We like the food a lot. I’m personally a fan of the meatballs and the fried ravioli. My kids however like the fried mac and cheese and rice balls. A bit over priced which I wouldn’t mind but they frequently seem to be out of one thing or another which is frustrating.

Ordered delivery– bayridge burger should be called the R train– because it was a wreck. Cheese melted on non toasted bread-not the meat. Lettuce and tomato were soggy bc the burger was already stacked instead of condiments on the side. «Seasoned fries» didn’t even have salt on them. At all. The team were really nice… however, my BF says the food is better at the shop.

Everything is excellent and fresh!!! Always great service and good beer! Good drink specials. Great music… I have shazzamed bc it reminded me of something from the past. Bread is yummy but the bacon is the best! The artichoke spread is perfect!

Great great great. I have eaten almost every sandwich on the menu. Never dispointed. I have eaten there and had it delivered. Delivery is quick. Get the prosciutto and mac n cheese balls. The wings are also good. Get the garlic parmesan. The best sandwich is the pork braciole. The roast beef is a little spicy which is also good. Eggplant parmesan is a little different but I enjoyed it. Never had the breakfast sandwiches sorry. They had a variety of beers and it’s all reasonable priced. Check them out. I am glad I did.

You know what’s important to me? Great food AND fast delivery. Ordered 2 sandwiches here and my doorbell rang in about 20 minutes. I like that. That’s important to me! That kind of service is worth a couple extra bucks. These guys get it. The food is hearty and of great quality. The Chicken BLT was amazing. Thank you!

Not worthy the $$$ In the Neighborhood of Dyker Heights/Bayridge, there are several amazing Italian Sub shops. Unfortunately most of them close early on Sunday so we decided to give Zito’s a shot. We ordered the Pastrami on a Brick Oven hero and a Trunzo on Ciabatta sub. The Pastrami was DRY overcooked or stale not sure, not appetizing and small. Then the bread with lack of sauce made you feel like you were eating a brick. My boyfriend had to slab on some mayo to make bearable. The Trunzo was also dry except for a line of balsamic. It was also suppose to have sun dried tomatoes, it didn’t. So expect meat and cheese w a few peppers on dry bread. Overall a boring and uninspired $ 11 sub. For $ 25.03 — SONOTWORTHIT! Save yourself the $ and go to Lioni’s, Papa Pasqual Or David’s Brisket House. YOU’VEBEENWARNED!

Happy hour specials on draft and bottled beer. Small shop with diverse menu. Order the prosciutto rice balls and the mac & cheese balls. Giant sandwiches you can easily split. Personable manager who was very friendly but by himself handling everything alone.

Let me start by saying that I feel so strongly about this place being overrated that I downloaded this app and I’m writing the only review I’ve ever written. The sandwiches were ok, just ok. Nothing I would ever spend money on again. What is really pushing my buttons is that this place has a sign out front claiming it has«the best sandwiches on Bay ridge» haha. Lies. I would take any diner sandwich over there’s any day. There was barley anything on them. The cheese on the cheese steak was cheap. My bread seemed stale. It was boring. I’m mind blown at all the good reviews on here of the place. Do yourself a favor, order from anywhere else. The customer service was good though, if that helps.

Obsessed. I have celiac disease and seldom am able to come across good gluten free bread. This place knocks it out of the park; and also has a great gluten free bear selection. They take very great care when preparing the food that things are kept separate; and I have never had an issue with them. High end quality product served in a simple way. If you want good quality, yes it may be more than the value meal at McDonalds; but it’s well worth it.

Had an unbelievable experience at Zito’s tonight! The Mac and cheese balls are definitely a must try and the eggplant parm was comparable to some of the greats– lioni’s, papa Pasquale’s. Overall, the ambiance, the service by Keith and the food were outstanding. Scotty, the chef, accommodated all of our needs, and added do a spectacular experience. This is the type of experience one would want when going to a sandwich shop.

Loved the food — delivery was fast too. Delivery guy was friendly — always a plus. We had the meatball parm and the sixpoint roast beef — both are great sandwiches and highly recommended. Originally — we had ordered a different sandwich on gluten free bread and they called to let us know that the prep included beer which wasn’t gluten free. Now — that’s what I call lookin’ out. Nice job Zito’s — much appreciated.

