period. I have yet to find anything on the menu that wasn’t just amazing. The service is great the price is excellent and plates full of the tastiest Mexican you can have in Glynn county.

Delicious, priced right, large portions, quick service and I feel good supporting a locally owned business. It is definitely one of my favorite lunch spots in Brunswick. This place is the real deal in Mexican food. I always go with the combination specials for $ 6.49 for lunch and you can’t go wrong. If you are driving through Brunswick on 95, it is worth the trip off the highway and away for the standard fare at the national chains. Don’t forget to ask for the complimentary chips and salsa. They also have some happy hour specials from 3 – 8 including 99 cent drafts and 2 for 1 Margaritas as of October 2015. The takeout utensils get one star.

Took a break from the FLETC dining hall to eat here, so be mindful that at this point my Cali-Mexican standards have been skewed. Nevertheless, the menu here is legit. Between three of us we ordered a caldo de camaron(shrimp soup), carne asada plate, and some tacos. Everything was very flavorful and authentic. Actually, the rice and beans were really good, as close to homemade Mexican as you can get! This is definitely better(more authentic) than Mi Casa. Also, they’ve got great happy hour specials 3pm-8pm on draft beers and margaritas!

After the start of a very bad day, I found my happy place. La Salsa Taqueria is my new nirvana. A hard working delightfully polite staff. That cranks out the most authentic tortas I’ve ever had. Man it was the bomb. Not only do they kill it in the torta department, but they kill it in the burrito, taco, and tostada department too. I was sitting next to the cashier and every customer that walks by to pay raved about the food, and everything looked wonderful. This is a definite return spot.

Best Mexican food in town! I absolutely love this place! Their chips are made in house and the flour tortillas are to die for. The staff is young but very friendly. It’s right down the road from my work so I find myself visiting a few times a week.

Being from El Paso, TX I was weary of coming here. However, I was quite surprised that this place stays packed with locals and visitors. It’s located next to a Mexican grocery store. They have a typical menu you’d find in any Mexican restaurant. I went twice, the first time I got carne asana tacos. I didn’t really like them. I rate them a 3. The second time I went I got fajitas to die for. I’m finding that some dishes on the menu are spot on, like fajitas. My co workers ordered the steak nachos which they loved! You can’t go wrong with either. The horchata isn’t really good. So stay away from that!

Soft tacos! First of all they are cheap and on top of that delicious! The service is always nice and attentive. The beans are always nicely seasoned. I’ve had the chicken and the shrimp tacos and I go back just for the tacos!

Cold beer. Great authentic food. Don’t let the atmosphere fool you. Salsa is delicious. My only minus would be the chips, I have had better. A diamond in the rough.

Best Mexican in Brunswick. Menu has good options for everyone, from tex mex to tortas to tacos con lengua. We usually order chorizo queso dip to start. The menudo and caldo de res are personal favorites. During happy hour, margaritas are 2 for 1($ 4) and draft beers are $ 0.99. There’s also a good selection of Mexican sodas in the fridge. The atmosphere is super casual and comfortable, and if there’s a soccer game on, it’ll be on at La Salsa.

If passing by Brunswick and want good tasty Mexican food, this is the place. Very authentic, variety of tacos from barbacoa, chicken, steak, beef tongue… salsa is delicious. I had el caldo de res(beef soup) Large portions — big chunks of beef, potato, zucchini, cabbage, corn. The place is not fancy. No frills, so if you can overlook that, you are in for a real treat.

Place looks like an old bakery… just a hole in the wall. At first, we thought it was just a Mexican food store. Finally gave it a shot as a change to the nearby Cilantro’s. We’re glad we did. The chips are homemade and different than any of the Americanized Mexican restaurants in the area: thick and hollow. We got the burrito and the beef nachos. Both were fantastic and inexpensive. The meal was a great value, and some of the best Mexican I’ve had in a long time. Unlike some of the reviewers on here, I found the place to be very inviting. The staff was nice and came by several times to check up on us. We probably will be going here at least as much as Cilantro’s after discovering this hidden gem.

Food: awesome! !! Ordered one shrimp taco and beef. Both were very good. Beans were perfect. Guacamole dip good. Service: not very talkative. Could be more inviting. For this only 4 stars not 5.
