Run, don’t walk. Alana rules. Totally takes her time and her work is perfection. Pedicure foot/​leg massage to die for (and I have ticklish feet). CND Shellac done correctly. Her space is adorbs and super relaxing. Big plus if you’re looking to support someone who runs her own business and does it right! Online booking is convenient. And she sends email and text reminders. Best nail professional ever!

I love, love my nails after my manicure with Alana! She did a clean and classy job and she had many different unique color scheme ideas from which to choose. Her salon itself is also adorable. I’m going back in a few weeks! I highly recommend.

So, I give it 4 stars because she’s truly great at what she does. No doubt. A+.
But her policies were too extreme for me.
For example, I cancelled my appt with 44 hours in advance (instead of 48) and she charged me 75% of my visit ($ 37.50). The reason for my cancellation I guess doesn’t matter, so I paid and moved on.
My mom cancelled with a 24 hour notice, not because she didn’t want to go, she doesn’t have a car and could not find one that day. They cancelled on her and my mom called immediately when she knew, with 24 hours in advance, and got charged the full amount ($ 50) (not sure if she charged the $ 5 shellac removal fee).
Needless to say, we are not going back. It’s too stressful for something that should feel relaxing.

I had never had a shellac manicure before and wow, I am hooked! Alana is so personable and skilled at what she does. My manicure turned out perfect and I have a feeling I will become a regular customer. I highly recommend coming to see her!

I went to Alana based on her outstanding Unilocal reviews and I was not disappointed! Her salon is very comfortable and relaxing. I liked getting dedicated attention to my nail needs versus the crazy hustle and bustle of other nail salons.
This was my first time ever getting a shellac manicure and Alana did a great job. She helped me to pick a vibrant color (since it was for my wedding) and my nails looked fantastic.
It’s now about one week after the manicure and my nails still look perfect — no chips, etc. I already booked my appointment with her for next week!

MY GO TO SHELLAC LADY!!! OMG… she is good. She has a wonderful library of ideas for you to pick from (online), and her detail works is great! I want to feel pampered and in her wonderful salon you get to shut out the world and feel pampered. I love how she follows the rules on how to do CND’s Shellac (using the proper base & top coat) so it lasts the 2 weeks (and then some!)

Excellent! I was really impressed with my first visit here. Alana gave me a fantastic shellac manicure (one of the best I’ve had) it’s been a week and my nails looks like they were done just this morning! She is fun to talk to, and the environment is so relaxing! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent service and clean calming environment. I’ve already booked my next visit, and I won’t be going anywhere else:)

Alana does a great job and she is fun to talk to while you get your nails done! She takes her time and makes sure you are happy with the end result. The room is adorable and very well maintained. A+.

Alana does an amazing job on my nails! She is super sweet, her studio is crazy gorgeous and she pays attention to detail! My nails last so long and I always look forward to my appointment with a new nail design!

I highly recommend! For back to school, I treated my daughter to manicure with shellac and shape and polish for her toes. Polish lasted forever and Alana is so talented. We will be back!

Alana is amazing! She took her time with me and made me feel right at home. Loved the music and one on one attention. My nails look great and just how I imagined. I went in to do a trail run before my wedding and I am so excited to go back because I know my nails will look fabulous for my wedding! I did a glitter gradation effect. See picture.

I came to this adorable little salon with a girlfriend for her birthday. House of A is a one-​woman show in a building called Salon Republic that houses other nail salons, hair salons, massage therapists, etc. She has done a great job maximizing the space to feel like a comfortable, relaxing spa experience. We wanted to get shellac (because who wastes their time with regular nail polish anymore?) with some fun nail art. The birthday girl let Alana have free reign over her nails and she did a beautiful yellow and orange sunset effect. I got a glittery turquoise ombré that is still perfect 8 days later as I write this review — this is saying a lot, I can’t usually keep my nails nice for very long! Alana made us feel very welcome and kept us laughing. Definitely going back!

Alana is hands down the most amazing nail tech around! I’ve been so spoiled by her fabulous service that I can’t see anyone else without feeling disappointed. I love that she is always up to date on the latest nail designs and trends, but is also wonderful for a basic manicure. Her pedicures are fabulous too! She is the sweetest person and I always look forward to my appointments with her! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Alana now! You’ll only be sorry you waited so long!

Alana is one of those truly gifted and inspiring individuals. You will not find a better place to get your nails done! And you get to hang out with one great lady! It’s a win win
