Due to high reviews, I thought I would give this place a try while visited the area. This place was not worth the money. The building was dirty and the food was terrible. I ordered sushi and steak and shrimp with rice. Neither tasted good AT ALL. Would certainly not recommend this place.

Ok mixed review. I got the super bowl which is a bed of rice, veggies and meat (steak, chicken, shrimp) which was tasty and filled me up. The shrimp were pretty big and the chicken sauce was great. The steak was good as well. @ $ 12 it is on the edge of too much for a quick stop restaurant but the portions are big enough to justify.
One the other end I tried the spring rolls. $ 4 for 3 tiny little fried veggie rolls was underwhelming to say the least. And to top it off it looked and tasted like the appetizer rolls you get at Costco.
In all for a quick eat that’s not fast food it was a good place to go.

FANTASTIC!!! You can get a bowl of filet mignon and rice for under $ 9!!! Quick and friendly… a great addition to Brunswick! Just ate here last night for dinner and it was so yummy as always!!!

It’s always been great, though I think the quality of their chicken has declined a bit in the last couple years. I’d stick to steak. The food is generally top-​notch, they are efficient and the food is almost always prepared to order. The price is a few dollars more than it used to be, but it’s still worth every penny. Also, the rewards program helps even out the change in price.
Kyoto beats out any of the other express-​style Japanese places I’ve tried, and is even comparable to some of the hibachi sit-​down restaurants at its best.

Just like a Japanese steakhouse without the cost. This is the best Japanese restaurant in Brunswick. i have been eating here for years and the food is always great. It is also remarkable they have NEVER made a mistake on my meal. The prices have gone up over the years but for the amount of food you get and the quality of the restaurant it is well worth it. The restaurant is always very clean too. You will likely spot employees cleaning while you are there; considering the volume of traffic they receive it is impressive how tidy the place is always kept. They also started a rewards program not long ago. They save your phone number and when you spend $ 50 you receive $ 5 off your next meal. LOVE this place.
