Mediocre food. Overly salted meat. I accidentally ordered the wrong taco, one guy was happy to accommodate me but the cook got bery angry and threw the food in the garbage.

Discovered this truck at Funky Buddah! The tacos are incredible. I highly recommend you try«The Gatherer.» The flavor is amazing and includes deep fried avocados and mozzarella cheese. Now, I only visit Funky Buddah when BC Tacos is there. They are by far the best food truck there.

Delicious tacos for such a cheap price! Everything on the menu is fantastic. It’s difficult to find good Tacos around here but they’ve mastered the art!

Love this food truck. My favorite eats our the missing link and the shrimp taco. Both of these tacos are awesome. I have also added the fried avocado to both of these, delicious. I had the caveman as well and wasn’t a fan. The salsa are also fresh and on point. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is not honoring a Unilocal deal that was on Unilocal for the check in. Boo for that. I will still track them down any time I am in the area.

I first found this place as a food truck. I am OBSESSED with the gather. Or anything fried avocado and I love that they make a vegetarian taco that isn’t just taco without meat. I have since been going to their café in Davie regularly. Great local place. Awesome food.

I tried them at the Saltwater Brewery in Delray from their truck. I got a 4 taco sampler, which included«the gatherer»(fried avocado), «the encino man”(buffalo mahi), «pulled prehistoric pork”(BBQ pulled pork), and a 4th whose name I can’t remember. All were delicious, and I particularly liked the fried avocado. Came with a side of salsa but they were better without it. Really great and unique tacos. Give them a try if you see their truck.

Incredibly good tacos at a very descent price. The T-rex with fried avocado and the pulled pork one are delicious. They are every tuesday at Haulover Food truck fair from 5 – 9:30pm.

Great, loaded tacos! I had The Hunter, which was chopped and deliciously marinated steak with lettuce and cheese inside a crispy corn tortilla shell yum. I recommend getting the combo which includes a soda and tortilla chips because the filling will overflow and then you can have a side of nachos! Oh it comes with a side of pico de gallo and the chips come with salsa, which is on the medium side.

Food trucks have come a long way!!! Love«the gatherer» fried avocado soft tacos. They include nicely breaded pieces of avocado with cheese, lettuce, and a non spicy chipotle aioli. It has perfect textures and flavors that you just don’t expect from a taco. I also like their chips and green salsa. Fresh and good. If I had one criticism, their hard taco shells are not menu worthy. Stick with the soft — more awesomeness in each bite. They are often on Cypress Creek and I-95 for roundup and attend lots of food festivals. They got my vote for the best taco at this year’s Unilocal taco food fight!

Today was food truck day at my work. We live in South Florida so the heat isn’t the best here. Or the humidity. Regardless of these potential shortcomings, I made my way over to the food truck. It was parked in our other building’s lot, so I was able to enjoy the company of the wildlife during my journey to the other side. Along the route, I noticed some fish, turtles, and other assorted reptiles, amphibians and mammals. Makes me wonder why we’re here as humans. While we’re pushing and pulling our way through life, all the animals sort of just go with the flow, and enjoy their moment, whatever it may be. Anyway, after reflecting on my own mortality and purpose in the universe, I saw it: A beautiful, blue truck with a little furry caveman on the side. «BC Tacos» it exclaimed in its own sweet silent way only good artwork can. As I approached the well-maintained, shiny and polished vehicle, I noticed my other coworkers already there in line, smiles on their faces, excited for the surprise they were about to receive. In my own hungry stupor, I nearly tripped over the curb clamoring toward the order window! Silly me! I stood there in awe of the menu. A Beautiful, well-groomed female of about 23 years asked me what I would like to order. As I pondered my culinary future, I finally settled on the following: The Caveman, The Prehistoric Pulled Pork(PPP), and the Dino Delight. You’ll find my reviews below, immediately following this sentence. 1. The Caveman — This taco was a crunchy taco, wrapped in a soft taco. It was basically like folding up the Inception DVD and consuming it with some cheese and lettuce. Absolutely amazing. Half of a hamburger and steak sprinkled on top made this taco my favorite of the trio. I’m not sure if caveman had access to tortillas during their reign of the dinosaur days(Jurassic — Mesosoic period) but I’m sure he or she would approve of it being named after them. 8⁄10 would eat again. 2. The Prehistoric Pulled Pork — I’ll start off by saying that I wasn’t expecting such a big spice kick to this taco, and I didn’t like it. I LOVED it!!! Be ready to breathe fire! 7⁄10 would eat again(with caution and a cold glass of egg nog to negate the acidity) Not sure how or why it’s called pre-historic, as we are currently in the middle of creating our future’s «history» so the«pre» prefix doesn’t really apply here. 3. Dino Delight — You’ll want s’more of this one LOL get it? It’s a smore taco. Soft shell tortilla, melted marshmallows, chocolate chips, with a smattering sprinkling gently crumbled graham crackers. Absolutely delicious. Hope you have a good dentist, because this thing will take a one-two punch at your sweet tooth for sure! Dinosaurs are known to be lactose intolerant(as a general rule) they do not have 4-chambered stomachs like the cows we know and love, so I don’t think they would enjoy this, but I sure did! 9⁄10 would eat again. Thanks everyone for reading my reviews and I can only hope you experience the awe and wonder that is: BCTACOS!!!

