We paid twice to get the cable service turned on. Even though being paid in advance, service was disconnected two weeks into the service period with no explanation why except that Comcast still wanted more money. The WiFi service never worked at all. Calls to the service department resulted in empty promises and were only a waste of time. After having Dish Satellite service for years before moving here, local cable service has been disappointing.

I moved to a home back on the 10th of December and am still waiting for Comcast to turn on Cable and internet at my new home. I’ve always paid my bills on time and they treat you with disfunction and BS. Every time I’ve called(17 times) I get someone who wants a commission and they start the process over again. UNSAT They say that they can’t honor the contract we had because I’m in a different area and want to raise the price. 9 miles from where I was is not that different. I wonder if they allow customers not to fulfill their contracts. I’m going to say they don’t.

This is just a reflection on the actual service of paying my bill in person, not the company(though I’d probably rate it the same). There is ALWAYS a wait, almost going out of the door. There has a been a big-screen TV in this location for two years with a cable box on top of it, I assume to show off how the cable looks. It is never, ever on. What’s the point? The staff behind the windows is decent enough, though seem to be ready to just get through the day every time.
