Jerk Shack

Had the jerk chicken and curry goat. Delicious! Took us back 22 years ago to our honeymoon in Jamaica! Tasted the same and the music was the same, too! And we got scotch bonnet pepper sauce to take home, too! Waitress and chef greeted us and we’re so friendly! Thanks for the memories! We’ll be back!

OMG! I felt like I was at home! The food is soooo delicious and freshly made! So happy I came, the employees and owner were amazing and so nice! I will be back!

I give them five stars first for having the trio that includes getting any three of the meats they offer. Secondly they get five stars for being very welcoming. Thirdly they get five stars for having good food. I really enjoyed the food and it lasted me three days. The only issue I had was the goat was more fat and bones than meat. I should knock off a star for that, but I won’t. The oxtail and jerk chicken was on point. If you’re in town with FLETC try them out to get a change from what’s in the dining hall.

If you ever find yourself anywhere close to Brunswick, GA… I beg you to PLEASE stop here and eat! Get it to go, get some extra to take home with you. PUT IT IN YOUR TUMMY!!! This is great Jamaican food, as good and as authentic as it gets! The first time here, our service was outstanding, the second time, not as great but I wont hold that against them!
This time around we were here on a Sunday afternoon, they had a brunch deal with hot plates out, and a live performer, who was really outstanding! We opted to order from the menu. I personally am not a huge fish person so I stuck with the other meats. I just can not tell you how amazing their goat curry is, and the coco bread and (you may have to ask for it) their corn bread!!! Holy heavens above… their corn bread!!!

This place is a hidden gem in a little strip plaza. lots of parking and pretty easy to find.
This place, as long as its around, will be on our stop list every time we drive by!

Great authentic Jamaican food. Service was great and the people were friendly. Great place, great food.
I recommend that if you never tried Jamaican food this is the place.
Menu is versatile with jerk or curry, chicken, pork and goat. There’s ample parking easy to get in and out.