I’ve had food truck tacos all over the country and B.C. Tacos are at the top of my list. The B.C. truck is parked next to FAU’s downtown Fort Lauderdale campus on Mondays from 10am-3pm. The service is quick and very friendly and the food is amazing. I like the steak tacos and the chicken tacos with Caesar salad dressing. What I order(steak taco, chicken taco and can of Coke) is exactly $ 9.00. A very reasonably priced food truck with incredibly good food.(This ain’t Taco Bell, folks, so quit complaining about the prices.)

BC Tacos parks near where I work on Cypress Creek every Wednesday, and I always say to myself I need to go, but somehow I’ve worked here three years and am just now trying it for the first time. It seemed the like perfect opportunity since it was their three year anniversary and I had heard rumors of a fried oyster taco in celebration. I tend to do lunch a little early, and it is a good thing because by 11:45 after I had placed my order there were people lining up. I ordered the special oyster taco, the gatherer, and the missing link. My favorite was definitely the oyster. I have recently just discovered my love for fried oysters and these were well prepared. The remoulade sauce on top was just the right balance of creamy and spicy. As others have mentioned the gatherer is a must order. Despite being a vegetarian option you don’t miss the meat at all as the fried avocado is the perfect crunchy/creamy combo and tastes great with cheese and their magical sauce. I ordered a third taco, the missing link. I’m not sure if it’s because I ate it last and was already full, but this was my least favorite. It was very similar to the other tacos I ordered… fried mahi with cheese and sauce. I’m not saying it wasn’t good, I just wish I had mixed it up a little and gone with the pork or shrimp instead of another fried filling. I didn’t go for the full five stars because it was a little pricey. Three tacos without a drink came to $ 12, which is a lot when you don’t even have a place to sit down and eat. However, as I am thinking about it I really only needed two tacos to feel full and one of the tacos I had ordered was the specialty oyster taco was more expensive than the others but totally worth it. Definitely don’t let price deter you, but if I paid this much for lunch every day I would be poor. The staff here was very friendly. They really seem to enjoy their jobs. I had been worried about using a credit card at a food truck, but they have one of those cubes that goes into their phones and the credit card transaction was no problem at all.

When I saw on Facebook that BC Taco Food Truck would be celebrating their 3 year anniversary today with some specialty tacos, I knew I had to finally check them out. It didn’t hurt that they used the word«confit» which is pretty much like dangling a carrot in front of a foodie. I rounded up some co-workers and we arrived around 11:40am. Thankfully, because behind us a huge line started growing. I’d guess and say they weren’t all sucked in by «confit» like me, so this truck probably draws a huge lunch crowd during the week — plan ahead. We had planned to eat there, and I swear in the afternoons when I drive past on my way home I’ve seen a picnic table by the truck, but today no table, so we opted to drive back to work and sit down. Of course I had to order the two specialty tacos — fried oyster and duck confit with grapes and lentils. Since I’m a real fatty on the inside I also got The Gatherer(fried avocado) which I had tried previously at their brick and mortar(it’s in Davie, look it up). First thing to note is that the specialty tacos were slightly higher priced. Didn’t bother me at all, but I did notice that they were actually bigger — so yes, more $$ but more food and cooler ingredients, so overall a win win. I wasn’t crazy about the duck confit… perhaps it just needed some of that special sauce, but I’ll give them credit for thinking outside the box. The Gatherer was just as good as before but the fried oyster stole the show. Duh, the sauce really hit it off, but the oyster itself was still plump and juicy and the batter had all the right spices. They do accept credit cards which I believe has a $ 8 minimum? Don’t quote me on that… but I easily surpassed the $ 8 so no problemo for me. Point is = YUM. PS. The address isn’t set in Unilocal as they are parked in an empty lot. They are on the Southwest corner of Powerline and Cypress just East of the Arby’s on Wednesdays for lunch!

