Deck Masters

All I can say is first class all the way. Tom and his crew are a class act. They were professional, timely and put in a good days work. In fact, even though the weather was less than favorable, they showed up every day and worked as much as the weather would allow. They did front stairs for us and deck on the back of the house. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted and he was very helpful with suggestions that would compliment our house. His prices were very reasonable and the work was just fantastic. It far exceeded our expectations and his attention to detail was amazing. I would recommend Deck Masters to anyone looking to add beauty to their home. You will not be disappointed and will be in awe of the finished product. Simply awesome!!!

The owner seems like a nice enough guy and presented himself well when we met. Was the best bid I received on my deck. However, I guess you get what you pay for. My deck was started in early April and not completed until mid May. The current deck foundation was still viable, so that should have made the job easier and quicker to complete. While there were days when weather affected work, there were countless beautiful days when work could have been done where is wasn’t. When he did show up, it was usually in the late morning or afternoon. Again, productive hours just wasted delaying the completion. There was no sense of urgency to get the job done. When I spoke to him about it, he just told me he was not an «8 to 5 guy.» The work done was adequate at best. I have flaws in the deck and gates that don’t hang right that he is supposed to correct. I’ve contacted him several times and am always told he’ll get to it «next week». It is now mid-​August. I just corrected some of the flaws myself. Tired of waiting. Would not recommend.
