Lionheart Cleaners

I’m not particularly pleased with this place. I needed two dresses dry cleaned. One took three days to get cleaned and then cost more than I expected. The other needed to be repaired and cleaned — the length adjusters on the straps needed replacing. I was told to come pick it up in three weeks, which seemed a bit much but I was already there so I just said ok. Then someone called the day I was supposed to pick it up to tell me they needed three more days to have it repaired. I was a little miffed but there was really nothing else I could do. I picked up the dress and brought it home — it cost 35 dollars to have it cleaned and have the straps repaired, no discount for being late. I wore the dress for the first time since getting it back this weekend and noticed 1) the front of the strap was resewn very sloppily. The frayed edge of the fabric was not tucked well so you can see it sticking out. And the strap was sewn lower than it was originally so you can see the holes and color fade from where the original seam was. 2) there is a burn or some black mystery substance on the front of the dress that was not there before. 3) the back of the strap was sewn a good half inch further in than it should have been on one side. So now there is more exposed raw edge of fabric and the dress doesn’t look or hang right. A finickier person would say this dress was ruined. This was not worth what I paid. I will be taking my dry cleaning and tailoring elsewhere in the future