I had the grilled mahi tacos — one hard shell and one soft. The fish was seasoned perfectly and it was not over cooked; juicy, flavorful and delicious. Definitely one of the more healthy options of food truck night.

These boys do it right. Awesome tacos available on the menu, so its hard to even pick what you want. Reasonable price for the larger-ish tacos you get too. Other food trucks will have similar prices, but for mini tacos. Also, the employees are real chill and personable. Great experience all-around. **Chips, salsa(s), and drink added to your order for 3 bucks.

We wanted to grab something to eat before enjoying a coupler samplers of beer at the Funky Buddah Brewery in Oakland Park. Since they don’t serve food, they have food trucks outside and you can bring the food in. We decided to order a couple tacos each with some chips and salsa. I ordered the Mahi Mahi and the Chicken, my guy ordered the Short Rib and a different chicken taco. All were pretty good, but my favorite was the Habanero salsa. I make hot sauce, so I love trying them all and like my food spicy. They were pretty inexpensive and pretty good. Better than fast food and best with a couple nice beers.

I don’t usually talk about having diarrhea in my Unilocal reviews but when I do, it’s because of BC tacos. My awful experience happened at the Coastline Festival where BC Tacos was parked serving up their grub. We got in line out of desperation because other food trucks had run out of food. One of the servers kept ominously crossing off items on the menu, so we were probably one of the last to be served. By the time we were up to the front the only thing left was pulled pork with cheese. Since I was waiting for a while, I got to see them throw around a plastic bag full of colorless pulled pork, which is when I should have opted to starve, but out of hunger, I decided to just go for it. If you haven’t gone to truck already, you should know that for $ 16($ 16.99 if you pay with a credit card) you get 3 tacos. This is already blatantly rape. I’ve been to a lot of food trucks and had a lot of gourmet burgers and quesadillas and fancy hot dogs for $ 10 – 12 a pop. $ 16 for some nasty ass tacos is rape, no matter how you dice it. The fact that these tacos were absurdly bad was just insult to injury. We didn’t get condiments. or napkins. Just some soft tortillas stuffed with lukewarm grossly oversalted dog food that was half thawed. I know it was half thawed cause it was swimming in a weird juice. I’ve never had pulled pork that was runny… this should have been a sign of things to come. The server half assedly sprinkled some bland cheese on it, which hardly helped the taste. Even though I was starving, I could only stomach one and ¼. But that was enough for whatever bacteria was in that rancid pork to wreak havoc on my stomach. We had to leave before the main headlining band and drive an hour and a half back home with horrible stomach pains. I’ve never, EVER had worse food in my life. I don’t know how these people are in business. They’re a disrespect to their customers. No matter how long a line is, you need to carefully and hygenically prepare your food, even if it means we have to wait! Not just crank out these awful concoctions just to make money. Worst experience ever. Thanks for ruining the festival for me, guys.

With the«Food Truck Craze» that has been hitting South Florida everyone that is falling for them has their favorites and I am no exception. I’ve written about a couple of my favorites already and it’s about time I write about another one on that list. BC Tacos is run by a wonderful human named Brett with a great theme and logo on a great looking truck. A number of prehistoric themed names go along with some modern and delicious tacos. My personal favorite is the Encino Man. Buffalo mahi with cheese, lettuce, avocado and buffalo sauce. The sauce adds a little spice to things but I tend to add BC’s own hot sauce to kick things ups a tad bit more. I’m also a fan of the the Stone Age Shrimp and Prehistoric Pulled Pork tacos as well. For those with a sweet tooth there is also a S’mores taco for dessert. Trust me this kicks the ass of a Choco Taco. The staff are great and the prices are what you expect from food trucks now and days. They have also opened up a restaurant(BC Café) in Davie that I haven’t visited yet but am looking forward to going to. But the truck is always hitting up truck events and have some common spots they are at as well. Check out their Facebook for updates on locations. If you love tacos with a twist BC Tacos is sure to satisfy a dino sized hunger. Yeah I went with a pun.

Get the«gatherer.» It’s a fried avocado taco. Get it, I’m not joking. I’m not even that big of a fan of avocado; I like guacamole just fine but am pretty much neutral on having avocado in salads or sandwiches. This taco though, wow. It’s so simple, yet so so so delicious: fried avocado nuggets, shredded lettuce, mozzarella, and some kind of scrumptious Chipotle sauce. I don’t care how much you like meat, get the gatherer. You’re welcome.