I have never written a review but was compelled to after my recent — exceptionally positive experience at Zito’s on 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge! The owner was there and has a wonderful way about him/terrific customer service. Great food, beer, atmosphere and kid friendly for all of you parents out there looking for a great spot to grab a sandwich and a beer! Great job. Have already started texting my friends about and figured Unilocal to be the best place to help get the word out about this(not so) hidden gem! Can’t wait to go back!

Don’t do it Well at least if you do don’t expect too much My husband and I expected a great sandwich I mean we’ve seen you expand to multiple locations you must be doing something right Um the sandwich we both got was made in super hard bread. Like it hurt to eat. And way too expensive close to $ 25 for two sandwiches? I’ll just visit my local italian deli That’s pretty much what happened Empty on Saturday … Now I don’t have to wonder why

I was excited when I found out Zito’s was coming to the neighborhood, and have been a regular customer since they opened. They make a good meatball parm and have interesting and unexpected side dishes. Unfortunately, I’m afraid I can no longer justify giving them any money because of the ignorant person who runs their Twitter. Retweeting a meme featuring Bill Cosby and«the card girl tho» of last night’s UFC fight was incredibly distasteful and served to alienate every customer who has been the victim of a sexual assault or has the slightest bit of empathy to those victims. Rape is not a joke, and certainly not a joke to be carelessly retweeted on a company Twitter.

Our go-to take out. The wings are awesome and I could eat the CBLT every day. Other favorites: the chicken parmesan, pastrami, and autogrill sandwiches. We loved it in Park Slope and we love it even more on our block!

Tried it last night for the first time and it was really nice. Good bread, good sandwich fillings, but I think it could be better. For example the CBLT has all the makings of an awesome sandwich but the weak part is the mayo. I was hoping that it would be some sort of herby mayo like tarragon or something. Otherwise, I’d like to see a couple of other sandwiches on the menu(a muffaletta would be slamming!) and fries are sadly missing. But I’m definitely going to come back, that autogrill looks awesome.

This is a cool casual sandwich shop using some very high quality ingredients from some of the best old school Brooklyn butchers. I don’t even love sandwiches but I like what they are offering here. Some key points from my experiences here: The décor is super casual with metal table and chairs. Both times my waiter couldn’t seem to care less about my existence They have a big fridge full of a bunch of beers that you can pick from It’s been pretty empty both on a Saturday night or afternoon They are oddly always playing reggae, often Bob Marley Since the front windows are large, it has an open air feeling The best thing I had here were the prosciutto balls. The sandwiches are a decent size for the price.

I was really excited about the concept of Zitos(the selection of specialty beers and sandwiches in a casual but clean setting, the promise of brunch, and the availability of Stumptown cold coffee brews would have shot it to the top of my Bay Ridge list). The friendly server and delicious fried Mac and cheese balls helped build up my hopes even more, only to be dashed when the food actually came. Buy fresh bread! Both sandwiches I tried(chicken parm and the Autogrill Italian press) were barely edible. The bread on the Italian press(a cold sandwich) was so hard I hard to gnaw off the first bite– after that I skipped the bread all together and just ate the cold cuts straight. At around twelve dollars a sandwich, such a disappointment. Also, I’m so over cash only places. I get that it makes the proprietors’ job easier, but honestly, it’s sub par customer service. They have an ATM on premises but, in a mind blowing twist, ZITOSCHARGES A CONVENIENCEFEEONTOPOFTHEATMFEE. I can only assume it’s because they understand that they won’t be able to turn a profit on their sandwiches and must seek alternate sources of revenue. Zito’s, build your brand before you start making demands on customers.

I went to Zito’s for lunch today. There were goods and bars. First the goods: the décor, the music, the mac and cheese balls, the beer selection, and the meat balls. The bad, and it was really bad: the roast beef sandwich. I took one bite, it was like eating a leather boot. Shoe leather. Horrible. Zitos should slice it thinner and not cook it so long. If you like roast beef sandwiches, you would be better off licking your shoes then ordering a sandwich at zitos. Needs to be reworked. I would could back, but not order the roast beef. The goods out weighted the bad.

I had their 8HR pork braciole sandwich. The pork was very good but the sandwich was just the pork drenched in marinara sauce that cost me $ 11. I think if they had cheese in the sandwich it would’ve tasted a lot better. Also I’m not a fan of salty food and the sandwich was a bit too salty for me. I’m not sure if I’ll be back but I can see this place doing well in the neighborhood.
